Wmsl..... I loved it, really I did.... erm, but I am going for.... wait for it.... you'll be soooooo impressed..... Jasmine White.... it is nicer than magnolia... and then, we can just throw all our artistic creations at it, and it will act as a good display background (Hayley will be sooo pleased, lol)

Curtains? Ruby red to add warmth....... I luuurve the chaise longue (sp, but it sorta looks the ticket, lol) and warm red fluffy rugs all over the floors.......

So refained, donch yer know, lol!!

Actually, I got so used to magnolia in my quarters, that I have to have creams now... but then change the colour scheme every season with throws, cushions and lampshades... I have all in reds, jade, orange, browns, yellow, turquoise, deep pink, blackberry, black and creams upstairs in the loft........ I am the same with ornaments... I have them in all sorts of those colours for the accent lol

I should have been an interior designer, lololol!!

*fills BC's bowl with dahl and rice* the dahl is very good, and home made... but you'll need some yoghurt with it... it is quite spicy, lolol!!

Jethro has brought in a mouse, a thrush, and a chaffinchy type... we have only found the feathers of the last, the other two were alive, scared, but flew/scuttled off with no discernible effects once released... and each time Jethro has brought one in, he has asked for milk!! It is like he is into an exchange thingy, lolol Not sure whether he is clever or norty!

Mau... it was very cold on the step, but I had some excellent company!!

~~~~~ to Mummo..... hope you find Eddie pacing the floors, lol... Now that would be a day of celebration!!
Love
Daff xxxxxx
ps, Ann.... yes, to the nosebleeds, lolol
AnninGlos Report 7 Jan 2010 15:09
maybe it is the cold weather Daff, maybe it does something to the capillaries or whatever in your nose which makes them bleed.
Colours sound bootiful!!!!
Magnolia lol wonder why I dont like it lol sure it was government issue lol ,it mixed with toothpaste well to fill holes up where pictures were ,
It was even in our barrack rooms too easy to match up ,
Lol Maz... that is why I have gone for Jasmine white... it is lighter and yellower than the magnolia, which has a pink undertone.... but I now find that much as I love colour at anyone elses house, I am uncomfortable with great swathes of it in my own home... so the cream is ok, and then I can throw lots of colour in the photos and pictures on the walls.......
remember the flour and water paste as well, lol..... you could sand that down...
And the left over screw when you'd put the cooker back together.... always had one, no matter how careful I tried to be....
Those were the days.
Love
Well I left the TV to be entertained on here but the site is pretty boring tonight.. Added to which having just received an abusive post e mail and can't even remember saying anything vaguely abusive I think I might go and read my book.
hello all! I made it into work yesterday, although i left early....H's school has been closed since tuesday afternoon, but is open again today, although she is at home ill, her ear and throat "feels like they on fire" !!! she has a bit of a tempreature too! O is home too, didn't see the point of sending him to nursery, he's hurt her twice today already!
anyway, hope everyone staying warm and safe in the ice.
BC and Daff....I bought this rug for the thread......I know Fifi isn't to everyones tastes, but nice and cheerful! xxx
Thank you Jean, and Ann xxxx
*sigh* That top doctor man is just soooooo lovely... not handsome in a Sean Connery way, but fresh faced, open smile, boyish way...
Anyway... all is well, most bloods hunky dory, platelets a little bit low, but probably a good thing..... the blood was coagulating as it hit the side of the tube, lol I imagine it would clot far too easily if it was a higher platelet count! Haemoglobin a sturdy and rudely healthy 13.4.... so I don't need to see him for another 8 weeks... there is some indication that the joint pains may be connected to the AML, but he is letting the Rheumatologist play around first, before deciding on a course of treatment, or not, as the case may be.
I took tins of chocolates up to the ward and to the Day Clinic... it was very gratifying to be welcomed so well!! I got hugged to within an inch of my life... they are all so dedicated, and truly wonderful.
Oh dear, Mamiddau. Poor H..... I hope she feels better soon. And I love the rug... goes well with the ruby red fluffy ones ;¬))
Lol Ann.... I can't imagine you ever saying anything abusive, either?
BC... I liked the trompe de wotsit... and the green.... and the puce and purple, but not all on one little thread, lolol.... so I have kept them... just re-arranged them in other areas...... see, I have a fluorescent green bubble lamp in the corner... now isn;'t that relaxing???
Maz we popped into A**a on the way home, and they were loading the shelves with catlit and salt.... and fast as they were loading it, so it was being put into trolleys... it was amazing!
I still forgot loo rolls though.... will have to send son across for some.
Right... off for a bit of a sleep... I always get exhausted when it is clinic day
Loads of love
Glad today went well for you Daff - not surprised you are tired, it's the cold as well as the anticipation. You get a nice warm nap under your belt and you'll be right!
I hope everyone is keeping warm and well? Freezing cold up here in the North, but I guess it must the same for everyone else - roll on the Spring I say - I've had enough of this white stuff now.
I had a little mishap last night and fell in the bedroom banging my back against the bedside cabinet! and there was no ice in sight! Must have gone down with a wallop as it woke OH and he had to heave me back on to the bed - lol I guess he might now need a truss or whatever!
Keep warm, keep safe. Bi for now
ps - the decor sounds splendid - a real boudoir type of place. Can I be madam? :))))
