Morning Rita and Sue and everyone else as you emerge
Thanks for the photos of Olly(spelt it right today !!! ) He is a beautiful baby.
Well probably going to Windsor this morning. Have to go shopping, another holiday impending. Also to deliver a card and cheque to my niece.
The next break is to Normandy, taking my Father in Law, something we've done about 8 times now. Hope he behaves himself.
Have a good day everyone

It's a good job I'm thick skinned isn't it? All this sarcasm about my bath!!
Maybe that's why it takes me so long, all this thick skin to wash.
(_)? (_)? there you go, one for Rita and one for Mo, Sue must have left you out for being so sarcastic.........LOL
Lady, one of my grandmothers had 11 kids and the other one had 12. Most of my aunts had between 6 and 10 kids, I've always had that many cousins I couldn't count them. I've never been able to go anywhere in the North East without bumping into one of them.........LOL

Rita, it doesn't give you much faith in hospitals does it? Just as well you know what tablets and injections you get, it could be dangerous relying on them to get it right.

Have we found a hairdresser yet? If not I'll have to do everyone's hair after I get the dresses finished. I could put streaks in to match the colour of the dress.
Hmm, that means GG will have red streaks, they might stand out a bit with her being blonde. Gold streaks for Mo and silver for Shelly. I wonder what Marilyn will look like with lime green ones.

Pauline, now green streaks, now I ask you,how could you ever think that !!
I could paint my nails lime green....now that I don't mind as I had light blue on this summer and it looked really nice.
Linda. what I want to know is what do you weigh ? You must be the most fittest one amongst us ..!
Going for me bath..~~~~~ x

Thank you for making mine and Mo's tea we felt quiet upset and not having one being left out. Sue is a naughty girl leavbing us out as well,.unless she had not washed the cups out Pauline my sister was shocked when I told her about the hospital asking what injections I said it is one d epartment and hospital not telling the other department and hospital. I have felt better leaving the injection off even my hair has new life in it and my skin. before it was all flaky and dry
I thought I would go into Town this morning to shop instead of across the road from me, the bus came along and he was about 5 foot away from the curb maybe even more and I had a struggle to get on I had my trolley on wheel with me I had to go down the curb then grab hold of the bars on the bus to lift myself up. some man told the driver off I was going to say something then thought no I might get on his bus coming back and he might have moved even further away from the curb. he beltted along the road and everytime we came to a stop he jerked the breaks on so people where falling forward. I was glad to get off that bus. I didnt have him coming back thank goodness.

Hi ,
Rita,I would have reported that driver for a jerky ride and being inconsiderate to his passengers, having drivers that drive that stupid , its no fun.
But a funny thing happend last week while I was on the bus, A young lady got on with her baby, my hubby helped her on with the pram. when we turned the corner the pram fell over on its side, the mother was not holding the pram (lesson learn' t ) baby was OK had a little cry but was frightened more than being hurt .....but what was funny ...a little dog appeared to have fallen out with the baby and was running around the bus. The bus driver stopped the bus and announced ,' Where did that come' from ? the young girl owned up and said its mine, so bus driver said you smuggled that dog on ..YOU have to pay for dogs !! I must say the driver did ask if the baby was OK ,but wanted the young girl to pay the dogs fare or he was not going to move on. The young girl said I got no more money...so the inevitable happened a passenger paid !!
Did you all like that story.....LOL ?

Rita, I agree with Marilyn, you should have reported that bus driver. I didn't know you had to pay for dogs to go on buses.
Shelly has your sunflowers opened yet? You have to pick which one you want to enter the contest with.

Marilyn What a lovely story, I travelled on the buses in London with my sister and two or three times people got on with their dogs but didnt pay a fare for them but they did have to go upstairs, the dogs were very good .
I didn have an accident on the bus otherwise I would have complained but I was upset it was a good job others were not older than myself.
when I first moved here to Surrey 7 years ago I got on the bus to go to Woking and a few stops along a young women got on with her push chair and the bus started and jerk suddenly as the driver started having a conversation with the bus driver coming the other way and he didnt take any notice that the push chair had run toward his section until someone went and got the chair and the baby.
I stayed with my daughter a few years ago and the buses have doors at the side as well as the front they still have them in Hampstead Heath aera and a women getting off the bus at the side door leaving the push chair on the bus as she got off she turned around to get the push chair and the driver drove off and the driver had closed the doors a man caught hold of the push chair and everyone was shouting at the driver and the woman came rsuhing up in a terrible state she took the d rivers badge number and a ciouple on the bus gave their names as witnesses to what had happened but I dont know if he was sacked ot told off.

Sunbathing!!! Marilyn you must live a long way away from me because it's freezing here. Are you sure you're still in this country?
Mo, you can't be a bridesmaid with grey hair, I'll have to do it all gold. Wonder if GG wants hers to be all red, would go lovely with the dress.
When my son was little he was a big fat child and very heavy (I was only 6 stone at the time). He couldn't sit or stand because he was disabled. I used to just about manage to lift him out of his pushchair and fold it with one hand while holding him in the other hand. I couldn't put it back up with one hand but my mam used to be waiting at the other end of my journey to do that for me. One day the bus driver drove off before I had the chance to get on the bus. I was left standing on my own, with my son in one hand and the pushchair and bag in the other hand. I couldn't put him down because he couldn't stand or sit and I couldn't put the pushchair back up. My arms were breaking and I was dropping him (I'd already dropped the pushchair and the bag) - then it started to rain!! I just stood there and cried.........LOL
Luckily a man stopped his van and jumped out to help me. I haven't a clue who he was but he took me right to where my mam was waiting for me. I've never been on a bus since. I started driving lessons the next week.......LOL

Hi everyone
Been reading the posts and caught up with all the goss. I've not been on the pooter for a few days.
Happy belated birthday Marilyn, pleased you had a good time.
Congrats to Shimms on her engagement, I love a good knees-up, I don't mind holding Olly.
I used to make my own Christmas cake and pudding but haven't done it for ages, my son doesn't like marzipan so last year I made a Dundee cake with almonds on the top
