Really enjoyed Pompei last night, those poor people, what a dreadful death, and the pre natal baby, so SAD !! learning about how these people lived their every day lives was fascinating, so much so that I managed not to go to sleep!! Dyson man due in 1/2 hour. He rang this morning, but isn't sure if he has another motor, as deliveries are way behind at the Post Office!! doesn't sound hopeful!!! Car ready for collection, so will do that this pm. Lovely day here, calm before the storm?!!!

Hi everyone guess I have given up on this web site I could not go any further than 330 twice.
I tried very hard to get on aol and no luck so I am going on what I have read last night. THANK YOU Fiona for the christmas tree card arrived this morning a lovely card. I am glad everyones had my cards now and enjoyed them .Customers and friends have been ringing saying you went all glittery this year that was April glitter and fairies she said when giving me a helping hand to make about 47 cards. Husband said when did you make all those he was in everyday and that is what I was doing most evenings he did not notice men!!
I went to the city of Brum today to the hedgehog that being where Jane wanted her perfume from off Fritz.. I drove half way and then took the bus the traffic was dreadful. No carol singers just men playing tom toms. I used to like in the old days the baked potatoes cooked on hot ashes and carol singers .Now it all geared up for the foreigners.
People teach how to avoid Diabectic 2 but I think some doctors should take lessons according to another doctor I was suffering a bad effect to that tablet I took and my glucose level was right down before I took that tablet.I am now on a slow releash tablet 25mils. I feel a lot better but shakey still.I had toxic poisoning .
Shirl that fire was nasty reminded me of my episode gosh will be very careful thanks for that . That ladies face was awful.
Sophia made it up about her broken elbow and a fall to go shopping and is not working at the moment silly lady .Why not ask for the time off. Beryls got Donnie back running around after her. He was love sick she said.I chose not to comment . He was out of money I think they went Christmas shopping and he came back with all kinds of things for himself guess who paid. Not Donnie.
I hope the Secret Garden will be nice I have seen the film.It is about a girl who goes to live with her uncle after living in India and the uncles son is in bed unable to walk. There is a garden but the uncles wife died there and its shut up.The children find the key and do the garden up and they make the little boy get up and go there. I cannot amagine it with music but lets hope April likes it!!! .Such a tantrum over the ballet and she wanted to go in the first place .
My christmas tree will come early from Scotland due to the expected bad weather. Jessy and April are arriving Friday until after Xmas with uncle Brin and Ryan and his friend a guy from New York called Beanie I do not know why he may have a bean stuck out of his head with the funny people I have met just lately. I went to the doctors yesterday and a little man about 4ft came in and could not get on the chair and he asked me to sit him on it. Then a dog outside got to excited with another dog and had a accident with his bit and I had to phone the vet gosh that was a site but all was well later.the dog ran off happy and meanwhile I was having a hot flush with panic the vet lady thought it very funny she did not see the object.
Must go ,does anyone remember Fuzzie Felts I have just been given twelve boxes to sort out for the shop they are all mixed up some job for me later but for now I am off to lunch with Beryl the Peril will count her moans and say nothing lol.It is Chinese but no toffee banana for me Beryl will have to eat the lot herself if she insists on having it It is a pain having a diabetic problem me who was very careful but I was told my dad had it and it is old age .Life is a bind sometimes and cannot wait for the end of this year still next year could be worse. have a nice day everyone.

Oh Sheila so Donnie is back with Beryl the Peril!!
Your life sounds very interesting up there in Brum. Nothing ever seems to happen down here in Devon or we don't see it living behind this high wall.
Hope your feeling a bit better now .

1.55pm. Found this the other day. Originally from a church.
Dear Lord, So far today, I am doing alright.
I have not gossiped, lost my temper, been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or self indulgent. I have not whined, complained, cursed or eaten any chocolate.
I have charged nothing to my cedit card.
But I will be getting out of bed in a minute, and think that I will really need your help then. Amen

Well, Dysonman came, and it appears that he crimped two wires reassembling it on Monday and that blew the panel that controls the turbo!! Sadly he didn't have another 'panel', no deliveries, Xmas post I daresay?!! SO, when a 'panel' appears he will be back to fix it?!! Office at Minehead will ring or e-mail!! I suppose we should have been cross, but what good would that have done, he's a nice young man, very apologetic, and it is Christmas!!! Luckily I have got an ancient Vax, so will have to manage with that. Collected car without incident you'll be pleased, and surprised to hear! (I was!!) and did some shopping in lui of bad weather. OH gone to South Molton for a large bag of salt, (OH tends to be a bit doomful, and meets trouble half way!) which I'm sure could be useful. You're right about small horses, bit like dogs!!! very dark here now, doomful, you could say, OH will be proved right and be triumphant!!!!

