Evening all.... had my talkathon... I have some homework, lolol..... and then went to my mum's, as dad has gone to Portugal for 10 days. So we spent hours just talking and laughing... it was great fun, she offloaded some stuff that had been worrying her, and once that was done, we just chatted... well she did, about the war, about growing up, about us when we were younger. Some very very funny stuff... I got back just after 8pm... and R nipped out and got a McDonald's for tea, lolol.... very decadent. B and Littlie had theirs much earlier

Tomorrow we are all going out for lunch, she made me lie to my sister... I will be found out, I know I will.... wmsl so I have to take her out and make sure she eats so that I can fudge the dates, lolol

Ann, that sounds totally exhausting... but how kind of you!

*pours large glass of Pimms* this is lovely.... very civilized BC... it is going to be hotter tomorrow, you know.... I was melting today.... although the scales say that it is still hanging around somewhere.... why doesn't it drip off????

Ann, my body has not realised that it is too old for PMT... now that just isn't fair.... 46 years of pmt is just more than any gal should have to suffer, isn't it? Littlie is safe... she is female... but Grrrrr..... men keep away, lol

Morning all... well, it is raining here, too, Maz... drizzle, to be more precise. We are all off out in a bit as well, for the day. We will have lunch out, too, with my mum. If daddy doesn't get out, it'll just be a girlie day out. If the weather stays like this I shall have to re-think where we go...down the Bay, I think, there is a museum there that is hands on for Littlies, so she will like that... we have to go and feed the ducks and swans again, so that is a good walk... I love Roath Park lake, it still has a somewhat Edwardian/Victorian feel about it. And the ducks, swans and geese have flocked happily to generations of bread-bearing youngsters. I might take the bubble machine as well. She loves that, too.

Maz, Jethro is vole watching... I can just see his tail end as he sits patiently half under the fence (the bank of the rean is right the other side) waiting for one to pop it's head up. He does catch one very very occasionally, but fortunately they seem to be able to scamper off unharmed once I have removed it from him... then he'll go back to sitting for hours again waiting. Then gets fed up, and comes in to find mischief indoors for a while.

Off to start getting ready for a trip out today, lol

Shant talk about my exciting morning as I have the dreaded dentist at 11am. No rain here yet anyway so that is something.

Morning Daff and All.........well it was lovely first thing but the sun has now disappeared :O( hope you have a good lunch with your family Daff (and the ducks etc. do too lol )

Hope dental visit isn't harrowing Ann. That's next on my appt. list so 4 down 1 to go!!

Dentist was uncomfortable (deep clean with injections). Have a very numb face/mouth at the moment so no food for a while as I wont be able to find my mouth. Still all done for three months!!

All done for three months Ann,always good to hear :O).

.....skinny dipping? yes I did that,once in Aussieland lol but It'll have to be virtual now,so i'm safe lol ..... since my health probs.this year, I think I must have put on a stone,( on top of me extra since retirement ) frightened to go onto scales now.....I'm a scaredy cat!

...blimey O'Reilly just received today's post and now have to have a mammogram....think I'm going for the full house pmsl ...not nice having boobies squeezed :O( ....but, has to be done!

Afternoon all:) And Daff, *blushes....Ann and I shall pay for the repairs to your swimming pool. It was Ann, really, she got a bit raucous on the Pimms and kept jabbing at it with a straw whilst singing Why Why Why......*shakes head....grown wimmin, eh?

Mau, I know what you mean, I have never had so many checkups (checksup?) as in the last year., and I am feeling quite good! In my post this morning there arrived a strange contraption which I am invited to...utilise and send back. Has the NHS been issued with new directives? lol they usually allow old biddies to drift off into the sunset.....

Very very hot here, had to use Underground AND bus today so am ready for a lie down. My old dragon was about to make a terrible mistake with her finances this morning and I had to talk her out of it. I left her sitting brooding about her increasing muddle headedness.

Hello all, hope your day is going well, what are you like Pimms and skinny dipping, such behaviour ,tsk trust me to miss the fun lol.

Has the numbness worn off yet Ann? hope your mouth isn't sore, I have done with the dentist for 6 mths (I hope) So far this year I have had the Mammogram, the smear test ,dentist (had impressions done yuk yuk)next is my blood test for cholesterol and blood pressure and then my eye test is due, so I think I have hit the jackpot this year.lol

Daff I hope you have had a lovely day with your family.

BC you Tell tale you. If you had not been doing handstands in the pool and collapsed on me it would not be all out of shape, squashed!!!!

Medical appointments etc. Had a mammogram, done the bowel cancer thingy,had an eye test, had several dentist appointments, had an appointment with dermatologist consultant re a probably rodent ulcer, had treatment for that, should have had a follow up appointment in June but that (surprise surprise) has not materialised. Blood tests etc due August. Just made an appointment to have an ear syrringed then next dental appointment October.

Sinking fast we were.

*glares at the wanna-be Mermaids* It is now all patched, no harm done, and it looks like new..... wmsl!!

I am knackered, and about to tae myself to bed, had a lovely day, though, so shall sleep soundly!!

Good morning Daff and All.
Rain poured down here over night,but today it's glorious,the sky deep blue,gardens so fresh after the rain.......think I'll join the birds in their bath,perhaps not might be a tight fit lol
