My chances of relapsing have now halved from what they were...... onward and upward, lol!!

Oh well done dear Daff and Mr Daff:-))) How fast that year has flown and what a flight you had on your hands! It has been an honour to dip in and out of this lovely thread and to 'see' you grow stronger and to hold ones breath with you when you went for some tests....and of course to watch you deal with it all with such great humour and panache!!

I shall lift my most elegant crystal glass to you tonight....filled with wine of course::-)

Hi all, Well done Daff, 12 months, that is an achievement not to be sniffed at and it will only get better.

All calm here so far, kids met from school, well, \grandson was actually on a day off today but went into his old school (Granddaughter's school) to help. Sooo met them both at 3.30, gosh what a large school that is, a middle school about 600 children and pure bedlam when they come out and chaos to park the car. Both quite happy, think they are together upstairs, fortunately they do get on well. most of the time considering the age difference. Just got a hug from grandson as we got them some sweets. Not that they don't usually have sweets they do. Forgot to mention there are 2 cats to look after too and both have been for a cuddle since we got in, strange as one of them is not a people cat, she usually only sits on son or littly. Must be cupboard love!

Good morning everyone.... well, it is afternoon now, lolol.... R was in late so we didn't eat until late... I had two (largish) glasses of wine very quickly.... very tiddly very quickly, but it wears off much more quickly as well...... so no hangover, lolol

Jude and BC.... thank you for the prezzies.... R might need the paracetamol... he hasn't surfaced, yet, lolol He did have far more, and far bigger glasses than I did, lolol

I have been putting things up high... things that littlie might hurt herself on -some of my kitchen cupboards at one end have curtains, not doors, lolol. She and Jethro play hide and seek there..... so of course I have to empty it of all the tools, painting stuff, drill etc etc that is stored in there!

WMSL at Gizmo, Maz.... lolol... what a little character!! Pol always used to like being up high... on top of the pelmet, wardrobe, roof etc... I used to have heart failure very regularly.... me and *her* dog, Bonny, our German Shepherd. She can't do it now, and there are times I watch her limp around and so wish to have her back the way she was.

Mamiddau... sounds brilliant! I have clicked onthe right buttons, I hope.... and you have a surname that is familiar to me..... not related, but significant in military terms... we lived in a street named that.

Do you know how much a 7 year old girl can talk???? She made about 6 cards and did one scrap book page and has talked all the way through, she stops when she falls asleep. She makes me laugh though, she, for some reason wants to get behind the sofa and it is close to the wall, She has spent ages trying to move the sofa, despite me saying she can't but boy is she stubborn. Apparently she is put behind there sometimes to clear up what has fallen down but Dad moves the sofa for her. Now she is fishing bits out from underneath with her hula hoop. Two smarties and a hair clip so far, and 2 pencils. The 'boys' have gone to a football match. Bet T is freezing.

hi folks , more kitty fun son found some bubbles in the drawer so he got blowing them lol lol Gizmo couldnt work out where they were going to when he caught one but kept crying for more to be blown for him .when they wernt fast enough he was pattings sons hand to go faster ,what fun we are having lol

Daff and Ann will be busy with the grandchildren I expect and Littley will have settled in by now. Am just getting round to washing Bob the Builder and Princess Daisy duvet covers..*sighs..

The Dragon Lady took me out to lunch yesterday (against my better judgment)...she insisted on changing to a seat by the window and the poor old couple who sat there had to be moved...then the music had to be turned down...and then this red faced man came to our table and shouted about how she had ruined his lunch with her behaviour. She continued eating her sea bass.munching happily, as he ranted. She had taken her hearing aid out by this time so it all went over her head....what a farce! lol Anyway I was quiet but vicious in my reply to the nasty man:-)

Dull day here, have just booked my ticket to Ireland for Christmas as the air prices are going up by the day.

Little miss has just got all the craft stuff out and is determinedly making a card 'on her own'....!

Quite nice here today, we are off out to lunch later to the Ha*****r. I have a swollen eye, courtesy of the cats I think, last time we visited I had the same problem, sneezing, itchy eyes etc. I do have some drops with me but it is a nuisance as I can't let them sit on me. Only had the problem since we lost our cat.
