Good afternoon all. Mel have you rung for those scropts?
Frank hope that RAFA can follow through with their help. Yes they will probably need to check your financial status. Hope you can manage to book a table for the weekend, now they have to close at ten they are having to condense everyone into a shorter timescale. Doesn't make sense anyway, all the big bars are doing is offering incentive to drink from an earlier time with cocktail hour being from 3pm.
Mandy so pleased that your son is enjoying his job, that is nice to hear. and good that all the meds were delivered for you.
Vera T's Osteopath is old school from what I heard by recommendation. T says he is an 'older' man (from an 82 year old that could mean anything). He is a cranial Osteopath and seems not to do a lot of actual manipulation just gentle movement. However, when T woke up this morning he must have slept heavily for an hour or so and his back has been very painful (he was warned it might be sore as it tried to free itself. He has now decided the nurofen is not doing anything so is sticking with paracetamols (I have read that they don't help back pain) and a heat pad that he bought on line which does seem to help suffice it to say that yesterday he was all upbeat and cheerful and today he is a miserable b****r. :-( :-(
So far I have changed his bed and meanwhile he laid down on 'mine' and messed it all up because he will lay on top of the duvet. Done a load of washing and generally tidies up because everywhere he chooses to sit ends up looking like a bomb has hit it. (Yes Vera my mood is mirroring yous, however can't blame the weather as it is unny although very cold).

Still windy here but the suns still out so thats good.
Poor T he is bound to feel a bit bettered today after his session yesterday. They do say it gets worse before it gets better so I hope this will work for him. Paracetamols always helped my back pain but people are all different. I know what you mean about where they have been it looks like a bombs hit it. Think I have said this before but oh never puts anything away once he's used it. He always knows where to find it though!
Frank I hope you get on ok with this scooter application and are able to get some help with one as it would make such a difference to you to be able to pop out when you want to.
Anng I think it is Mandy's son not her SIL. Good he is enjoying is new old job even if there are a lot more changes happening a the school.
I have put the bantam back in with the other two in their house and run. The two old ones are in the nest box out of the wind and the younger one is in the run. I am hoping she will eat something as it did'nt look like she was eating in the shed.

AnnG I think I would be miserable if I'd had all the pain your poor OH has had and after being pulled about a bit yesterday it's not surprising he has pain today ,let's hope the next appointment will help.
Its been absolutely pouring here all day and I'm sure there must be flooding about and I read that there is power cuts in some places so I've put the torch on charge to top it up ,there's trees down too.
Nice easy meal tonight chicken and chips and some apple crumble left over from yesterday .

I could get into this when I copied the long url into word. Not sure it will work here but it tells how there is no need to disinfect groceries and why.

Morning all,
We have a beautiful morning with sun Blue sky and white clouds but there are some grey clouds looming too so how long the sun will last is a good question. Not so windy either.
Trust you all slept well? Will see today how Ed is getting on when I drop the eggs off.
Have a good weekend everyone.

seems not too bad this morning. We have to go to the chemist as there should be a prescription there for him.
One strange thing is that he seems to have a pain across his stomach low down now, just a dull ache (as well as in his elbows and top of his leg. I think it is either referred pain or, in the case of his stomach, bad posture/walking.

Good morning to you all,
Sorry your OH is a bit under the weather AnnG. Lets hope his tummy pains clear up soon.
On my own this morning, Ros has gone shopping with Carolyn. Martine has taken her OH to the coast for the weekend. I hope he dosen't get taken ill, while down in Norfolk, as he will end up in either Yarmouth or Norwich Hospital. I would have thought the best place for him, would have been at home.
I am still getting these ANXIETY ATTACKS. I have had two this morning, and feel like nothing on earth. My skin is crawling across my chest. Feels like SPIDERS UNDER MY SKIN.
I hope I feel better tomorrow, as Simon and Sally are coming over, and we are going out to lunch.
Jan has been on the phone, asking if we would like to go down to Devon for a few days. I doubt we can go next week, as Ros has an appointment at hospital on Tuesday, and I have a scan on my whats'its on the 30th. The swelling has disappeared now, so I might ring, to see if they still want me to go. I hate waisting hospital time, if it's not necessary.
Nice to see you pop in Liz. I hope you and the family are all well. Sending <3 <3 <3
I have a job on hand. Trying to print Ros's Tesco Vouchers. I just don't seem to be able to get into the right part of the screen. Plus Ros doesn't have an Email address. How do I set one up for her. ???? PLEASE.
Just starting another crawling feeling, so will say BYE for now. xxxx

Mandy he has not said he is still constipated but I suppose he could be, it does seem to be muscular to me though. Hope it goes soon as it seems to be bothering him more than his back. We did get to the chemist, he drove and walked to the chemist from the car then waited in the car while I popped in to McCalls. I was the only customer in there at 10.30am. Home then and made a banana nut loaf.
