Hi Daff and all

so pleased to read about your good news. Not having such a good day myself today after a lovely day spent with brother wife and neice yesterday. My OA is really playing up just knew we would be having rain today and heavy short showers they were.

Hope things continue to look up for you

Right.... cot, pink material and toddler bed now gone, lol.... I love this!!

~~~~~~~~ waves to Ann.... is it clear your way now? We just had a humungous storm... sun is out again now, but black clouds are looming again, lol....... did you have a wonderful time? Did he enjoy his prezzie?
Hi Maz...... what is your larger job? I don't have to paint... well, the garage door, but that has been dented for about 10 years, so I expect we shall replace it eventually... it is blue, and I don't really do blue... although I did wear blue at my party.... unusual for me.....
BC, your poor little pooch.... fancy her having to go and look for another doggie that had legged it, when that is one of her favourite pastimes..... and so soon after being abandoned, as well, lol ;¬))
Hiya Star... yep, my achey bits have been a bit of a bother today, too..... glad you enjoyed your day yesterday, though!
Love
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Daff, dry at the moment but heavy clouds coming this way again and hanging baskets look really poorly now!!!

We had a lovely time. C was really pleased with the album, he is quite a quiet fellow but he sat on the floor and kept showing his brothers photos and having a chuckle over some, then trying to remember where others were taken. When he had gone all through it he just looked at me, smiled and said"thanks" that, to me showed me he was pleased, man of few words he is with a beautiful smile. Mum and Dad liked it too and next brother said expectantly, 'I suppose I'll get one now'. that gives me 17 months to do one for him!!

We had a very nice evening yesterday, we went to a small restaurant in Winchester called Ghurka Chef, C booked it himself as it was his choice. The food was great, leaning towards Indian but also with a touch of Thai (Nepalise). It was lovely being in the company of these three very grown up young men. The youngest made the adults chuckle but also surprised us, he is 17 and has not been known for being particularly mature and sensible or quiet, but he was very adult and when the waiter approached to take the order he just said very maturely, 'Could you give us five more minutes please?' Anyway it was great, and today we were all together again for a lunch time barbecue. I suppose it is valued all the more because we see so littl of them.

hello I have a pile of rubbish yhat has been rubble and compost so I am going to sort it out during the holidays we now have garden wheelie bins so there is no need for it now .so it all needs sorting out the lumps of concrete and bricks can make an edge to make a bed for something .

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 6 Jul 2009 08:45

It will be nice to be able to make a new garden Maz. We have garden wheelie bins and find ours very useful. However we also have two com[post bins which this year gave us fantastic compost and saved us quite a bit of money on compost for all our tubs.

Good morning all, sunny here at the moment, garden is still soggy from yesterday though OH has a golf match so that is him away for most of the day so that gives me time to play, after doing the washing of course.
birthday cards are all up to date so maybe I will do a scrapbook page, or read, or play on here (although there don't seem to be many people to play with lately), well, the world is my oyster. I suppose i could always do some of the 'H' stuff!!

Fed up now, just got washing out of the machine and, from somewhere the door had dirt on it which has transferred to a lot of the washing which now has to be done again!!!!
