Well done for making the appointment Daff. Just got back from town, had to take a cheque in, well OH did. Long queue at the bank. OH taken under the wing of a friendly assistant who 'took' him to the paying in machine. I did point out it was probably because he was looking old and bewildered not because she fancied him Lol!!!! More long queues at the post office where I needed to post of a photo to N Zealand, a large one. Remember the last flea fair when I 'saved' a group photo from extinction? Somebody has just come forward with a rellie in the photo which was published in Practical Family History.

Well... got back home about an hour ago... went to Homebase, bought some lovely Autumn 'mums..... it chucked it down with rain, and thundered and lighteninged on me, lol... so I went to my mum's for some lunch... I stopped off and bought some salmon and some ready to chuck in the oven new potatoes.... lovely!! Then went to my sister, had a couple of cuppas and a good old gossip..... played with the dogs for a while, and then came home.... not a lot done, lol!!

R will be home soon.... I have a Navarone of Lamb (posh name for lamb and tomato casserole, lol) that I made yesterday re-heating in the oven.. so he will be happy, as it is one of his favourites... Not a lot accomplished other than that, but a pleasant day.

R left me a booklet to look at... it has details of all the college courses available... our local college is beginning to do classes we would traditionally expect in the evening... in the morning (does that make sense??) so I am going to have a look at that later.

Must go... Lord Hunter Gatherer has returned from a hard day chasing dinosaurs, lolol!!

morning all Gizmo is at the vets today getting his splint redone and checked so i am going to do some chores before he gets back which will be later as no-one mentioned starve him for sedation LOL,
my rosemary was already rooting in the ground the pot had split so i have cut the pot off and pruned it back into shape built the soil up around it see what happens

Good idea Maz, you wont have to disturb it then, should be fine.

Mamiddau it sounds like you could do with putting your feet up in a quiet room, and watching The Wire. I am still pre-recording it as it is on so late at night. Omar for President! Yo!! lol

Hope Gizmo gets better real soon,Maz and hello to Ann:-) I am trying to get motivated to join an evening class but have left it a bit late I think. Either line dancing for the over 60s or something about architecture or maybe another writing course.....so many courses, so little time! lol

well this is a treat chores finished painted the steps ,i am back on a cleaning shift tomorrow kids back monday .i am moving to another kitchen so i am changing my hours and role but less stress .i am supporting a new manager .
any way am going to do some admin until gizmo is collected later

Good luck Daff with your solicitor, nothing worse than disputes etc with neighbours, we have a very strange one, who l have spoken to now since his hysterics some months ago, l won't do it too often though!!!
Back from Derbyshire yesterday afternoon and off't again in the morning:o))
Have just ordered a new suite....green leather, never had leather before and certainly not green especially this colour green!!!! lol its gorgeous:o)

I am home... called into Asda on the way back... and am now reunited with my bank card, lolol!! What a huge relief..... I was a bit worried, to say the least, but all's well that ends well, lol Good thing R was near, and could get that cash for me, lol... how embarrassing!

Well, I have had a lovely day with Ann, thank you so much..... no, I am not too exhausted, but I am very glad I didn't drive, as the drive back was pretty grim, weatherwise.... and I was just able to relax and be chaufferred, (sp) lol!

Aw BC, poor dog... my German Shepherd hated getting wet.. the Lab loved it and always searched out the biggest puddles.

Well... off to chuck some dinner on for R.... I have some chicken casserole in the freezer, and some new potatoes and fresh green beans... ..... so no effort. I am not hungry yet, so will have some soup later on..... had a lovely lunch out, so am still well stuffed, lol.

BC Lol!!! Oh Yessss! Daff was sooo quiet!!

Daff, glad you found the card, and as I said it wasn't you who left it was it? Lucky somebody was honest and took it in from the pump!!! Well it saves me going to the cash machine this week now!!!! Glad you were not driving then if the weather was foul, I hate motorways in the rain!!
