Morning all.... I had another, *mini party* yesterday, lol... my dad went home with a doggy bag... well a couple of carrier bag sized doggy bags, actually, lol!! My brother eventually went at about 4.30, parents earlier than that... and son number 2, R, went home about 1.30... granddaughter M had another party to go to, the little socialite, bless her!!

B and his partner and daughter... my little Princess Dynamo.... catch the train at 3.30 today... and poor R is back in work tomorrow!!

Two of my sisters started the clean up operation.... I will never be able to find a thing again! But I am slowly filling up bags with the plates, glasses and cutlery they brought, plus adding bits and pieces of the goodies as there is so much left... no gateau though, they ate all that, the gannets!!

Gwyn...... well, what can I say, lolol... boiled spectacles is a new delicacy in this house, lol!!

I am dreadful for losing things, folks... but the last place I found my computer specs is probably the weirdest ever... they had somehow landed up in a large pot of new potatoes, lol... I didn't find them until I strained them, lol... well, I just hope they don't start chitting themselves, lol!!

Right... off to do some scootering with little 'un........ she has packed her stuff ready for going home... mummy needs some time to re-pack, lol!!

They have all gone, beds are stripped and first load half way through..... but I am now exhaustimicated, so am orff to bed for an early night..... I have a GP appointment at 8.40 so need to be up and raring to go!

Ann I am sulking because I wasnt invited to the party, not that I could have come anyway.

I was without a computer for 36 hours as lightning burnt out the mother board. Happily I got it fixed for not too much and am playing again.

Morning all... morning Ann... all ok at GP... he has given me Co Drydamol and told me to take Tramadol (which I have a huge box of, but although it's a brilliant painkiller, wow... it spaces me out!!) if it is really bad... I have pain in my back, hips, right ankle, knees, shoulders, and my admonishing finger, lol and sometimes it is worse than others.

I have also managed to get my gynae appointment brought forward by 5 weeks, so feel happier about that... it was playing on my mind a little...

Today, I am going to do NOTHING at all... just doss around, and read my book..... I had a Marion Keyes given to me as a prezzie.....

Taff the lily has flowered, and it is the most beautiful cream with rust coloured stamen... stunning!!

Ann, there are zillions of new buds on my beautiful rose...... I shall enjoy watching them open... I might just pop around the side and see if I have a ceramic or clay pot that will complement it. Oh... and I am sure I could smell it this morning!! Just a tiny little waft... so hopefully my sense of smell is coming back.

The house is soooooo quiet!! :¬((

glad the rose has more buds coming, i was worried the hot weather had brought it on too quickly. Hopefully then the sense of smell will soon be properly back. As Taff says, be careful with the painkillers.

Huia, please don't sulk, you would probably, like us, have got within a few miles of Daff's only to come to a halt in a tremendous traffic jam!!!! glad you got you PC fixed anyway.

hi everyone

If I ever get the chance to get back to England, I will expect to be invited to all the meets or parties. The only trouble is that I will need to spend the rest of my life over there as I have found so many relatives and friends on GR. As things are, I cant see myself getting over there. My OH needs me to look after him. 28 days respite care would not be enough for a visit to England and I dont fancy taking him with me. He gets confused enough if we just go out for the morning here. Ah well, I can dream. And continue to enjoy your company on here.

sister G and possibly H will be coming over at the weekend... we will have lunch outside if the weather is nice.... G can't eat outside at hers, as her boxer and mastiff cross own the garden!!

I chopped down some of the French lavender yesterday.... and I have loads of new buds coming today, so I must do the rest tomorrow.

My friend gave me some vouchers for The Range.... I want to go and look at a couple of arches for two of the vigorous climbing roses at the back... it'll form a nice enclosed little spot for the seats there.

Lol!!! Every time I go to the range I spend all my time buying craft stuff!

Lol Ann... no, R had the last in his sandwiches today... I have frozen half the ham, and some of the beef... my dad had the rest, seeing as he brought it!! I am slowly working my way through the opened pops and fruit juices.... but S drinks like a fish, so she made good inroads into them, lol....

I have no idea who brought the Pimms....... but I shall enjoy a glass at the weekend!!

The unopened bottles and cartons I shall distribute to the family... the kids always like fizzy, don't they?

I am getting a real taste for Fanta, mind..... think I'll go and get a glass now!

I like Fanta but if it has a lot of sugar in it beware, you don't want to go putting on weight!!!

Years since I had Pimms, used to love it.

Meant to say how nice the beef was.

Ann, I seem to be able to eat what I like at the moment... I have lost another couple of pounds... but think it is because although I don't do as much as I would like, I am doing far more than I was for a long time... and I suppose fizzy pop is better than sherry, lol ;¬))

I'll tell dad when I see him... probably Friday as I have clinic that day, so will pop in as the hospital is fairly close to them.
