Yes, Mamiddau, isnt it strange how messes have a habit of replicating themselves as soon as our backs are turned?

Morning all... I am fizzing today... I have had a couple of not too good days... but I think that is over, and the prednisilone will help... it made me a bit hyper the first time I had it, lol... I am still a little bit sore, but nowhere near as bad, and I had 7 hours straight sleep... yummy!!

The layout still looks good this morning... I have some technical questions to ask, Ann, so I'll pop over to the other thread in a mo, lol

Mamiddau and BC.... I am not even going to ask!!... Go on then... do tell, who is Omar and what has he done/happened to him??? That is a bit like hearing a bit of a conversation in a bus queue, and not getting the full facts, lol.

I have had washing in the machine, and the dishwasher running (too sore to empty and refill last night) since 7am.... poor R, I forget it alters the shower pressure, lolol Oops! The weather looks good, so I shall be able to get it out on the line for a good blow... the washing, that is, not the dishes!!

Chicken casserole is in the slow cooker... just need to sort out my creeping rugs cos the bits came last week and I haven't got around to cleaning the backs of the rugs to fit the grippers on..... takes me all my time to swear at the top of the rugs, leave alone the underneath bits, lolol

And then the day is my own... I hope to finish off at least one page..... and do a bit of googling... anyone know what the lifespan of suntan lotion is??? I have found half a dozen bottles tucked away in the bathroom cupboard, and they must all be at least 4 years old.... some are unopened, as I left them at home when we travelled, and I had to buy some more when we were out there.

Ann, have your gums eased off yet? Mine is still a bit sore where the injection went in, and I haven't really got used to having the crown there.... chewing feels very strange on that side, as though I am chewing with a tooth that isn't actually there, if that makes sense, lolol.... You sound as though you had a busy day yesterday.... I have never made chutney... was that from the home grown tomatoes? Good luck today, as well..... thinking of you.

