Huia...that sounds like it's the one! It is 'spectacular' and thanks for the information and apart from the 'spurring back' I am now fully armed. I do hope it continues the way it looks now...it looks so exotic! Hope all is well in your world and you are getting some rest:-)

My dog is sitting between my legs ...lol....shivering because of the thunder in the air. ...the older she gets the more scared she is...but the weather is very oppressive right now.....

I decided to take my OH for a walk this morning, mainly because I wanted to take some pics for the calendar I am planning to produce for next year with my local photos. We drove a couple of km down the road to a valley which has a dam in it. We then walked up and across the dam and up a spur to a lookout. Unfortunately the sun was almost directly ahead so in the photos the lake is silvery and the surroundings are dark. Still a nice photo but not what I had in mind. We then walked up another track on the other end of the dam to another lookout. Unfortunately the trees are growing up in front of it, so I had to climb up onto the first rail, hoping I didnt go head first over the bank, to get some photos of the lake. I now have several to choose from.

I also have several of 2 other dams in these hills, and lots of the Hunua falls, plus some of native flowers and berries and fungi and a couple of native birds. It is just a matter of picking 13 photos for the calendar. Decisions, decisions.

I had a Wierd dream, so weird I had to get up!......................
I was changing sons Nappy( and bearing in mind he's 23) and the poo was going everywhere! So I tried putting a clean one on him, made of bacofoil!! Funny farm next stop for me!LOL.
Well, we have the makings of a beautifull day here, suns shining, not a cloud in the sky..........I wonder can I get son to mow the grass? (in a bacofoil nappy?) Roast nuts anyone??????LOL

When my son was a baby 49 yrs ago he was in his carry cot and he filled his nappy and kicked it off and painted the canvas cot before I found what he had done. I didnt know what to clean up first - son or his cot. I should have taken them outside and turned the hose on them. It was the height of summer.

Morning all... had a busy day today so far... sister popped in for an hour, and man to clean the guttering came..... now have nice clean gutters, lol!! I had also slept in, thanks to my new friend, Nytol, lol.... I will finish off shampooing carpet and sofa.... then maybe pop off out to do some browsing around the shops. Or maybe I'll do a Tesco order online.... I am having *laid back and do nothing* moments wash over me so often, they are joining at the dots and turning into *lazy minx, get off yer rear and do something* hours, lol

I have been sitting out in the garden in the dappled shade... lovely...... mind you, from there I could see *chaos corner* in direct line of vision..... where all the pots, plants, and paraphernalia that wouldn't fit in the shed, have been *hidden* lol... very untidy.....

*sigh* think I'll go and have a nap!

Lol Mamiddau... I take it that you went to the concert? Poor hubby got caught up in the traffic coming into Wales, once again.... he was caught up for the Oasis one last week as well.... and it'll be the same tonight, lolol.... he's not keen on either... I shall dig out some Take That and play it for him when he gets in, lol *huge evil grin* lolol

Jude, I hope... no, I KNOW you are having a brilliant time!! Tell us all about it when you get back!! The Nytol are herbal sleeping things... but they do leave me feeling a bit *heavy* the next day...... then I can't sleep the next night cos I have been napping during the day... so I went solo last night... it's the light morning and those darned crows at the back of us!! they stop cawing at about 11.30..... then start again at 4.30....oh, and in the summer they seem to be disturbed by the trains as well... so will chunter when the early morning express trains (Cardiff LondonCardiff) go by about 1/4 mile away. With the Nytol I sleep straight through it... without I toss and turn, and am generally very restless. Or I close the bedroom window and bake!!

Taff.... dreaming of poo is supposed to be lucky, I think... *wonders where dream book disappeared to* but I am not tooo sure about the bacofoil, wmsl!!

OOOOHHH! i did Daff....it was AMAZING! took forever to get out of cardiff! yep, Mr Daff will be stuck again tonight.... gates open at 4, but support acts werent till 6:30 and my boys on at 8:30! chaos afterwards! tell him not to be cross though, cos I loved it!!!!

l did have a brill day, the weather was good aswell, l did'nt need me wellies either, although it did rain but we were inside.

You'll be best to read my thread "2 more sleeps...updated 18th June", tells all on there. Best bit was feeding the Asian Lions, phewwww so much respect for them and there keeper:o)))

Off now to try again at loading photo's onto my blog, everything went skewiff earlier and l had to close pc down, everytime l play with phto's something happens!!! :o((

I think I must have sleeping sickness!! I went back to bed yesterday for an hour, and woke up 3hours later!! feeling just as tired ? Oh well.....I must have needed it.LOL