You are far too kind hearted Liz, I would have requested a new Dyson, If he said NO. that when I would have DEMANDED ONE. How long have you had it ???
Shirl, I see from our news that there is some rough weather in Canada/America. What you get normally ends up here. !!! I just looked out the back and the sky is BLACK and it's not just because it's getting dark. We are in for something. I can feel it in my water.!!! Have taken a photo, also of the Christmas tree, and the lights outside. Now I have to see if I can send them.
How did the film go today then MISS MOVIE , Hope you two wern't holding hands, in the back row. I'll start some rumours. I know a lot of people in Kettering !!!! lol lol
Just heard from my niece she's 63. and lives in Harlow, Essex. She tells me my elder brother has recently been made "MAYOR OF WARE" go a ring to it somehow. !!!
Roast Chicken tonight, Roast pots, in GOOSE FAT> lovely and crispy. with four veg. I do like my veg. Will have to get Mel to send me some up. Shop/supermarker nowhere as good as fresh
They aren't back from shopping yet. Better leave putting on the chicken for another half hour, then put it on low. You never know when these woman will be back.

ello ello ello !. What a miserable day it has been.It was nice to be in the cinema for a couple of hours. The film was good and quite funny. Popped into Tes** afterwards and got a nice plump chicken to roast.I have a Sticky Lemon,Garlic and Herb Rub to put on it about 15 minutes before it finishes cooking. It sounds nice ,so hope it tastes good.
Goodness Sheila life is never dull in your neck of the woods is it lol I hope you are sorted with your medication now. That sounded nasty. I hope your family get to you safely for Xmas.Who looks after all the animals when they are away?
Liz,I think I would have been the same as you with the Dyson man.I never get angry with people (well not really angry). The only time I really lost it with someone was with (most of you know his) a Postman a few years ago after I discovered he had done a wee against the wall of my house.I chased down the road and made him come back and swill it down with a bucket of hot water and Dettol lol.I still Bristle now when I think what a Bl***y cheek he had.
It is just about time for Come Dine With Me so BBIAW.

Just cleaned the big girls out before it was dark. Have swopped them into the small chicken house as there are only 12 left now. Thought it would be cosier for them in a smaller house if we are going to get arctic conditions again!!
While I was doing the nest boxes I heard a flutter past my ear and looked rpound to see a robin on the ground. I popped my hand into the top pocket of my old coat and got out some sunflower kernals and chopped peanuts and fat sticks, held out my hand and he came to me and sat on my hand eating about 7 pieces. After that I closed up the nest boxes and put the perches back up and closed the door and a couple of the chickens went in the clean house. When I looked for the others they were queing at the closed door of the bigger house. Could I chase them up to the smaller house..............no they just went back to the big house. Then I started to catch them and put them in the little house through the pop hole. Some stayed in and some came back out. Anyway after a while I got them all safely tucked away and as I turned round, by which time it was getting a little dark there was another flutter. Yes he had come back to me for seconds and he sat on my hand for quite a long while again.
Also I had my old red hat on which OH had told me not to wear as Robins don't like the colour red. So that just proves that my Robin dos'nt mind red and perhaps he did'nt know me in a white one!!
I am as pleased as punch he is coming to my hand again.

Well Jake's little play in the church was good ,all the children were dressed by their mums ,Jake was one of the twinkling stars ,the angels were covered in the tinsel and the shepherds had the usual tea towels on there heads lol They sang eleven songs which is a lot for little ones to learn ,one of the microphones packed up towards the end ,but they all carried on ,and got huge applause at the end , well done all the teachers .
Had my tooth filled and a clean up ,but my tooth now feels a bit achey ,but she did say it was a deep filling ,so i suppose it will settle down.
Frank ,the photo of your sleigh looks lovely, did you say you had taken one of your tree?
I liked the prayer Mel,how lovely to have the Robin eating out of your hand ,we'll have to call you the bird lady!!
Liz , good job you have another hover to use, otherwise it would be back to the old dustpan and brush !!!
Lets hope we don't get to much snow ,we've had rain again today .
