Jean my love, you know without my having to say this, that our prayers are with you, for a good outcome of the biopsy. Now is the time for waiting for the appointment, and it will seem ages, more so because you want it over and done with. I am a very impatient person, and want everything done yesterday. :-D :-D :-D You were so patient having to wait for one and a half hours like that. Did they give you a reason for the delay. Enjoy your time with young Charlie.
Marie, I am going to have to google Kurajong trees, I have to admit I have never heard of them. Are they just a tree that grows in your climate, or would they grow over here. Oooh a wedding, how lovely for you all. I am sure Sarah will make a lovely bride. I am sure which ever dress you chose, you will look lovely in it. You will have to send us a photo of yourself done up in your finery. It's good to hear that the family are all well Marie.
Ann, don't forget to get the extra large trunk, ready for me to sneak into, for your Tenerife holiday. I know you could do with the extra company when T shoots off for a game of golf, and I don't need much in the way of food, just make sure you keep me topped up with water. ;-) ;-) ;-) I envy you, flying away for days of sunshine, and relaxation. You have been very lucky missing out on the snow haven't you. Mind you, we definately cant complain ourselves here in Kent.
We are going Easter Egg delivering tomorrow. Thank goodness most of the grandchildren are now grown up. There is only 6 grandchildren/ great grandchildren under 18 now, so it's not quite as expensive as it used to be.
I bet I will miss Sallie tonight. So I will say a big hello Sallie, sorry I missed you. Bye for now girls, love to you all. Mo xxx

Hi To all my Lovely friends,
I hope you are having a Happy Easter and that there will not be any more snow.
Sallie I hope your toe improves very quickly.
I had planned a full day of work in the garden , but woke to rain and very cool weather so I decided to catch up with you all. I am going to clean my floors later then do some serious cleaning out of all my old clothes in my walk in wardrobe it is a job I keep putting off , I have always been reluctant to toss out my old clothes however I am going to see if my daughter will come over and help me to do it, I will then get her to take the clothes away so that I cant reclaim them which I have often done LOL :-D
The Big wedding affair is on next Saturday I do hope it does not rain for her big day. I will try to remember to take my camera and get someone to take some photo's .of me with the bride and my family The ones that have been invited that is. ;-) Time is moving on and I have these jobs to do Love and Hugs to you all <3
Marie :-) <3

Hello dear friends, I am sure I posted yesterday, but I can't seem to find it, so maybe I imagined it LOL
I hope you are all enjoying the Easter Weekend, and for those of us in the U.K, remembered to put the clocks forward last night. A couple of friends of ours forgot, and turned up an hour late today, wondering how come there were so many of us there so early, knowing that a few people don't normally turn up till 12.30, this was at 1.00p.m with them thinking it was 12.00. It was so funny, and they got ribbed about all lunch time.
How did the party go Sallie, I hope you both enjoyed yourselves, and that your toe didn't play up to much.
April fools day tomorrow, my word how time is flying by this year.
Must go now, speak to you all later. Love Mo xxx

Hi Mo, we had a great time at the party, although I could't dance because my toe was too painful. Although all of the toe is badly bruised, lovely shades of black and purple and going on to my foot, it is slowly getting less painful and easier to walk. Thank you for asking.
Jennie and Michael didn't realise the first year they were married that the clocks went forward, they felt pretty silly when they went to Wilko as it was just closing at 4 o clock and asked the lady who was locking up why they were closing early. It gave the lady and all of us a good laugh for the day.lol!!!
I can't get over how quickly time is going, it doesn't seem like three months since we were all preparing for Christmas.
Well we have had a nice bright and sunny day today, this morning and early afternoon it wasn't as cold as it's been, but it's gone colder again this evening.......we are now in British Summer Time.lol!!
I hope everyone else is okay, we haven't heard from Huia and Sylvia for a while.
Jean, lovely to see you posting on here this morning. Have you seen Charlie today?
Ann, how are things with you and T? Hope that you are both alright.
Well, must go and have my usual cuppa now, I can't manage too long without my cup of tea.lol!!!
Spaek to you soon.
Love Sallie.xxx

