Morning everyone.... well, it looks lovely out there..... I poked my nose outside the door to call Jethro in... hubby was having difficulty prising him out of the car... I think Jethro thought it was *bring your mog to work* day, lolol Anyway, a little bit of sandwich beef wafted in the air did the trick, and oh was able to leave minus cat.... and I got a quick waft of the outdoors.

Yesterday went very well.... solicitor says she will send a letter once my son is back... she wants me to have someone with me just in case this neighbour kicks off... that has been the way of it in the past, so I am prepared for that.

The GP visit was quite strange.... I hadn't realised how nervous of that I was!! I needn't have worried... he is taking me seriously. I am now on prednisilone... he phoned my Top Doctor Man and discussed my blood results from a rheumatology point of view, with me sat there like a plank, lol... well, the main issue is that GP is now certain that there is an auto immune/inflammatory problem going on....... just the fact that they have acknowledged that the pain is for real, and not all in my head is a huge relief, I can tell you!! I watched the referral to the Rheumatologist go off, lol.... My word isn't technology wonderful? I feel so much better..

Did I tell you I lost my car, yesterday? Well I am truly pooped today cos I walked miles trying to find it... I parked in a place I knew (I used to work there, all knocked down now to make way for the car parks, lol) anyway... off I toddled, thinking I would be able to cut through this place, through that place, wander through the market and out the other side... well...... no way, Hosay, lol...... they have got it all blocked off, millions of builders wandering around (it was teabreak time, lol) and no signs to tell you which way you were heading. I had walked about 20 minutes, totally disorientated, and ended up about, about 3 minutes away from my car....... I had probably gone around in circles. I still had a 10 minute walk to the solicitor from there... and got there with a minute to spare.

Decided to walk back a different way... no-one told me that all that area has changed, too.... I ended up walking another hour, almost... and then because I had come out at a different place, didn't recognise which carpark... I had to wander around the carparks looking for my car... I was so knackered you wouldn't believe. Good thing I have a bright and distinctive car... eventually the nice man in one of the car parks did a scan for me, and voila... there I was!!

I am dreadful for misplacing things.... but to lose my car??? Mind you, it isn't the first time...... I have done that a few times before, but this time I had even misplaced the carpark itself. I am going to get a taxi next time I go into Cardiff!

Right... off back to bed for an hour....... I am still knackered from all that walking... *points to blistered heel* and my foot is sore, too, lolol

Loadsa love

Morning all!

Daff - hope you are not overdoing it again! xxx

Jude - how could I not remember, you have a lovely husband!!!! am glad your grandaughter was ok, even if her mum wasn't! bless her - boys are horrible.....O is going to be that kind of boy, he's not mean to others, just full of mischief, and busy! apparently in nursery my two both stick up for the "underdog", and H yesterday prevented a fight between two of the reception kids in her class by helping them share! makes me proud of them, then they behave like total monsters at home, and I wonder if they're talking about the same children! lol!

hope everyone else is ok, its lovely here, I actually have washing on the line, rather than over every radiator, although I thought I was going to sink walking over the lawn - its awful out there.....!

Daff -we were clearly posting at the same time! or at least I was trying too, it doesn't like me again today!!!

thats overdoing it!!!!!

I lost my car in cardiff once too.....I parked in the civic centre to go to the stadium for a wales match (football) and thought i'd parked by the museum.....i hadn't, and walked round and round the civic centre, for over an hour......! OH had gone with friends, and I went straight from work, so him and our friend D were supposed to come back with me....they have never let me live it down.....! and now i've told you all too.....! doh!

easily done! take it easy today....thats an order! xxxxx

Mamiddau I am still in shock over The Wire...how could they DO that! Will say no more in case you havent watched it...but tsk tsk....

Right, I am now going to do things...I really am. Anyone else watch those old series like Lace in the afternoons? hmmm

MrDaff

MrDaff Report 9 Sep 2009 19:20

I have done very little today, lol... well, let's qualify that sweeping statement, lolol.... I have done stuff wot makes a lot of mess, lol... I have been trying to do a couple of scrapbooking pages.... and bit by bit gone off the ideas I have... but found some really garish paper.... but the flowers and butterflies were perfect.. cut them out, then scanned them, and then printed them... they look good, but my finger is sore from cutting them out... made a bit of a mess with the cutting tool thingy... anyway... I didn't have any ribbons in the right colour... so cut loads of strips of wavy border out of card that co-ordinates... and I have loved the effect.... I haven't glued anything yet, though... that might be very interesting, to say the least

Right..... only popped in quickly... I have to go and do something spectacular in the kitchen in the next 20 minutes.... A bomb might be a good idea, it is in such a state, lol

See you later

Love

I usually use scissors to cut Daff, can't get on with other tool thingys!!

I have had a quite busy day. made tomato chutney, did a load of washing and dried it outside in the glorious sunshine, did half an hours gardening in the front garden, changed the spare bed, including the mattress cover, wrote a long letter to penfriends (snail mail), cooked salmon and new potatoes and sweet corn for dinner. Also managed to sit out in the garden to read the paper.
