MrDaff Report 29 Jun 2010 10:05

Morning all... well, the world (or our bit of it) has had a good wash, and everything looks sparkly and clean now... this is one of those times I really miss not being able to smell properly, as I love that earthy smell when showers happen in between sunshine. Nothing quite like it, ranks with the smell of bread baking, bacon frying, newly mown grass and coffee... even though I rarely drink coffee, it does have a lovely smell!

Maz, I have a load on at the moment, all Littlie's stuff... she seems to take over the washing machine with her clothes when she is here, lol

~~~~~ to Mau.
Ginnie, I know!! I had a little word with son last night, well, early hours of this morning, actually, the second time she had a nasty bout. I have just printed off all the stuff I have googled and bookmarked, just to give him an idea.
He is not sure whether to do as Ann suggested, and take her to see our gp here, or go to her own in Scarborough. It may be that she just neds something to ease her cough at night, as otherwise she doesn't seem too bothered by it all... and of course if it is asthma, she'll need to have something on standby just in case, even if it is never ever needed.
Well, it is out of my hands for the time being, and all done without nagging or anything, lol ;¬)) I like it that way!
They are going out today, Littlie is all showered and dressed, the bread is defrosting (I have been saving all the crusts and putting them into the freezer just for feeding the ducks and swans) and now we just have to wait for daddy to get up. He has until 10:30 and then I send in the heavy brigade, lol I am not going, I am going to put my feet up and chill!
R went to GP this morning, and he had popped the cartilage out between two vertebrae, however it is back in now, and it looks like he has trapped a nerve... so he needs physio. Also, his hearing tests are ok to continue with his job. His works medical showed up some problems, but that has been sorted out with de-waxing, and now his range is fine. Just a little bit of blurring at one end, but well within the guidelines. He would have been unbearable if he had to give up his job, and was very very worried about it, so another stressor beaten into the dust, lol
Have a wonderful day everyone,
Love
Goodness page 3, sinking low!
Had a meeting all morning and until 2pm. Now got the minutes to write up. Last time for the minutes though as somebody is coming in especially to do them, I will revert to trustee.
Glad R's hearing is OK, I have to go and get one of my ears syringed, don't look forward to it, I never used to mind but since they changed to the pneumatic drill de-waxer I hate it. Almost as bad as the dentist and I have that joy on Thursday. Hope he can finally get his back sorted. Just a thought would R not be able to do his job wearing a hearing aid?
Why not consult the chemist about something to ease littley's cough at night?
Have done, Ann, thank you. We have some Calpol... and I was already taking the other measures, so hopefully she will sleep better tonight, bless her.... she is very good, though, and doesn't complain, just coughs, and then says *oh dear* lol.
Right, I am getting irate... must be PMT'ing or something, but I had better go and hide myself away for the rest of the evening or I shall end up having a holiday!!..... I will be late on tomorrow, as it is my Talkathon day, lol.... so see you then.
