Morning all Daff hope you feel better have a couple of lazy days its been raining here however will see how it clears later.

Beautiful sunny day here, just heard it will be over 30 in London today..*phew,,.so am going to do my snail walk again. Off to the park now if I can drag doggie with me...lol...

Good morning, looks like a nice day here. Don't be surprised if I 'disappear' from sight my pc is playing up, I think it might be poorly.

Good morning all... lazy day ahead!!

Woke up to his nibs waving the thermometer at me before he left for work... my temp is down nicely now, and the *glows* have stopped... still a little bit tired, but less achey and not the poleaxed tiredness I get sometimes, so another lazy day should sort it... R put the dishwasher and the washing machine on before he left, and son is to sort them out later.

I have just spoken to the Doc, and he says that I can collect a form and go to the hospital for blood tests anytime, if I think I need it, he has the form all ready to be collected, son will do that in a minute (he has been awake all night, it would seem) so that I can just walk in ... our surgery don't hold needles fine enough for my veins. I need to have the very finest baby ones, as the treatment and Leukaemia has shot them all to pieces.

I know it sounds like I am being a wuzz, but we do get that *omg it's back* kneejerk reaction at times... doesn't last long, but it is still there hovering in the background... it would seem that it is a very normal reaction (thank goodness I am normal in something, lol) so I will have to learn to live with that and get used to it.

Have a wonderful day, everyone... I am off to sort my old papers out..... these two files are from 1995, I kid you not!! Most will be zapped in the shredder.. I have a nice tall one so I don't have to bend too far... but I am sure there will be a couple of little gems to save and go into the memory box.

Looks like this pc is finally dying. Keeps freezing, crashing, not opening etc so going out to look for a new one today. May be off line on here for a while unless I borrow OH's laptop.

Just been and bought a new pc so will definitely be off line for a while until T connects it all up and 'does things' with it. I hate changing pcs so much hassle. May get on hos lap top later!

Well I have just had a humiliating experience on a bus. I bought one of those large frogs in Poundland which go 'Ribbit Ribbit' when you pass by..I thought my grandchildren would find it amusing (well ok then I find it funny! lol) so I get on a crowded bus and the frog starts shouting at the top of his voice and I am getting flustered and even tried banging it and squashing it but on and on he went and wouldnt shut up. I tried apologising to the hot n sweaty passengers......'sorry my frog is very noisy today' but nobody was sympathetic and the driver kept tutting...so I got off the bus, flung the frog in a bin, and walked home. pmsl....

It is so very hot here today but the patio looks stunning and I am watering it every night. Am now off to do a small spot of *****work....

I am in and out... sorry I wasn't in earlier... got sidetracked on another thread, and also by a long phonecall from one of my brothers....

I am much better today, but R has insisted I do very little... so have watered the pots one by one.... and kept out of here a bit as it had the full sun for a while, and the glare was hurting my eyes.... with all the windows open it is fairly cool in here, but the glare... ouch. R keeps moving my chair around the garden into the shade for me, bless him.

Ann, isn't your pc only a couple of years old? Mine seems to be fine, mostly, but I have some problems with compatibility with Firefox... I usually get around it but not sure how?.... since B did that total wotsit on it... remember when I lost all my photos? I seem to recall I had mine about 6 months before you had yours.... I answered one of your posts re Vista, as it was new then. Hope you are pleased with your new one... maybe next year for me. Unless this one totally crashes. But a new oven has to come first as this one is still driving me nuts. But it works, just very very noisy fan that we can't shut off. Maybe next month.

BC I have seen those frogs and like Daff I wmsl when I read your post. Shame you binned it as I bet your grandchildren would have had so much fun with it.

I think it is about 3 years old so not happy at it giving up so soon. On T's lap top at mo as he hasn't managed to get the new one on the internet yet. Having a lot of trouble with it so far so not a happy bunny at the moment. Probably means another visit to C***t tomorrow, that will be the third.

