Star is it Gloucester cathedral this year? I haven't seen anything about it so maybe it isn't. Good luck to her I am sure she will be fine when she is with the rest of the choir.

Sorry Daff, remiss of me but I haven't been keeping up with all the threads, so missed the opportunity to say hope all went ok, glad it did and hope the rear end is a little less sore now.

I do envy you folk doing your crafts as there is nowhere here to do anything, and if I try to do something relaxing, I get asked why I am not sorting stuff out or whatever, he is the most demanding person I know to spend time with.

Oh well, at least I get peace when he is asleep and I am down here on my own lol

take care
love

Star, not sure but I think it is not so huge as Gloucester is it? Probably better if it is smaller.

Way Hay *punches air with delight!!

Thank you everyone for your good wishes... and all those thoughts and prayers really work, you know!!

I don't have to go back for 6 whole weeks.... I am still in remission..... my Haemoglobin is a fantastic 13..... yeh!! Platelets still low, but Neutrophils are nicely on the way back up... so all is well!!

Once my teeth are sortet, and my nether regions, then all will be hunky dory in my world, lol... but the rest are just minor irritations........ the biggy was the bone marrow, so that is fantastic!

Star..... tell her she will be superb..... a little deep breath, and a bit of nervous anticipation is good... it'll help... and what Huia says is great... pick out a friendly face, and sing to that person!! If it is someone she knows, fabulous.... but even better if it is someone she doesn't know... she'll make their day, being sung to so specially!

Jude, all has arrived well , thank you....... I'll plant half the poppy seeds in situ, and the others in pots..... and the thistle I shall also put in a couple of big pots... they are the very tall architectural types, aren't they? They will go in the very front, but it hasn't been *done* yet. I loved the card... did you do the sketchwork yourself?

Jean, I have also got your parcel safe and sound...... thank you, too. I shall put my favourite photos of the Princesses into the album... it is just the right size to carry around with me, lolol The other bits and bobs will be used, too.... the paper is fabulous! Thank you!

Ann, how did your day go? Were you spoiled rotten??

Once again everyone... thank you soooooooo much!! I was a bit nervous, but all is well!!

Love and ((((((((((hugs)))))))))

Daff xxxxxxx

Wonderful news Daff, sooo pleased for you, well done.

I had a great day, as T said we didn't do anything fantastic but it was a lovely relaxing day.
we went to Evesham Garden centre, stopping at Blooms Cheltenham on the way for coffee, and had a walk around, amazing, from there you can see the Malvern Hills and Broadway Tower, and if you look very hard you can see the aerials on Cleave Hill. After that we looked round the shops, I bough a cardi (thick one for Dorset) in Leading Labels. Then we looked round the garden centre but DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING, then we had the OAP lunch which was cottage pie and veg and a sweet - T had apple pie, and I had steamed syrup pudding, then we came back to the Range.

In the evening we had a drink and a glass of wine and pate on toast, a very pleasant day.

Not doing much today though, it is quite sunny/bright, had a potter in the garden while T was at golf. Now this afternoon have to get my cross voice working and phone the surgery who are telling me I have not obeyed them and gone for a blood test etc. Which I have. And have an appointment on Wednesday at the Hypertension clinic to prove it!!!!

MrDaff Report 14 Aug 2009 15:12

Aw thanks everyone, no big time partying, promise, lol.... but son will be arriving about 4.30pm, with Princess Dynamo, lol.... so I expect to be busy for a while.... she doesn't seem to stop... but at least once her jimjams are on, she'll take herself straight to bed, lol... she tells her friend Buddy all about her day, and then snuggles straight off to sleep...... if only we could all go off like that, wouldn't it be wonderful?

I am not sure how long they are staying this time... he has an open ended ticket, so it might be longer than his usual week... he does so hate travelling over the Bank holiday... not sure when that is this year..... not very bright, am I? lol!!

Oh well..... the longer they stay, the more snuggles I get, lol..... she is such an easy child to entertain, on the whole, but very energetic..

Loads of love

MrDaff Report 14 Aug 2009 17:37

They are here!! Ann, it is littly!! She recognised the car, and then us, straight away... huge beaming smile... is currently flirting outrageously with Bampie!! In between fighting Jethro for his favourite spot, and eating the odd mouthful of scrambled egg and beans on toast... she has been eating non stop, and all healthy stuff. raw veg and tomatoes, and fruit..... so she isn't really hungry....... The big Tesco order will be here in an hour or so...... I bet she'll eat the Jaffa cakes and those soft crispy things that will arrive... they are very special treats. Bank holiday was earlier last year, wasn't it? We went to a wedding in Cumbria on the 30th, I remember. Glad you enjoyed your birthday, Ann.

~~~~~~~~~~ to Mamiddau!
Well... off to entertain little madam....... and be entertained!
Love
Have a lovely time with your little Princess Daff and your son of course lol, you will be able to enjoy yourself with abandon with those results of yours, I am pleased for you.
I too got seeds and a delightful card from Jude, how clever she is!
Have been outside earlier taking more pics of the hedgehog family, looks like there is Mummy, Daddy and Baby, and they certainly tuck in to everything I put out, Mummy sniffs and snuffles her way through the cheese and catfood etc - she sounds like a steam train puffing away. I have so many photos, baby is very brave and sticks around even if I am just a meter away from him/her. Trying to make sure it grows enough to keep it going through the winter, still trying to persuade K to build a house for them to hibernate in. Knowing my luck, I will get him to make one, he will spend ages doing it and they will spurn it for something rough and ready lol
Take care of yourself, and don't overdo things Daff,
love
