Welcome back, Ann and good afternoon all:) The sun is shining here and I ventured out today....lol...for a quick walk! My baby boy may be coming over next week so that is lovely: Hope you are all having a great day. BC XX

I have a bouncy reply box.... *glares it into submission* lol

Lovely to see you home, Ann.... and *huge grin* at the route you took, lolol

Glad you are feeling better, BC.... and able to venture out... it always feels a bit of a gamble, doesn't it??

My grand ideas came to naught today... I have been flitting in and out of the garden... the weather has been to nice to ignore. I did nip out to pick up my prescription from the surgery, but the kitchen still needs a good scrub through. Never mind... it isn't horrendous, just, well, you know how you have to scour once in a while? I did start vacuuming the living room, but the phone went and then I forgot all about it... and have been on here playing quite a bit.

I have two raspberry bushes which need to be dug in this weekend, so have been eyeing up the best spot. It looks like they'll need support, too.... *wonders if bamboos stuck in will do the trick* lol

Well, I now have my favourite secateurs... don't ask how they got into the tin with all my craft cutters, but that is where they were... so I am honour bound now to go and find some flowers to dead head... I love being out there, so it's no chore, that, is it? lolol

Love

Looks like our garden needs a bit of flitting in and out. After unpacking all I had the energy to do was dead head the hanging baskets. Hopefully it will be good weather over the weekend so we can get it into shape again.

I've just had a look... I have the weather icon on my toolbar... don't know how it got there in the first place, but I like it now... anyway it is defaulted to my postcode, so I clicked on it and had a look at your weather... mainly sunny tomorrow, mainly cloud on Sunday, but it doesn't mention rain..... so it looks good for a bit of flitting, lolol

It has come over very black and cloudy here... I do hope we have a good soaking, as the hose thingy has broken... we still have the sprinkler ones, but they don't reach the salad leaves on the table very well. They aren't expensive but you know me once I am in the garden centre....... and I have spent my play allowance for the month, lolol

I am off to son no 2's next Friday, and the school fete is on, so I am hoping to buy lots of bits and bobs there..... I really hope there is a plant stall, most upsetting if there isn't. I will put it to the committee - which includes son, new *partner* and also his Goddaughter's parents so I can make sure there is one next year, lol

Oh well.... off to bed for an early night I think. I have been sleeping like a log just recently, most nights, just waking briefly and dropping straight back off, which is blissful. In fact, last night I don't think I woke at all... so feel much better for it.

Night all

Lololol @BC... we were chasing a little harvest mouse around the living room the other night... it just didn't seem to understand we were trying to save it... managed in the end, but only after exhausting ourselves trying.

It is ok, it won't hurt you....

*frets* I do hope you aren't wearing that new underwear Hayley got you from Manchester???????

I can JUST imagine what the mouse is saying to his mum, lolol!!

Awful when you can't sleep isn't it Mummo. Trouble with me is, if I am awake I daren't get up and do things or OH would be up too wondering if I was OK etc. So I usually stay put.

Good morning Daff and All and welcome back Ann,it sounds lovely where you've visited.

It's a warm sunny day today (well when the sun stays out). Visiting family today who are up from Cornwall so have made a couple of quiche as my contribution to the party.
Hope it stays good as it would be nice for everyone to sit out in the garden.

Your garden sounds a real haven Daff and vegetables coming on a treat :O) xx

Morning all.... beautiful day in this part of the world, too.... all the windows are wide open in the conservatory and the cats ave taken up sunbathing positions, lol

Mummo, you will have earned a nice restful nap, so off you go... or at the least put your feet up and rest read a book, just chill out.

Ann, it looks like a lovely day to be in the garden.. I am in the process of watering the very back bit... it didn't get it yesterday, and it won't have any sun until later today... about 3, so plenty of time for the water to evaporate and not burn the leaves.

Mau, I do hope you enjoy your visit. I have friends coming up from Southampton next week, and haven't seen them since this time last year, so it will be good to catch up. I am not entirely sure which day they are coming, but I need to sort some housework out, lol... fortunately, she is the type of friend who has always taken me as I come, so I don't need to worry too much... but do need to put up the trundle bed in Littlie's room, as that is where they will be staying. And that means moving the room around a little bit to make room for it. R will help me with that tomorrow, though.

Off I go... cuppa finished... roses to smell.... I could smell one of them briefly last night, and it was pure bliss! Oh, and Ann, the first of the buds has burst open on my lovely patio rose, with loads just about to flower... I think it might grow out of the pot this year, so will find a nice spot for it in the garden, I think.

Love and ((((hugs)))))

Well, it is very cloudy and windy here with very occasional brief glimpses of sun. Just restocked the cupboard at T**** and now T had gone off to get a battery for my car, hope they will replace it under guarantee as it is only a year old.

Mau, enjoy your day, I have to blitz the house next week as I have my sister coming to stay.... for a week.

Evening all... evening BC... are you watching the footie? I am not, I am watching all those handsome brave young men in the bright red coats Trooping the Colour!

I love all the pomp and majesty of it.

Brings a tear to my eye every time.

ButtercupFields

ButtercupFields Report 12 Jun 2010 20:15

Yes am watching, Daff but I love all the pomp and ceremony too. Such an important part of England I always think...they do a good pomp!

The mouse has to go, Daff *looks round for Ann of GG...*whispers...I bought some.poi...er...nice stuff that mice like, today:))) Sorry to all mouse lovers, but I have a phobia and so did my mother. I watched her faint once when she saw a mouse on the television! lol

Footie is on here, I ate my meal in the conservatory. I believe England's goalie just let in a goal because I have been told, I am now upstairs on here and footie is on downstairs, all the way up here to tell me THAT! I was, of course, suitably interested.... not!

Hopefully the mouse will be packing its little suitcase when it hears what you have in store for it.
