Hiya... just sneaked on while Madam is blowing bubbles with Bampie, lol...... she has been a little darling since 7.15, when she crawled into bed with us, lol..... I thought she'd just got the rooms wrong, but no, it was us she wanted to snuggle in with...... she lasted all of 20 minutes, and then asked me for some juice... and has been on the go since... not a single tear yet!! I escaped to my bed for an hour........ and she helped daddy bring me up a cuppa, all whispers and giggles.

She watered the garden last night.... well, we all had a good drenching, I have to say. But she stuck at it until every area had at least got a drop of water.... and it is quite a big area for a little one... she was soaked through!!

Must go..... bubbles have finished, so she will want to paint or cut and stick next........ we have had one go with the little scissors, and she hasn't quite got the hang of it.... but it won't be long!

Hope you have all had a wonderful Saturday.

Love

Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 16 Aug 2009 01:30

Bet you are worn out and happy Daff, what lovely memories your little ones will have of time spent with your and Bampie.

Jude, I would never have known it was stamped, you could have fooled me lol

Been watching my hedgehogs again, I love them, and photograph them every night, the little one is the greediest and was completely in the dish (a flat polystyrence meat tray which I stock up every night, have to remember to do it earlier now it gets dark so soon.) Little one is not so little, must be all the food I am giving it and it puts up with the flashes from the camera and the outside light going on and off, then when it finally has had enough it beetles off between the same flower pots every time but the older ones go off in a different direction. I am enthralled watching them come and go.
Just a bit concerned about the time we go away, if I can find somewhere interesting and suitable to book, five weeks today we should be on holiday lol and nothing arranged yet after I backed out on the Heacham house we had provisionally booked. Fed up going to same old place but don't want hedgehogs to suffer while I am away. It will be too early for them to hibernate, not sure how to continue the feeding for two weeks.

Morning all!

Glad your results were good Daff, and that you are enjoying having the company of son and littly - she sounds a joy!

I think my subs are soon up (next couple of days) and I dont think I shall be renewing (well, not for a while) as I have quite a few things on at present and dont seem to have as much time as I would like to do the things I want to do - lol - I guess we can all say that!

So, to all of you on this thread, I wish you every happiness and good health. I hope your health continues to improve Daff and that the forthcoming plumbing job turns out to just be a "washer-changing" operation.

I'll try to look in to see how you all are - but in the mean time - take care - adios amigos - hi ho Silver - away!!!!

Liz, do you think they would be ok with dried food? At least they would be able to eat a bit and it won't go off... I'll google in a mo! Madam is very energetic... but she will also sit down and colour, draw etc... so I get plenty of opportunity to sit and watch, lol.... I haveto say that at the end of he day, I am still knackered.... but not that total exhaustion knackered that washes over..... with that, it takes a couple of days to recover, lol!

Little one has managed to change my screen saver... poor mite thought she'd broken it, lol... the only tear we've had so far. She was on the Ceebeebies website... there are some fabulous games on there for littlies.... and she is very good at them! But there is a clickie bit where you can change your screen saver... and there it is, a robot drawing, lol

Bampie is chopping up a banana... she has had her weetabix and decaff tea, lol

I was in bed for 9 last night.... out like a light.... slept like a baby until 3, quick visit then out again until the bedroom doorhandle was messed around with.... Madam was on her way in to snuggle.... in she came with us for 10 minutes, pretending to snore.... then wanted her weetabix..... but 7.45 was a much more grown up time to wake up, lolol

Well.... shower time, now.... I have put the shower head down really low, dangling on a piece of bandage, lol.... very innovative, me!!........ she feels very grown up standing under the shower on her own washing herself with just a little bit of help from Granny.... why is it that all her favourite things end up with me getting soaked??

Jude, it is very good... like Liz, I thought you had drawn it..... but I loved it!

Thank you Sallie.... they seem even more special when you get them just occasionally, don't they?

