Your littlie will be enjoying herself again soon then?I have a butterfly punch from when i did quilling,which I found quite difficult to do at times, so use them for back of my cards..M for Mau lol

We watched the Ski Cross racers last night..amazing, they look as though they can fly!

Is it me or does anyone else keep clicking on preview instead of submit? Are they in different places?

Hi Ann, was the preview button not there until you edited piece on thread? can't remember buttons being side by side.

I don't think it was there recently. I think it was similar before the big upgrade then we lost the preview button.

One thing's for sure GR like to have us running around in circles..........think they should close site down for a short time while doing changes,or at least even tell us that they're about to do something!!

Morning everyone... well, by the time this gets onto the thread it will be mid afternoon... my hands are playing up today, not sore, just stiff and unwieldy... typing and craftwork is a nightmare. So I am a grumpy bunny cos I can't play with that, lol

I have been scanning loads of stuff into the pc, filing all my magazines... I have an impressive array already, lol... and also loading and unloading the washer and tumble dryer, so not been idle... just not doing what I wanted to do... which is cutting, sticking and glueing...

I will need to work a way out to do that safely while Littlie is here... she is soooo helpful, though that she will be in to everything, and I would be having a panic all the time in case I left something she could seriously hurt herself on lying around... you know what I am like for getting distracted!

I bought her a new scooter yesterday... one that has lights flashing and cool stuff like that, so I reckon she'll love it.... she won't take her patent shoes off cos they have flashing lights on the heels, lol The three of us fought like babies over who was going to put it all together last night..... grampa and daddy won, whilst Granny supervised and read the destructions... we were like kids, honestly! The men whined and pined cos it is bright pink and silver with girly type things on it... but what do they expect... she loves pink!

I will be popping to the vets later, to get Jethro's spray and my debit card... busy busy busy! Can't do much though... the only trousers that fit are in the washing machine........

It is wet and drizzly here.....

Afternoon Daff and all and hope your get your glitter hands in action soon Daff:-) How lovely you will be seeing Littlie soon and have bought her a scooter. I wanted to get them for my two little ones but it would be too dangerous around here. *sighs...and the thoughts of chasing after TWO of them when they made their escapes, and dragging doggie after me, well....lol.

Just back in from work, raining hard now and cold. A man got in and sat beside me on the Underground and I nearly fainted with his odour. People started fanning themselves with their papers...lolol..... The dragon lives on and managed a little walk outside today as she refused to get into wheelchair. She is still giving her housekeeper a hard time but hey she is used to it now! Baby boy is coming in morning for two days (he is swapping computers so I can see better). and my lovely daughter in law is coming for a long weekend in two weeks. So that is nice, the only thing is I shall have to do some clearing up...tsk tsk...

Hope the sun is shining on someone somewhere:-)

Ann I hope you are feeling better and your cold doesn't linger to long.

My 2 gr/ch had scooters at christmas,the ones that fold down, although the oldest is quite tall so it won't last long. It's a shame when they are taller than average for their age as they still want to do the things that the average height child does but sometimes are not able to. Things like height restrictions in play areas don't take into account the age of the children. Also why don't they make trousers and tops for tall slender children always the sleeve length and leg length are too short unless you buy larger sizes which swamp them elsewhere.
Oh dear a bit of a rant there ,off soap box now. lolol

Raining here now, partly sleet as well. It was lovely to see our friends but they have now gone on their way back to Exmouth. Didn't matter too much about my cold as they also had coughs and colds. I was just about ready for them to go as I was beginning to flag. Feel very 'heady' today and didn't sleep well last night.

Hope you soon feel better Ann,couple of Pa*****l before bed may help you sleep...

Daff, when is little coming? I always look forward to hearing what you both get up to...I am a bit like you today, aching joints in my case old age...lol....

Oh dear, sorry that a few of you are feeling icky...........get well wishes to you all.
Off to Southampton tomorrow to have the last (l hope) laser treatment on my right eye, l will have to get the train as you are not allowed to drive after and Ed won't be able to take me , haven't been on a train for ages, hope l know what to do, lol.
Have put the latest update on Ed on my thread on chat, so won't repeat myself.

I still feel rough Daff, head full of cotton wool. I did sleep well last night so that was something, and I am sure it is getting better. Got a bit of a cough now though as well. T has gone to golf, he sneezed twice last night so he will probably be next, and of course it will be soooo much worse than mine.

Why don't you tuck yourself up all warm and cosy and do nothing but read and doze all day? I hate that cotton wool head feeling, too!

Morning girls:-) I hope your cold gets better, Ann. Now, just a thought, why can't you and OH get your colds at the same time so you can BOTH be miserable and take to your bed, and eat chicken soup together? *ponders on life.....it's always one by one isn't it...

Ah Daff isn't it exciting waiting for the little ones arrival. She will be so delighted to be with her Grandma again:-). Just back in from soggy park, and where the water has formed a pond over a pathway, there are geese and a heron swimming around and making a racket. *frets..I do hope they don't make their nests around there, it is so exposed.

Right, am off to get some food for the fridge, baby boy hasn't arrived yet...he will soon be up to his neck in doing techy stuff for me!

Well, I did get myself breakfast in bed (himself did offer to stay home from golf but I am happier being miserable on my own). I will go and read if I start to 'go downhill' but at the moment I am ok pottering and moaning on here Lol!!!!! Just got myself a coffee and a small marathon to cheer me up!! I rarely sleep in the daytime, even if not well.

hi there I am pleased to say i have an afternoon to myself been back at work since monday but just busy with daughter who went back monday .my boiler was serviced yesterday so that was that .got loads to do but miss not popping in to post .hope you are feeling better Daff and Ann ,
