Busy is right, Ann, at least for me. I have spent more than 2 days trying to get the right photos for the next club meeting. Today I will be going in to work in the shop again and I have some things to do before that, so mustn spend too long on here.

It sounds strange Huia saying she has got work today, doesn't it Ann, especially as we are still on Sunday night here, I keep forgetting the time differences betwen here and down under, and Canada even. Don't work to hard Huia, I hope you get some nice bargains in today. How is the shop doing now? I hope business has improved now that people know where you are situated.
How far away from Cheltenham are you Ann. Is it a good shopping centre there? You and T have been busy bees, planting out your spring flowers. We have not even thought about them yet. I still have the plants I received on Mothers day to plant out yet, but the weather is completely wrong just yet. Apart from the fact that I would get drowned trying to plant them in this pouring rain.
We didn't get to see the littlies yesterday Ann, I wasn't feeling up to it to be honest. I will be glad when I get my scan done, and sort this pain out. The doctor seems to think it's either my gall bladder, gall stones or kidney stones. And there was me thinking that this pain was my IBS playing me up, but the doctor said the pain is to high up for that. Oh well never mind it will all be sorted soon, hopefully, if and when I get my appointment through.
Going to make myself a nice cuppa char now, so I will say bye for now my friends. Love to all, Mo xxx

Hi girls, just to let you know that I haven't forgotten you all, I've been so busy getting all the birthday cards made for March, just got one more to make and a few Easter cards.....I've made eighteen birthday cards so far. Thank goodness March is the worse month for birthdays.lol!!!
Mo, hope you will get to have a scan very soon and whatever the problem is, they will quickly sort it out for you.
Ann, hope you and T enjoyed your roast chicken dinner this evening. We had roast lamb today, really enjoyed it.
Huia, you sound as though you are a very busy bee. Hope all is going well in the shop and that you are having some good bargains in to sell. How is Phil getting along? Hope all is as well as it can be for him.
Our brother-in-law is now in a home and seems to have settled in okay. Sister-in-law was hoping that she could have him at home for at least a bit longer but the Specialist he is under, advised her against it.
Jean, Sylvia, Marie and Jeni, hope you are all okay.
Well I'm off to bed now, speak to you all tomorrow.
Love, Sallie.xxx

There has been a lot of re-organising of things in our shop. We have a new stand with glass shelves, and are putting some of the fancy china etc on it. The clothes have been moved around. Also bric-a-brac. It is all looking very nice. I took some photos today so will have to get them on my computer, then on my FB page.
Tomorrow I will be going out in the afternoon, having dinner in town, then going to the choir AGM, as they are inviting all the older members who have left. I am not sure what it is in aid of. This time tomorrow night I will know.

Mo, sorry you are having such pain, I hope you can get an appointment soon to get it sorted out.
The plants are not planted out in the garden of course, it is still to cold for that. It is beautifully sunny here at the moment but there is also a hard frost. No, the plants are in indoor heaters in the conservatory and greenhouse.
Sallie, goodness, a lot of cards for one month.
I hope the your sister in law will find it better to have her OH in the home, if she had kept him home it would probably have ended up with being detrimental to her health.
Yes thanks really enjoyed the chicken.
Huia, the shop looks very nice, very smart. Good luck with the photos for the competition.
Jean, glad you enjoyed the visit by your great grandson, strange how they sometimes relate more to men isn't it? Wonder if it is their voices?
Whenw e were down in Devon and visiting Coleton Fishacre, the home of the D'Oyley cartes (NT) there was a camelia in full flower there, it was beautiful and yet it was very cold. The window vac is very good, pleased we bought it. :-) Gives T something different to the iron to play with :-D

Well I've finished writing the cards now, so will send them off tomorrow. I'm so glad that they are done, we have a lot of family birthdays in March to start with and over the years a few friends children were also born in March.......someone in the family once asked me what we women did in March with so many babies being born over the years.lol!!
Jean, lovely to have the family over for lunch yesterday and wonderful to see the baby. I think it is the sound of a deeper voice that attracts the babies to the men. I know that whenever we have one of the little ones here they are fine with me until Alun and Richard arrive on the scene, and then I am forgotten.lol!!
Mo, sorry that you were not well enough to go and see Lilly and her brother and sister yesterday, I hope that you are feeling better today.
Huia, the shop sounds lovely, it seems very well organised.
Ann, I think sister-in-law is slowly getting use to not having hubby at home. I know she was finding things very difficult as it was, but I think she also felt guilty about not having him at home so clung on to having him there for much longer than she should have. I can understand where she was coming from because I'm sure that if it was me with Alun I would be exactly the same as her.
Well I must go and get a couple of jobs done before Alun arrives home.
Love, Sallie.xxx