Hello all, if you are not in bed already. I am pretty busy these days, trying to walk 30 mins each day. Yesterday I went to a Meccano exhibition. When I walked in, my eyes went wide with wonder and I jumped up and down clapping my hands and saying "I want, I want". I used to love to play with dad's meccano set, but there were never enough pieces to build what I wanted to build, particularly when my younger sister decided she also wanted to play with it. I am afraid I dont have time now to play with meccano. But the models on display were magnificent. There was one of a transporter bridge, such as we saw in England. Lots of trains (moving around) and planes and cranes and all sorts of things. They also had Hornby trains running around tracks in the foyer. I think I was meant to be a boy, I loved it all so much. :-D

Hi Mo, and everyone
Jean ............. hope you hear about the biopsy as soon as possible, and do not have to wait too long!
Sallie .......... so sorry to hear that you have hurt your toe.
My foot has flared up again, so I'm back into the icing and elevation routine!
I hope you all had a good Easter, with lots of choccies :-)
We are having a lovely spell of nice sunny warm weather. Almost a week of it so far, although I think it will be cloudy and cooler as of Tuesday.
It was so warm yesterday (Saturday) that I went down to the clothes storage in the basement this morning (Sunday) and pulled out 3 or 4 of my spring, short sleeved tops. I did not put any of the winter tops away though! I don't trust the weather!!
Huia ...........
...................... OH would have loved that exhibition ................. we still have his Meccano, which was actually a mix of what he was given in the 1940s plus what his Dad had in the 1920s. Our daughter loved to play, and build, with it. She made a wonderful working windmill one time, insisted on taking it to school (which was quite a job as it was pretty large!!), and her teacher could hardly believe that J had done it all by herself!
We also still have OH's Double O Hornby trains and tracks. I think that is what it is called, or is it Hornby OO??
Daughter and her family have returned this evening from their visit with our friends (her godfather) on the Island. A little bit upset at the change in him, but glad that they came over. They will leave for home on the 11:30 pm plane tomorrow evening (Monday).
Take care everyone

Sylvia, how lucky you are, being able to get into your spring clothes. We still need our thermals on over here. It's been a glorious sunny day, but brrr was it cold out. I wanted to get out in the garden for a while, to do a bit of tidying up, but it was far to chilly. I bet your daughter was really upset, after seeing her god father. Even though we are forewarned what to expect, it still comes as a shock to the system. I bet you noticed a big difference in little man, and that you will miss him when they go home.
Huia, your talking about the Meccano exhibition, has reminded me of the time we took our eldest grandaughter to Legoland. I don't know who was more entertained by it all, her or ourselves. The whole park is spread out over a huge expanse, and quite tiring trying to take it in, in one day. The models are exquisite, and really lifelike, and the whole place is definately worth a visit. Grandaughter also wanted to go on the rides they had there, and we have a brilliant photo of her, on a motorised model car. When we showed her it recently, she had no memory of it, but she thoroughly enjoyed herself, taking her grandfather on rides like the log flume, where they both got soaking wet.
Sallie, I hope your toe is feeling better today. Did you put witch hazel on it, to bring out the bruising quicker. Just as long as you haven't broken it, as it's so easily done. I had to chuckle at Jennie and Michaels escapade at Wilko's. I am surprised that they hadn't realised the time change earlier than that, but then if they had not been out anywhere, they wouldn't have known would they. Mind you, they were newly married....(ducks before Sallie smacks her one lol) they wouldn't have noticed the time. ;-) ;-) ;-)
Thank goodness we get back to normal tomorrow, my days feel really mixed up at the moment. You wouldn't think that being retired would make much difference would you, but Friday I kept thinking was Saturday, and so it has gone on all weekend. Yes I know it's a CRAFT weekend ( Cant Remember A Flipping Thing) Bye for now dear friends, take care one and all. Love Mo xxx