BC.... hope you are feeling more energetic today.... but if you're not, don't worry... just curl up on the soafa (sofa, even... told you I was fizzing... my keyboard has caught it, lol) and watch the telly, or read a book... preferably with a big box of chocolates..... (((((((((hugs)))))))))

~~~~~~~~~ to everyone... I am off to ask my technical questions and see what everyone has been up to... the washing machine is on it's final spin, so then I shall have 10 minutes in the garden with a cuppa once I have hung it out... I might take my camera.. Jethro loves the empty basket, and plays with any left over pegs... I try to make sure there are some left in there when I am done, as he is sooooo funny to watch... Pol and I just crease up... well, she would, if she wasn't such an elegant cat... but she lets me do it for her, cos elegance is sooooo not my style, lol
Daff....Omar is THE best bad guy.....! he got ......*sniff*.....and now....*wails*.....am just too traumatised!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mum gave me a cutting of her honeysuckle, to plant along the fence where the bins are stashed etc, cos it smells so lovely....the ground has been so wet, I haven't dared plant it out, its still in its pot, and has gone HUGE!!!!! hopefully we'll have a few more days of this, the ground won't be quite so bog like, and I won't give the poor thing too much of a shock! H has actually gone to school without her big waterproof on, jsut her little one in her bag today! yay!
Hello all, late checking in today, sorry, trying to get ahead of the packing and keeping busy to keep my mind off hospital appointment later. Done a load of washing, changed our bed, had to clean ot round the washing machine door seal as it was leaving more dirt on things than they went in with. then we walked round for the papers, forgot to take a packet I wanted to post, wrapped a parcel for my great niece to be sent when we come back off holiday as my sister is also away next week, went round to the garden centre, now Evergreen daff, was Hurrans, for coffee.
Charged camera battery, and charging notebook and running anti virus on it.
Yes, tomatoes and apples were ours, have to use them up or else they will rot.
Off to other thread to check queries now.
Well, that got that over with which was a bit unexpected!!!
Went to my appointment and he removed the 'thing' there and then so sore now, 5 deep stitches, 5 surface + sterri strips. Visit nurse at surgery in 10-14 days to have stitches removed and back to hospital in 3 months. Shoulder and arm quite sore now but we walked (slowly) into town from hospital and had curry at Weatherspoons afterwards. It was still numb then, We went in on the bus as it is easier than parking. At least I didn't have time to think about it. Same dermatologist I saw last time and he is sure it was another rodent ulcer.
Good in a way as it is not hanging over me but a bit difficult not to overdo lifting with packing etc. Luckily it is on the left side. He said to visit a local GP if i think the scar is infected. He did give me the option of having it done or not. If I had been going to Tenerife I would have delayed it I think but Dorset is fine.
Awww Ann, I am so sorry I didnt know you were going to have that done and hope you are not too uncomfortable. On the other hand it's better to have it all over and done with. I have a thingy on my face which I am waiting to have zapped....*sighs....must be old age. In MY case of course,not yours:-) lol BCXX
My case too I guess BC, reaping the 'rewards' of not knowing about the damage the sun can do to your skin and no sun cream when we were young. It didn't hurt at all being done, well the injection was a bit sore but no worse than the dentist and the actual getting rid of it was fine. The worst bit is caring for it now until the stitches come out as it is right where my bra strap goes. He did ask if my holiday was an 'energetic' one. I just looked at him in amazement!!!!
Morning all.... early this morning... am off to see the plumbing doc soon... just popped in to see how Ann is.... ouch, that sounds so sore.... but at least all that worrying is over in one go, and I know how worried you get! Just relax.... you can always buy what you need when you get to Dorset.... an excuse for a not so energetic shopping trip, lol! (((((((hugs)))))))
BC... you need to go and get it sorted..... would you like me to nag you? I need the practice now, you see, with son no 1 coming home to roost, lol
Aww bless him, Maz... one of mine had bandaged and plastered leg for 6 months... she had gangrene... and it is amazing how she got around with it and an elizabethan collar on!! We have a three-legged cat visit us at least three times a day... she is amazing... we call her Peg, but have now found out that her name is Jess.... Jess is not right for her... she is a beautiful tortoiseshell... so Peg she stays, in this house... I know a beautiful person called Peg, you see. ~~~~~~~~~~ in case she is looking in!!
Right... need to go and race R for the shower.... seeing as how he had an extra half hour in bed while I ironed his shirt, made his lunch, his morning coffee and fed his cats, lolol
See you all later.
Good morning Daff and good luck with the Plumber:-) Hope you are not so sore this morning Ann, and that you enjloy your holiday. A lovely time to go away, I think. And Get Well soon to the lively Gizmo!
After my slothful day the other day and listening to how busy everyone is, I pulled myself together and washed curtains, got Bunny the lovely window cleaner to come and add sparkle, and even cleaned the hall carpet on my hands and knees!! Was so proud I treated a patch of carpet which a student had spilled bleach on, with a tea bag! *proud...I read about that on Google.so am having a domestic goddess meltdown now so will rest a bit:-)...
Hope everyone has a good day. BCXXX
Good morning all, lovely sunny day here, makes it difficult to pack as I want to pack all summer clothes but we know how the weather can change in September, will have to be a mixture.
Shoulder still sore and I didn't sleep well because I couldn't lie on that side. Never mind it wont last.
BC, you have been busy. Maz, Gizmo is doing well so far I am sure he will manage whatever the outcome.
Daff, good luck with the 'plumbers' today.
Way Hay!! All clear... and not even the lichen thingy they thought it might be.... no treatment required... it is just pigmentation, and has probably been there all or most of my life.. looks like a birthmark, it seems! Everything else is from the chemo and will ease in time, if it doesn't, go back to GP...... so I am now off out to have my breakfast... couldn't eat any earlier, lol!! I am going to have the full works, including black pudding and two eggs, lolol
Phew... that's a huge relief, then!!
See you all later.... BC... I think you deserve a slouch on the sofa with a box of choccies!! And Ann.... buy it as you need it!!
Well done Daff, great news, suppose you will have to take their word for it that it looks like a birth mark!!!!
Can't leave the food until we need it as not many supermarkets in the area, can't even remember where there was one.
