Star, enjoy Les Mis, if you haven't seen it before it is wonderful, but if you haven't seen it before try and lash out on a programme and read what the story is, I found it a bit confusing the first time I saw it, still loved the music though. (Take some tissues)

Morning Daff, morning Maz....Just popping on to wish you well today at the clinic, Daff.. Don't forget we are all walking beside you:-)

The case of the Lone Mouse has now turned in to a visit from the Heavy Rat Patrol!! they visited yesterday, could find no evidence of anything untoward but proceeded to seal any inviting hole (behind washing machine, cooker, etc) and have laid three mighty ugly black traps in my patio. *sobs...should have kept my trap shut...lol..

My nice student leaves today, she has been a joy to have around but it's always nice when they go..I don;t have to clear up all the time....

Happy Friday.

Morning all! long time no post!

Been reading back, and it's taken ages..............................

Good luck at the Clinic today Daff - will be thinking of you - you can do it now love on your own...............you is getting betterer and betterer every day.

Sorry to hear of your rodent problem BC - I should send you next doors moggies!!! since our Jackson's sad demise the little perishers are all over our garden - lol - and, as a present for Aunty for feeding them whilst their owners were away, most days I find a mousie on my doormat. Field mice only so far and I'm not quite sure which of the twins catches and delivers the poor things, but the fields round and about must be rodent-free judging by the numbers that arrive!

Hope everyone else is well and not overdoing things! I'm a great believer in not "overdoing" things - so much so, that I do squat all most of the time! )))

Bi for now - take care all.

BC...gawd do hope you sort you rodent prob out:!!

we feed the birds so we have rat probs everynow and then, the cat used to sort the mice but as with Jac, no cat now:o(((( as soon as we see holes we block them up and get the pest control man in. The river is'nt far from us so they probably come from there.

Sorry I didn't pop on before I went... I was awake half the night wittering, lol... then overslept, so had to make a mad rush....

My bloods were brilliant!! Haemoglobin 14 (he quipped that if it went up much more they'd have to bleed me, lol) Neutrophils (Bug busters, my immune system, basically) a massive... 2.74 (the range is 2 to 8, I was 1.2 last time, so that is really good) I was stuck below 0.5 for ages!!

The platelets (blood clotters) were up to 101..... they should be between 150 to 400... so still a little way to go... they were 70 last time... 50 the time before .. so still a steady improvement. Especially when you realise that they were once 0.01

Thank you all for wishing me well... BC, I imagined you sat next to me, (on the left ;¬)) singing little sea shanties to entertain me, wmsl

Would you like to borrow Hermie? He looks all cute and cuddly, sort of like Davy Crockets hat, and is a bit of a mammie's boy... but he is a real tiger at heart, and is the main catcher of vermin in this house... even caught a bat on the wing... the bat was on the wing, not the cat, lol

Jac... I told you they would move in with you!! lolol

Star, have a wonderful birthday weekend.... and have a lovely birthday, whenever it is!

~~~~~~~~ to Jude... giss us a chip!! lol.... I have just had poached egg on toast... I was too het up to eat before I went. Enjoy your day out, xxx
Thank you Mau xxx
Thank you Ann..... have a lovely weekend, and *see* you when you get back xxxxxx
~~~~~~~ to Maz

Yesterday I had a lovely day out... bought loads... but now need to take some of it back, as I don't like it all on. But I have got loads of those M & S vests, with long sleeves, short sleeves, no lace, a bit of lace, strappy, etc, but all have a longer length to them, so are more comfortable than those that stob just above the belly button, lol Some of them are in such lovely colours, the could be worn as tops on their own, but I have mainly bought them to wear with jumpes etc.

Had lunch in Tescos, Culverhouse Cross... not all that impressed, beut the company was good.

Off now to grab a nap........ I won't last til bed time, otherwise, lol

Love

Daff xxxx

Hi All, managed to get on, brought my notebook with me but had to wait for the Wifi code until eldest Grandson was in the land of the living, he was up unti 4am doing something.

Well done Daff, so pleased for you, and there's a big girl coping on your own Well done for that too. I did think and fret about you yesterday.

Just been to the very large M&S superstore at Hedge End, could have spent pounds, so many lovely colours. Did buy a black skirt and a reduced mauvy coloured top and a pair of \315 black boot, I already have the light brown ones and theya re comfortable, this was the third M&S I looked in for a size 5 and they had one pair left.

Afternoon everyone... well, my grin was ginormous *demonstrates* see?

Thank you very much, every one of you... I didn't get a smiley face for being a brave girl, though... had to make my own .... *demonstrates again*

I went to bed for an hour yesterday afternoon... and woke up to a lovely surprise... half a dozen sneezes, and there I was.... R has infected me with his cold..... how very dare he... and it wasn't mine that infected him, after all... I said it was different, lol

Anyway... felt grim this morning, and knew my sinuses were affected... phoned NHS direct... who said I have to speak to GP.. phoned out of hours service... eventually, about 4 hours later I spoke to a doctor.... he said that I was to watch my temperature... if it went up, I was to go to A & E... but otherwise, just take fluids etc..... to give me antibiotics now would increase the risk of the C Diff returning.... so he didn't want me to take that chance if my sinuses clear on their own... but I must watch out for the temperature... so now R is going around with the thermometer permanently attached to his hand.

Actually, I have the correct antibiotics already here...... so I could have just gone ahead and taken them.. I also have very powerful antiviral... and anti fungal... but obviously wouldn't take them without GP's say so...

I am off to bed for a nap fairly soon... I have made two big pots of soup, just in case I don't feel like cooking over the next couple of days.... oxtail and spicy ham and lentil

Taff, thanks for letting us know... it is a family name (spelt a little differently) so I would be interested to watch that.

I am off for a bit to climb under a duvet, lol See you all later.

Love and ((((hugs)))))
