It threw it down with rain in the night... not at all sure the two lovely nymphs in my Fireman paddling pool weren't doing a mystical raindance or something, lol! The sun is shining now, but there are more clouds on the horizon, so I am expecting more rain... it is supposed to be nicer later on.

Just finished Littlie's ironing, so everything is ready to be packed except what is in the machine now, and will be ironed ready later on... I am not sure if she will be going back tomorrow, as originally planned, or next week, if son can get an appointment to look around her new school. Saves doing a double journey.

Not sure what I have planned today, except to take some ready meals to my mum.... dad does the cooking, and he has swanned off to Portugal for two weeks! She refuses to go, as he has a tendency to drop her off at a cafe or bar, and then disappear and do his own thing for hours on end. He has always been the same, used to do it with us kids, as well. These days he'd be had up by social services, I am sure!

Right, lets have a tread of the boards, and then my shower..... madam is watching her new DVD's on daddy's pc, so I am free for a bit, lolol.

Love and (((((hugs))))))

Stomps onto thread!! B Internet, blueyonder was down and only just got on line been trying since 08.15. Still got a load of washing done and cleared out two drawers and cleaned the bathroom and bedroom so it was an ill wind I suppose. OH at golf so had to do all the checks myself to make sure it wasn't me!!! But it has just come on so OK now.

Sorry about the rain dance Daff, more of a rain wallow I think Lol!!!!

Had a little rain overnight but just very warm and humid now, not raining at the moment but more looks likely.

At least he didn't lose his wallet this time then Daff. Perhaps your Mum enjoys the peace and quiet. What happens if you don't take the ready meals round does your Mum not eat?
Why didn't B arrange an appointment for Monday before then you would know where you are? Men!!!! Does he need to look round it now Daff, I guess he can't change where she goes as the councils seem to be well in charge of that judging from the papers.

Am just about to take dog to the park (slowly) and later the dragonlady is taking me to lunch at Harvey Nicks. Should be fun haha. Would much prefer going to garden centre as lots of my flowers have wilted in the heat and I need some fresh blood!

Hope you all have a good day. Mwah! BC XX

Morning Maz, and all. I would just love to writie a story about Gizmo for my grandchildren! You could keep a diary, Maz. ' A Day in the Life of Gizmo'!!

Well the lunch at Harvey Nicks went surprisingly well, she found almost nothing to complain about and managed to do an hours shopping there before I arrived.

Today there is a Fair nearby and *blushes...our Choir will sing for fifteen minutes at it...NOT beside the urinals like last time, but on a proper stage...*falls about laughing....and my thanks to my fellow Mermaid for helping me out with Delilah! It will be our closing piece, complete with actions.

Hot and sunny here, am about to tackle the park.

Hope Daffy has recovered and all is well with everyone.

Happy Sunday.

Morning all.... it is soooooo quiet here!! lol.

Littlie is now safely home with her Mummy, and my son back safely home here, the sun has gone all coy and hidden behind a cloud.. and I am enjoying peace and quiet with no Ceebeebies... it is like a morgue here, lolol

BC that would be a lovely idea... Maz could feed you he stories... like the one where Gizmo followed Maz and then waited at the bus stop for her to return... wonder what he got up to while he was there? Pleased your lunch went well.

Well, the neighbours have signed a petition, and would like to bring back Ethel and Edith Merman for a full concert..... so a job for life here, lolol ;¬))

Ann, I am not sure... B often makes these big pronouncements and then they fizzle out... but it would be after Mummy's birthday, in July... the schools in that area break up on the 23rd, so they don't go until September. In Melton, they broke up the end of June but were back in school by mid August, as I remember. So plenty of time. It might be that it will just be for two or three weeks, as B will be getting ready to move to Hull by then, and madam wouldn't be able to take the time out of school to come here during term time, anyway, so he wouldn't see much of her otherwise. He starts his course on 1st November, so will hopefully see her at weekends then.

~~~~~~ to everyone... It is a funny day... I am going to get all the veg ready for a roast dinner (pork) and then dead head the roses, and give the living room a quick wave with the vac, lol
Take care everyone, and have a lovely day.
Love
Morning Daff and All ....cloudy dull day here, but watching tennis final so wouldn't be going far from home.
Glad you enjoyed lunch at HN's BC and i'll be imagining your choir (with actions) do you have a 'dress code' for your choir?...please would you sing really LOUD so we can hear you lol... *hands out song sheets...although I think we all know the words to Delilah....oh oh ohhh!!! ;O)
Enjoy the peace and quiet Daff,recharge your batteries for the next visit.
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday
lol Mau....it went down a treat, helped I am sure, by the fact that the act on before ours was an East European group of folk dancers who took themselves rather seriously...... Delilah was definitely the favourite with the crowd. I nearly fell of the stage laughing.
Have to have a lie down in a darkened room now.
pmsl....Hope you are all having a good day. BC XXX
