Mo you were younger than me then ?I had no regrets only that John died when he was 61 18th October 1989 had a massive heart attack while we were out driving and died. I am not looking forward to next month as it brings it all out to me . we were miles from anywhere when it happened just two small cottages nearby and opened farm land.

I had many friends who married at your age some 18 I think it was due to the call up that they married early. as the lads went off to the navy or Army. one married an Australian another a Candian and one American but when Lydia got out to the USA she was appauled at the conditions she was expected to live in she caught TB and came home to England

Life is strange you never know what is just around the corner do you ?

im very late but im still here just done the last feed till about 4 when little man will need feeding againe but his mum will do that one and maybe ill do the one afther that at 8am

his little check are so lovely i just want to kiss them all the time
have to now put him in his bed cos he now looks like he is drunk lol

nappy change she say im quicker than her (Im quick as lighting)

bath time i do this quicker than her (his in and out like the SAS)

and last feed at nite as im up later than her (well thats true)

my reward is i can give him as meny kissis and cuddle as i like

Rita, that was really interesting about the war, it makes it sound more real when someone talks about it like that. I think we forget how frightening it was for people and how many people died by being bombed. My parents lived in a shipyard town during the war, so lots of houses were bombed as the Germans tried to hit the ships that were being built.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for your hospital visit. Write it all down that you want to tell him and take the note with you so you don't forget.

Marilyn, I don't make cakes either, because if I do, I eat it all myself. Besides, I'm making all the dresses for this wedding, someone else can make the cake.

Mo, I was married young as well, not as young as you though, I was 19, and had my first child the same year. It was the biggest mistake of my life!!!!!!!!!! The husband - not the child!!

I picked the right man the second time though, been married 25 years to this hubby.

Morning all I have been up since 7 I got up during the night and made a cup of tea and went back t bed and read my book for an hour before I got back to sleep. Sue good news about the Harris' hope you get a lot more information.Sue it wa snt in Wealdstone it was in Willesden which is near Wembley most people know Wembley but not Willesden.but thanks just the same.

Pauline the Docks got bomb badly and suffered . My father working at De Havillands use to come home very tied in the morning and tell us about the bombing on the docks and they made for Aircarft factories and Ship yards. he did fire watch during the night as well and they use to take it in turn.a couple of hours each.

you did marry young as well. sorry it didnt work out first time around but glad the second one has.

I use to bake a lot and did a bakery course at Ealing Cookery School I did it later in life in 1970 and made wedding cakes anniversay cakes we did sweet making and all the f ancy work. I ended up being asked to make special cakes I even did a football field one for a friends brother in Holland and he came over to collect when I lived in Norfolk. but I am past all that now.