Mo, like you I have been get the days mixed up since Friday, kept thinking it was Saturday. Usually go to some kind of special party on a Saturday night so that didn't help, when I woke on Saturday I thought it was Sunday...I sometimes think that I am losing it.lol!!
I didn't know that witch hazel brought out the bruising quicker, I'll have to remember that in future, thanks for that Mo.
You were right, Jennie and Michael had not been married too long then, so they wouldn't have noticed the time.lol!!!
We took Chloe to Legoland a good few years ago, it was lovely there.....all the models and layouts were wonderful and well laid out, there was so much to see and do there. Richard lives about 15 minutes away from there...trouble is we haven't got anyone to take now, which is a shame as I would love to go again.
Sylvia, I can imagine how much of a shock it was to see her godfather, even though you had told her what to expect, but it's another thing seeing him. Hope that his suffering doesn't go on too long now, it's awful for him and also for his wife seeing him like he is.
I'm sure you and OH enjoyed the company of your daughter and her family, even though it was only for a short visit this time. I bet you seen a difference in little man since Christmas, I expect he has grown a bit since then.
Sorry that your foot has flared up again hope it will soon get better.
My toe is slowly getting better, still a bit painful when I walk, but things could be worse.
Huia, Alun and my brother would have loved the Meccano Exhibition as they both had meccano when they were lads, in the early 1950's.
Alun would love to have seen the Hornby trains, as you probably know, he has a model railway layout in the utility room. Although not all Hornby, there are a few other makes that he also buys now.
Well I had better go to bed, I'm very late tonight so will speak to you all tomorrow.
Love to all our friends. Sallie.xxx

Well Sallie, if I had known Richard lived so close to Lego Land, I would have popped in for a cuppa. I would have just knocked on his door and said " your mum said to pop in for a cuppa lol"
Not a lot of news to tell you girls, but just thought I would drop by and say hello. Speak to you later, love Mo xxx

Just a hello from me too. Lovely sunny day here but windy and very cold out of the sun. However the conservatory is really hot so we have opened the inner door to let the heat warm the lounge. This morning we went to a garden centre for a coffee and scone. Didn't buy any plants though, just a jar of lemon curd, some fat balls and a few small plant pots.

Hi there Jean.
Today we took slightly over $1000 in the shop. We have a half price sale on women's and men's summer clothing, so people must have been buying a lot. I dont handle too many of the sales as I have trouble hearing the customers, as our manager wants the radio to be playing, so I usually leave it to another woman, unless she is having a tea break or whatever. I just wrap any china people are buying and pack things into bags for them while she deals with the payment. I also frequently go around the shop picking up any clothes that have fallen off hangers, taking any empty hangers into the back room, and generally keeping things tidy. Not to mention trying on the occasional garment, or deciding to buy something else! I think I will have to leave my purse and cards at home in future.

good afternoon all. Huia, how did your explosion of colour photos get on? They were all good, were they well received?
Hope the new dosage works better Jean, too much sleep can make you feel almost as bad as not enough.
Today it has been sunny and, where sheltered quite warm. But there is a bitterly cold wind, I walked to the shops and my face was frozen, I was so pleased to get back into the warm again. Then I stood out in the garden on the patio with no coat on potting on some small plants which I then put in the conservatory, and I was quite warm. I also got a line of washing dried in a couple of hours. Surpising how happy it can make you to dry washing outside in the sunshine. It all smells lovely and fresh. Just waiting for my 'man' to iron it now :-D

Hi there everyone.
Jean my scan is on the 17th of this month at 5p.m. On the same day Roly has to be fitted with his appliance, to check on his sleep apnia (sp) at 1.00p.m, so that day is going to be spent mostly at the hospital. Thank goodness the doctor changed the Diazapan for a lower dosage Jean, sleeping nearly 24 hours a day is not right is it love. How is J doing now? I hope he is well.
Huia, goodness me, your hospice shop, has been doing very well hasn't it. I loved the new layout of the shop by the way, it looks so open and friendly. I'm sure all the staff are pleased with your help. Plus you enjoy doing it don't you love. and it gets you out of the house.
Ann, coo you are brave going out to do your potting in the cold. It has been bitter here today, and it tried to snow this morning.
We had Lilly today, and bless her, she was trying to sing "Twinkle Twinkle little star" The words were unintelligable, but she had the right way of singing it,oooh it was so funny to watch and listen to, and she was totally unaware we were listening in.
Must go now, speak to you tomorrow girls. Love to all, Mo xxx
