lol it amazes me the randm things we find to talk about on here.

After I gave birth to my eldest 1987 I was in hopital for a week and I had to send hubby to boots to get me some ST and he asked an assistand for help, he came back with these huge things with a loop at each end........I had never seen anything like it before.....or since, no sticky strip!!!!!! never asked him again lol

I used terry nappies with a muslim cloth hated washing them though,

Thanks for the advice on the cake, I have it well wrapped in foil.......I did have a square box (honest) that the jacobs crackers came in but I must have chucked it in the house move now I can't find one anywhere, mmmm I love marzipan

sorry I should say good afternoon I didnt get up till 7.45 I woke with a start looked at the clock and thought I've overslepted what a nice feeling..

very overcast here this morning in Surrey looks like rain. I hope not I have to walk across to the Doctors to get my blood test done at 10.30

I fold my clothers and hang them over a chair at night with my two spare pillows on the chair as well. this morning I shook my clothes because there are a lot of spiders around and one fell onto the pillow .
I then shook the pilows before I placed them back onto the bed giveing them a hard shake and the spider fell out of the inside cover a great big one. I might have slept with that tonight. .

I've got an appointment at the dentist this morning so got to go soon. Got hubby off work as well, he's coming with me.

Marilyn, the things I put inside my babies nappies were called nappy liners, they stopped most of the dirt from going on the nappy, made them easier to wash.

My appointment was for 10.25 but Michalle was running a little late, when she popped her head out and said Rita your next then she said I have a trainee here today you can let her do it or say no it is up to you,

I sat down and the women started putting the band on my arm and then asked me if she could do it. ? I said if you dont mind I would rather Michalle did it as I bleed badly and bruise. so she said thats fine Michaelle did it and I told the women sorry I didnt mean to be inkind but next time I come you can do it you will have had more experience then, you should have heard them laugh I think the people in the waiting room heard them,
I made an appointment for my flu jab for 9th October. now I wait and see if my blood has made a recovery

GG you probally know this but dont keep you cake in the fridge as it will sweat unless tightly wrapped. but it will keep for a long while in the tin foil.

have you thought of asking in a shop where they sell biscuits if they have any spare square tins they can give you.

Hi I'm back...

I had another NEW hearing aid, state of the ark, they seem to be throwing these new hearing aids at me..LOL
I 'm sure its because the Chemo I had made my left hearing worse, as that is what they said would happen.
This new one I can use an Ipod just a little connection in it to enable me to get my music, that I have missed when traveling.

So I'm all fixed and wired up...!! LOL
People don't realize that I wear one its that good and so is the other one !

Rita I dont blame you about the needle saga ....I had a nurse tried 3 times when I had my Chemo, and although she was middle aged I had no faith in her the first time, somehow she was awkward doing it, so I had to stop her the 3rd time, and she went and got another nurse that did it first
time !!!
Funny that but I was not in the mood for needles not being inserted properly as I was being treated with cancer and on other drugs and felt awful.
I felt sorry to the nurse that couldn't get that needle in me. they all have to start somewhere........but not me ..!!LOL

So are you all glad that I told you about Olly.....he's lovely.perfect lips LOL

his got a new name now lol

i now call him pongo cos i away seem to change the smelly nappyis

In Norfolk I could pick people speaking in airfield nearby listened into the police broadcasting from there cars naughty I know but it wasnt my fault I picked it up.

I had a good laugh at some of the things.