Sallie, it is not a matter of what the women did in March, more likely what they were doing in June - celebrating the official Queen's birthday? In my family it has been celebrating Easter. So many birthdays in January, I call us Easter Eggs. ;-)

Mo, just thought that I'd let you know that Jean isn't feeling too good at all, so won't be on here until she is feeling a bit better........she is suffering quite badly with pains in her back. Let's hope that she will feel a lot better soon.
I sent her a email yesterday evening and she replied back asking me if I could let you all know why she hasn't been on here.
Have you heard how Jeni is today? I hope that she is going along alright and enjoying her birthday with her family around her.
Must go and get ready to go and do the weekly shopping, so will look in later on.
Take care everyone.

Sorry Sallie, I miss understood your posting re our Jean. I got mixed and muddled with our Jean, and Jeniwren, silly billy me.
I have got my appointment through for my scan, it's for the 17th of April,...but, the scan is for the pelvic area, and not the rib cage area where my pain is. I am going to make an appointment to see the doctor tomorrow, to see if this is the correct area for scanning or not.
Poor Jean, she has been through the wars lately bless her. I hope she feels better soon, and feels up to posting again. I do miss her saucy remarks, and I'm having withdrawal symptoms.
I have heard from Jeniwren, she is a bit fed up of having to behave herself, and get as much rest as she can. I think her family will have to tie her to the chair to keep her under control. ;-) ;-) ;-)
Must go and get my bath, and get ready for darts tonight. Bye for now girls, take care. Love Mo xxx

How did you nget on at darts last night? I hope that you and your team did well and won.
Thank goodness you have had the date for your scan through, hoping that it will all go well and that whatever it is, they will hurry up and sort it out for you.
Hope Lilly is alright and that Zoey is responing well to the physio.
We had some snow overnight, but not too much thank goodness, although it is snowing quite a bit at the moment, just hope it won't stick and hang about. It's very cold and the wind is making it feel a lot worse.
Hello to all our other fiends on here, I'll try and get back on here later today.

Sallie, I was in the singles last night at darts. I got through the first round, winning 2-0, but then came up against the woman who eventually won the whole chebang. I didn't disgrace myself, and played really well considering how nervous I was. The shakes started in my hands, and worked them selves down to my BTM, and when that started wobbling, I was like the proverbial jelly on a plate. :-D :-D :-D
I have got an appointment with my GP on Wednesday, to check what she actually wrote on the application for my scan. It will be no good them scanning just my pelvic area, when the pains higher up. It's the same as having to have an ingrown toenail removed, and them sending one to the dentists. lol
I hope the snow is not settling Sallie. We have had rain on and off all flamin day, but it is bitterly cold, and snow is forecast for us down south.
I wonder if Ann is o.k, as we have not heard from her in a while. I don't remember her saying they were going away just yet.
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3Love and hugs for Jean and Jeni <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Get well soon both of you. xxx
Has anyone heard how Joyce is lately? As I have not seen her posting very often.
A big hello to Sylvia, Marie and Huia, our friends from down under. I hope you are all keeping well.
Bye for now girls. Love and hugs Mo xxx

No not away until end April Mo, otherwise been busy card making and knitting, went out a couple of days, once to the garden centre at Evesham, had lunch out seniors special, chicken and mushroom pie followed by sticky toffee pud. Not exactly slimming but very moreish. Then yesterday we went into town as I had a chiropodist appointment and we had lunch in Wetherspoons plus a bottle of wine.

We are probably all using allo our energy keeping warm Mo. We didn't go far at the weekend, just nipped out for the papers on saturday and Sunday we went to Homebase as we needed a special bulb for one of our wall lights, then we had a coffee in Dunelm and a short visit to the Range. Today we had to go to Dunelm in Gloucester this time to collect something our daughter ordered because she was unable to get it in Dunelm in the Lake district where she is staying for 10 days, so on the way back we made a visit to a shop called Homesense which sells all sorts of things at reduced prices. I got a lovely cream squishy teddy bear for the expected great grandchild and a 12x12 scrap book and a pyrex oval roastin casserole dish, all reduced so I was well pleased. (Didn't actually need any of it of course.) Loved a notice on their shelves. "Were you able to find everything you didn't know you wanted?" :-D
