Afternoon Daffers and all!

Just a quick one to wish you all the best for tomorrow - let's hope the needle thingy dont hurt too much and that you are up and about in no time at all.

Frantic here at the moment what with one thing and another and OH and I are "official wedding photographers" on Saturday for cousin's lad's wedding and as yet OH doesnt know how to work his new camera!!! I see tears on the horizon.

Have a good practice with it Jac, When daughter got married to her first husband a friend of mine offered to take the photos. I had seen photos she had taken and they were good, but she turned up with a new flash on her camera which she hadn't practiced with and all the indoor photos were a write off which, as it was a wet day and most of the photos were inside was a shame. Also she used cheap film which has gone off colour over time. No problem in this case as they are divorced but could be a tragedy.

Evening all... still no call from the hospital..... but that is ok, I haven't had my dinner or packed a case yet, lol!!

I waited 58 minutes for a programme to download... and then it told me that I wasn't legitimate, cheeky beggars... this was for the 30 day trial of the posh thingy that you hope to have for your birthday, Ann!! So I have been playing with shoe boxes and sticky things again...

R nipped across the road and got me some prawns and custard tart (not all together, you understand) to help me on my way... custard tart disintegrated all over my lovely clean keyboard... so I have had a good shake of that to clean it up again....

My fingers only stuck once... I don't know that me and glue dots are actually a very good combination........ and all my goodies are beginning to become organised again... 8 bags of stuff, two boxes and a big picture which refused to fit into anything, were collected by the Shaw Trust this morning... and all the space I made has now been filled up with all the bits and pieces dotted all over the place, gathered together in my craft/pc/sewing area... ie the conservatory, lolol It is supposed to be the dining room as well... but you know how other stuff has to take a priority!!

Jude, I hope all goes well at the GP... that is a lot of colds you are having!! How miserable in this hot weather, as well... bad enough in the winter, but it always seems so much worse in the summer, somehow.........

BC... Oh dear, I hope you are ok? Now please, stop worrying about the speech... all they need to know is that you love them, are having a wonderful time, and that you wish them all of life's wonderful blessings, as they have been a blessing to you... never to lose the love and wonder of this very moment, on this beautiful day, surrounded by those you love and who love you, in this idyllic setting..... or words to that effect. Easy peasy... and if you can say it in Gaelic as well..... wonderful!! Wouldn't sound so good in Mandarin or in Swahili... oh, and R has just reminded me that we have Zulu there as well, lololol

I just had the phone call... I need to be there by about 7, so plenty of time, lol.... I may not be back on line until Thursday.....

Ah bless, she is in the hospital now, bet she is a bit nervous too. Hope R has been able to stay with her for a while.

Just popping in to wish Daff good luck today and hoping all goes well .. Grey day here, but warm and humid again. Have to take doggie (who is much improved btw) to her.. *cough..hotel for a few days and then later I will be meeting our Mau and she will join me and others on our trip to Ireland tomorrow. She will help me stick diamonds and sequins on a pair of sandals tonight! lol