Well we haven't had the very hot weather but is very warm and humid. Still very windy too,blowing my lovely pots over :O(

Morning all... I popped on here last night to say goodnight before bed, but it was jumping all over the place... bit like pinning words onto a frog, BC, lol

Mau, I would have enjoyed chatting to someone brave enough to take a noisy frog onto a bus, lolol How entertaining! There are some very miserable people around, aren't there?

Ann, are you all sorted yet? *wonders if new pc has been frogmarched back to C**** lol Sorry, couldn't resist!

I had a lovely evening, yesterday... got to my brother with the info he needed (the one who had the transplant, he really is a bit of an old woman, far worse than I am!) and my sister in law had done a meal... we sat outside in their lovely garden, and talked and talked... their stunning daughter has grown up so much in the last 18 months, she is almost 12 and quite the young lady. The last time she saw me, she was just 10, and I was bald, lol She hasn't seen R since she was a baby, so didn't remember him at all.

It was lovely, and better for being unexpected. I took some salad and baby courgettes from the garden, as fresh as fres, so they were added to the salad, the courgettes were lightly sauteed in butter... it was lovely. Family feuds have a lot to answer for, don't they?

Today it is baking hot here.... I am going to spend most of the day in the shade in the garden. I was up fairly early, so a big tuna pasta with mayo and greek yoghurt has been made, I'll have to dig something out for R as he doesn't do pasta or rice.... but he is easy about cooking it himself, whatever *it* is. So, a lazy day today.... Blissful. Oh, I have a load of washing on the line, and one in the wash, so feel reasonably virtuous ;¬))

I have just been out and taken loads of photos of the garden. We have a fair few gaps this year, but have decided not to fill with annuals... not much spare cash, so have bought perennial seeds, and they are mostly beginning to really flourish... forget me not, penstemon etc.... plus I took up a shrub I decided I hated as it grew bigger, well, son did, so that means a gap there. I shall put something all year round there, so that I can see it from here. Haven't decided what, yet. I have 3 cuttings of winter flowering jasmine that are finally taking off, plus BC's, so that is looking a good option.

Paid another visit to C**** and spoke to a man who we know is helpful. He didn't think there was anything wrong with the pc and suggested we spend another £25 for a new dongle for the router, which we did, expensive pc this! and it is now working. I am still on T's lap top though as lots to do still to get things onto the pc. At the moment he is fixing up a different scree, he had a spare one and didn't like mine. Needless to say it didn't bother me but he is changing it.

Sorry got called away to give my opinion then. New screen looks fine. Glad you had a good day with your brother Daff and a good chat. girle of 11/12 grow up very quickly, I bet we see a difference in our S when we go next weekend, we haven't seen her since Christmas and she is 8 next week. (going on 18!)

Oh Ann.... I am giggling here... I had a lovely screen, quite large and did me fine.... his nibs went and bought me one twice the size (well, much bigger, anyway) and I just didn't need it... lovely though it is, as I can now get a census report right along the page and HUGE!! lol Love it, but.... wouldn't have known any different, and my other was/is quite large. I was perfectly content with it.

His next suggestion is that WHEN I have a new pc, then I can have 2 screens going... What is he on? I have only just figured out multiple tabs, and then forget to use it... he seems to have a way that he can have about 6 pages open one behind the other.... haven't worked that out. I always get narky with him when he shows me how to do it... he types very fast, and tap tap tap it is done... and I haven't a clue because he hasn't let me do it while he explains it in words of two syllables, he has just DONE it... it's so annoying. So I act like a learner driver being taught by a partner and throw a wobbly. Heh heh!!

Good thing we love 'em to the moon and back!!

Can't find my flaming comfy shorts.... grrrrr!! So there is no way I am going to the bit under the trees in the front/side of the garden, where the shade is... and on view to half the neighbours...... in my vest and bathers!!
