This will be the third time I have tried to add to this thread, and I am beginning to lose the will to live, lolol..... it just takes for ever, gives a flicker, and then whoosh, gone.

Maz, Gizmo sounds like a real little character!

Ann, I have found one half of my darning mushroom, but not the other, and all my buttons are now in a new home beautifully colour co-ordinated. Now how sad is that? Today I shall use the now empty Quality st tins to sort out my seeds, that'll keep them dry and stop the mice getting to them. I shall do that out on the decking though, and relax while I am doing it.

Littlie will be here about midnight tonight... so next week is all pure pleasure!! I think I shall have to buy a new ice cream scoop cos I can't find my old one... and I know I won't have thrown it, I really do keep that sort of thing *safe*.... somewhere! Madam has been helping herself to the Magnums, so they are now hidden... she will have to ask, not nick, lol

Right, off to start sorting the seeds out. It is perfect weather, very very still, so they won't get blown around.

Afternoon Daff and all:)) Just back from the Underground and the Dragonlady, and it's hot and sweaty but I shall not complain! Hope you have a wonderful time with Littlie. My little one, P, is five today and had a shouted, excited phone call, telling me ALL! lol I sent her two fluffy, swirly and totally inappropriate dresses so she was delighted.

Am sure you had a lovely week with your sister, Ann, but it meant we didn't see much of you...tsk tsk.....

Thank you Ginnie... my son and granddaughter are due to arrive any minute, so it will be just perfect tomorrow, lol Sharing it with a little one is a perfect way to spend it... not that it is her birthday, too, just that she likes to take over the celebrations and the blowing out of the candles. ;¬))

And if the postman rings the bell well tough...lolol..... It is far too hot for clothes. Have been out to the market, bought fruit, paint and walked the dog....*phew time for a little lie down now....

Thank you, Maz and Linda... the celebrations have begun!! A lovely parcel from Ann in Glos, with a lot of somethings to tickle both Littlie's and my own fancies, lol.... we love them, thank you, Ann... and if Gwyn looks in, thank you for the card, as well... it is purrrfect ;¬))

Littlie was a bit concerned that there might not be enough candles for the cake.... we need 6, she says, as 6 is very old. That drama out of the way, we had our girlie breakfast outside on the decking, as it is nice and shady there at this time of day... then a quick shower for her, hair plaited and beribboned, shorts and frilly top, plus sunhat on, slip slop slap and she is now playing in the sand and water pit with the cats looking on supervising. They arrived about 2am

Daddy and Grampy are not yet awake, so the day hasn't properly started....

Postie has just been, and thank you, BC, for the lovely card, lolol

Don't you just love birthdays? Last year was my party... and that kept me going through the treatment, planning it and being determined to be well enough for it, and I loved it. But this one is such a blessing, quieter, gentler, and much more thankful that I am here to enjoy it. I also am thrilled that it is Heroes Day today, as well.

*sneaks in to avoid being 'sprinkled' on* madam has worked out the sprinkler... and has drenched me twice, lol... she is now butt naked running around the back (in the shade, lol) so BC... she would dearly love to help you, and is suitably attired, lolol ;¬))

It has been lovely so far... just quiet fun, paddling pool up and running to soak hot feet, sprinkler for getting a quick shower... sand pit up and ready, tents and tunnels all out. So all I have to do is sit and enjoy... bliss.

opens curtains what a mess ,not sure who is in the corner snoring lol , hoovers ,and takes the rubbish out all clean , hope itwas a good day Daff !

Morning Maz... it was a lovely day..... and set to continue today, as well, lol... the paddling pool has a small leak, so that is now being refilled, Grampy is adding hot water by the kettle full so it isn't too cold for her. She is currently on her roundabout.... aka my swivel chair, lol We had a few tears this morning... seems she was sad because it isn't my birthday anymore. She was fine when I reminded her that there is lots of jelly and icecream left, so we can have another party today.

I think it will be another day in the garden. If it is going to be so hot, then it would be better to be hot at home rather than in a traffic jam to a beach or park.... and we have all week to do that.

So..... relax in the garden, then. ;¬))
