It is cloudy but warm today but I shall be staying inside now I have done my shopping, I ventured into the garden yesterday afternoon and have been bitten many times and my legs are now quite sore so I refuse to give them another meal, whatever 'them' are must have taken a liking to me. lol

Daff I hope you are feeling rested and are letting the men and littlie take care of you as they will want to.

Morning all....

Maz, we have had torrential rain, and then it just suddenly stopped.... and the sky has started turning blue, lol.... it is quite muggy, though.

Ginnie, I have just received your parcel for the Newport meet auction.... they are beautiful!! I am tempted to buy them myself... it is in a good cause, after all.

My two fellas are spoiling me rotten, lol..... although Littlie and I were still the first up, so we had our *girlie time* and she is now all fed, washed and dressed (all buttons done up correctly and by herself!) and her hair beautifully plaited complete with purple ribbon to match her leggings.

I am not doing much of anything today... a few of Littlie's bits need an iron over, and her washing hung out... but other than that, I am just going to chill.

Hi all, just a quick update for you Daff...............Cancer nurse came in yesterday and told us not to expect mum to make it pass the weekend ( wonders if mum will prove them wrong again), mum is now in a coma and her breathing is very shallow.
Mums bed is in the lounge and her bed is facing me, and Ed and l have been talking to her a lot, we donot know if she can hear us but l like to think she can, also l keep her lips and mouth moist with one of the sticks that have the sponge on the end as l hate to think of her without water.
Daff hope your taking it easy this weekend, feet up and let them spoil you, lol.

A hard weekend for you Mummo, but your Mum is as comfortable as she can be and she will know that you and Ed have stayed with her, she wont feel alone. You will have the consolation of knowing you have done all you can.

Gosh the packet arrived quickly Daff I only posted it yesterday morning, I shall leave it up to you what you do with them. I wish I was able to come next week but maybe one day lol.


Thinking of you Mummo and family at this difficult time, like Ann I am sure your Mum knows you are there. When my Dad was dying we were told that hearing is the last of the senses to fail and we were sure he heard right to the end. I hope your Mums passing is peaceful. xxx((((((hugs))))))

Morning all, blue skies up above... I dreamt of massive baby owls bouncing on the roof.... I even dreamt that I rushed to get my camera and took loads of photos... I expect it was the magpies in the moss in the guttering... but it was such a vivid dream, I even checked my camera.... how sad is that?

Morning Ann, hope you are enjoying your weekend? When do your visitors go back?

I wonder what BC is up to today wth her own Littlies? Something energetic and exciting, I expect. No wonder she is worn out when they go back... I haven't don e as much with madam this time... just supervised and cuddled, so got the best bits, lolol

Well, a quick wander around the boards for me, and then get on with some tidying in the garden... deadheading, and I want some more courgettes, and the cabbage under netting is just about ready.... the caterpillars had the three lovely early ones, which should have been ready last week, but the butterflies couldn't get to these to lay. There is beetroot almost ready, too, and the next wave of mixed salads. So, Roast beef for dinner with all the trimmings as you had them yesterday, Ann, lol... and salad for tea and in sarnies as required. R is cooking dinner again, but he enjoys that. I will iron his shirts for the week.... it gives him and extra 5 minutes in the mornings... he doesn't do mornings very well, lolol!!

Daughter and OH just left for home after a bread and cheese etc lunch. This morning we went to the local garden centre for coffee (Twigs Daff) and then just sat and chatted, I never feel I have to entertain them when they come they are very easy visitors. we will have gammon tonight which I will cook, maybe with hot veg but maybe with salad. Always sd to see them go as we don't see nearly enough of them. Those of you whose children live close, enjoy them, it is hard when they live 2 hours away.

I am up first day of holidays I love the peace in the mornings ,Gizmo is happier when the back door is open and he can wander in and out .He is busy getting annoyed with snails at the moment he goes up to them and they retract lol then he shouts at them .

Aw bless, he wants them to stay out of their shells and play. *wonders why the snail doesn't feel the same!!!

Morning all,am still without my pc so using sons notebook. First of all,I am so sorry to hear about Mummos Mum and am sending all my love and sympathy. And to you, Daff, I hear you have not been feeling so chipper...big hug going your way.

F is four today so we had loads of things planned, but spent yesterday morning at A & E as he fell and gashed his head on a slide in the playground. Much drama and blood but Grandma stayed calm and bustled the dog home and the two to Casualty. I didnt tell Mum and Dad until they returned from 'playing' later on as I knew it wasnt too serious. He is absolutely fine, was glued together by a nice nurse called Steve.

As they fall into bed exhausted at night, my ickle hand reaches for the wine bottle. pmsl.... but we have done loads of things and maybe later go to the Diana Memorial Playground where there is a huge pirates ship they can get lost on while we sit in the shade..

Hope everyone else is tickety boo and also Gizmo:))..

may mummos mum rest in peace it is so hard to watch someone suffer .
well it is a bit cloudy today here but it is not cold so enjoy your day folks
BC gizmo is fine is playing out one door cries to come in the other then goes out again .the little darling!!! He struts in tail up

Damp here this morning, we had some rain overnight, enough for the garden but I bet the baskets still need watering. Getting lots of tumbler tomatoes now which is good.

Oh and OH's pc is playing up now, and his is only 2 years old or so.