Ann, well done to T, lol!! I am looking forward to being able to go to Cheltenham on a shopping spree again, ;¬))

~~~~~~~~to Maz... it can't decide what to do here.... Madam wants to go to the beach, but.... and a very big but..... she is used to the donkeys at Scarborough... for her, the beach is all about conning as many donkey rides out of mummy and daddy as she can get away with....... we have no donkeys! (I put Donkies in first, but it doesn't look right!! And I can't find the spell check on Opera!!)
Well..... must go.... she is ready for a shower now......I know this, as she has just ransacked all her new clothes, and chosen the ones she wants to wear....... her daddy will be sooooooooo pleased not!! He hates too much pink.... and pink she has chosen.... that stick of rock pink, too... doesn't come much pinker!! For her t-shirt, trousers, and cardigan. Well at least it all co-ordinates and is suitable for the weather!! I remember her daddy insisting he needed to wear just his swimming trunks and wellies... and there was three feet of snow outside, lol!!
Love to you all.... hope your Sunday is superb!
Liz, if you can't arrange feed for the pricklies while you are away maybe the two weeks before you should wean them off your feeding so they know that have to feed themselves, in case they are relying on you too much.
Daff, sounds as if you are having a great time, don't entertain her too much now or she will think that all adults owe her attention attention!!! Tempting though it may be when you don't see her often. She does sound cute though.
Jac, I too will miss you on here, so many of the older members leavi8ng, it just is not the same. I can't leave, I am too nosey Lol!!! Anyway, have a good break and maybe come back to us soon.
Good morning Daff and all and I was very happy to hear Daff's great news. Well done! Am also a bit sad to hear of Jac leaving as she has always been so honest and witty. I shall miss her.
I read that your Princess is with you, Daff, and I am sure you are having the most wonderful (if tiring!) time. I brought my two little ones back from Ireland and we reached here by 2am so they are still sleeping. They are the most entertaining of travelling companions, a constant delight and a great credit to their tree hugging parents:-) Mind you, it is only day one, see me after day eight! lol
The Wedding was the most joyous of weddings,the west of Ireland rain swept down from the hills but did not dampen our spirits. The Bride wore a beautiful flowing Grecian type dress with a circlet of daisies in her hair...she was heartbreakingly beautiful, and my son wore a golden tunic and trousers...finished off by an eyeboggling pair of golden shoes! Simply stunning. I am dying to see the photos.
I have to say *coughs modestly...that I didn't look too shabby either:-))
Hope all is well in all your worlds.
Morning everyone!!
BC... it sounds like it was wonderful! So.... what was your outfit??? You will need another holiday after 8 days with littlies, lol.... S is so good, but active and inquisitive... so I am knackered at the end of each day, and go to bed shortly after she does, lol
Maz, her mum loves purples and lilacs, so Princess gets a lot of that to wear... but she goes for pink every time when she is out with us, lol..... what a rebellion, lol, to insist on wearing pink! ;¬))
Sue M, that armpit looks, well, *blushes* naked!!! wmsl..... very well done, at last!!... and yes, I know!! mwah!!
~~~~~~~~~ to Ann, I know.... it's a balancing act, isn't it? And so difficult... she actually flutters her eyelashes at you!! She was taught it by one of her Godfathers, lol...... she uses the skill to great effect, I must say!

Well.... I must go and finish getting her dressed, she needs another scrub up. as she is now covered in felt tip!! We have face paints for later... but that wasn't quite soon enough!

R is still home today....... our Skoda is in for a service, and Princess and I are going in my lellow car to pick him up.... she thinks it is a huge adventure to go in the car!!

We went looking for Toys r us yesterday... didn't find it, but found a new store for toys, Smyths... well, the children can have a play with most of the big toys!! Better than a playground when it's raining, she was in heaven!!!... we went for tissue paper and large pots of poster paints (they didn't have any) and came away with a little trike which was half price........ she has been in her element, lol.... she fell asleep exhausted on the sofa, and I changed her for bed on there... she didn't stir, lol!! My sister and niece came and had dinner with us...niece is 16, and is brilliant with the children, and you should have heard them giggling. That is such a wonderful sound, isn't it?

Well.... must love you and leave you.... Madam is itching to get onto the computer before we go!!

Afternoon Daff, Mr Daff and Everyone:o))

Daff.....your doing so well, brilliant news:o)) but don't wear yourself out with Littlie!!!!

Gawd hang on a mo the dog wants to sit by me feet.......
he has one of those bucket collars on so trying to turn round and get comfy between my feet and the puter table is quite a performance and funny....aw bless him:o)) lol....he has itchy patches due to flea's (vet thinks) and he's all sore and scabby hence the collar!!!!

Anyways its a nice day here even if its abit muggy, just been into town for my chirapractic session, my back and is so much better and walking is getting easier too:o))

We're off't to Birmingham onThursday can't wait,then the following week we see daughter and her lickle family, then off't to Derbyshire to stay with my friend who has alzheimers, l ring her most weeks but its getting harder to understand her now, but we have a giggle which is brill:o))

MrDaff Report 17 Aug 2009 17:18

Afternoon everyone... Littlie is eating her dinner at the moment... we have been out to Barry Island, where she threw the first tantrum I have seen so far.... so I scooped her up, loaded her into the car, and suggested that she might quite like to go back to our house for a sleep if she felt so cross.... then we ignored her!! She soon came around, all beams and smiles... so back we went, had an icecream (she hadn't wanted to move from the roundabouts to go and get one, lol that is what the tantrum was all over.... she wanted us to mortgage the house so she could have a few more go's, lolol) We then went for a walk in a park on the way back... well, she rode her new bike, as we had taken it with us.... we hadn't intended to go to Barry, just to the park to feed the ducks! She is now back to her sunny self.

Mau... I bet BC looked wonderful!! So pleased you had such a lovely time, too. Yep, we are all thrilled to bits.... the biggest danger time for relapse is in the first 12 months after chemo... and of course, I couldn't finish all the chemo as I was too poorly.... it is now 6 months since my last lot.... and waiting 6 weeks is quite significant, as a complete blood cycle takes around 3 weeks.... hence the three weekly thing before... so the fact that he is happy for me to go 6 weeks now is really brilliant as he feels quite confident that things are ticking along nicely, so fingers crossed!!

Jude.... poor Madoc has been in the wars, bless him! Hope he feels more comfortable soon. Have a lovely week next week..... even though it sounds as though you'll be so busy your feet won't hit the floor!!

Well, must go and start the dinner for the grown ups...... madam will eat with us again, but only a couple of mouthfuls, as she'll be almost ready for bed... she is eating spagh bol at the moment, her favourite.

Love
