Morning Daff so glad you're okay,even if your washing machine wasn't........laughing here at the scene you describe...while detoxing it ..lolol
Wouldn't have liked to have found dead mice eek but we did find a lodger in the bath before bed he (....huge spider) was still there this morning but brave OH took it into garden via the old glass & card trick ;O)

Had to get hose on garden last night as it's ages since we had any rain,not complaining, but it's a worry if your plants keep wilting all the time!

I am about to go offline.... R is now awake, finishing his second coffee, so is a bit less of a Victor Meldrew...... all the bits are in the conservatory... he is rummaging around now for the screws and stuff... I shall leave him rummage for five more minutes, and then tell him where they are, I think... he has found stuff I have been looking for whilst rummaging... so I'm not really being cruel, honestly!! ;¬))

Never did this til a new electronic board was put in a few months back.

Wheeee.... I am back online!! Would have been back hours ago... can't get my new printer to play, and then Sky wouldn't let me back, either... probably got the hump cos I said I didn't like them... anyways, I had to log back into my account... rummaged around for the details.... R then realised that they would probably be on the hub... yep... so here I am... I now have my desk all hunky dory... but still no printer... I'll try again in a minute, and then chuck it through the window if it doesn't want to play... it is a Kodak ESP 5 for any techno person looking in.... I'll give it ES flaming P, lol

well i have washed and ironed four loads today so now we are back to normal computer sharing as he is back home again lol i love him really

Well..... would you know it.... I have put a nice informative thread up, and have had threatening posts on it no less, lololol wmsl.... I am afraid I couldn't resist.....

The weather here has been glorious... and I have a totally empty wash basket... unless you count the sock that escaped at the top of the stairs.... I can't remember the last time that happened!

BC, have you got your head-dress sorted yet??? Oh and thank you for the hugs, I picked them up on my way into the thread!

Jude..... thank you.... well, the problem is, I tend to get strange things happen to me all the time....... the sort of things that could make you laugh or cry... if you laugh, they don't seem anywhere near so bad!!

Maz.... 30 tee shirts??????? How much luggage did he take??? lol....

Mau... thankfully, I'm not too bothered by spiders, unless they are really really huge... had a camel spider on my wall in Cyprus once... bigger than my hand... now that was some spider..... massive!! The poor mice must have been escapees from one or other of the boys.... they bring me in a lot of presents :¬((

~~~~~~~~ to Vicky....... must get back up to Edinburgh one day... we went years ago when the boys were younger, and I loved it. We stayed with our friend's parents in Glenrothes, and had a lovely time.

Well yesterday was glorious, blue skies and sunshine all day, sat out in the garden reading in the afternoon, had lunch out there, daughter went in because of the wasps!!! Went to Gloucester Quays in the morning so had a good day. Today it is grey and gloomy again, offspring gone home, OH at golf so a quiet house which needs clearing up!!!

Morning everyone..... what a miserable day!! Never mind... hopefully, it will stop sulking, have a good old cry, and I can forget the need to water the plants in tubs..... that is the problem with sullen and brooding, it does no good whatsoever... have a good bawl, and it serves a very useful purpose!!

I want to finish off what I started yesterday..... I am having yet another cull, lol.... Shaw Trust are coming to pick up my unwanted stuff tomorrow... I have four bags of clothes, and so far two big boxes of bric a brac. My mum is dreadful for buying stuff out of the charity shops, and then handing them on to one of us.... I usually end up with them cos my sisters don't do clutter, lolol Next weekend I am going to get R and B to go into the loft.... I have loads and loads of stuff up there!

Found another very dead mouse last night... it has been dispatched, and the area cleaned with a spray intended for the dustbins, to stop maggots.... I will now have to go around the whole house and do a search.... not being able to smell is a real b....... I still automatically sniff all food coming out of the fridge.... a pointless exercise... it does have it's good points, though.... when I was zooming around the Welsh countryside with sister last week... well, suffice it to say.... it would seem it is muck spreading time out there!! *huge smile* not a problem for me, lol

Ann.... you could be my manager.... we really could be in the money, you know, lol Do you fancy popping over and sorting my house out, when you have finished yours???? wmsl and ducks quickly!!

BC.... I am over my Christmas Blip.... but I have found the dinkiest lot of stuff for an Easter scrapbook page, lolol ;¬))

Maz, they have their good and bad points, don't they? I would hate to share my pc, for instance....... I do when son is home for a few days, but any longer and I have to grit my teeth.... even though he always asks, and never wants to use it when I am actually on it myself.... last but one time he was down, I asked him to fix my laptop... he uses that now, and it is so much better! I don't have to keep deleting all his programmes... nothing untoward, but he is into those wargaming sites... is a moderator on a couple.... at least on the laptop, I can leave them on... on mine he would have to download the programmes each time!

Right... lets go and find stuff to do... or to avoid.
