I have just watched Finding Neverland, and was in tears at the end. Hubby even said that he was getting choked up, and that it was a good movie. He doesn't say that very often. Others that I can remember having a good old cry at: The Green Mile One flew over the Cookoos Nest Bowling for Columbine. Deb |

Oh David, yes, I forgot about The Bridges of Madison County. I read the book first, before the movie. I can remember sitting on the couch until the wee hours as I couldn't put the book down, and sobbing uncontrolably. Oprah (at the time) mentioned a particular page that she wept at. Sure enough the one that had me red eyed. I did the same with the Green Mile. Was trying to tell the girls at work about it, but was in floods, Shawshank redemption - a very good movie. Just remembered another one The Birdman of Alcatraz Deb |

No David, it was for the inmate Koffee, and his mouse 'Mr Bo Jangles'. I'm getting misty just thinking about it. LOL Linda. I can just see your parents faces :) David - Maybe try 'Tom Hanks anger management classes' :) Deb |

Help me out here. As a child I watched a film that made me cry. An escaped convict was discovered in a barn by a young lad. The boy asked the con who he was, to which he replied 'Jesus Christ'. Was it Whistle down the wind'? Deb |

Think that was Whistle down the Wind Deb, with Alan Bates? My recent break down and sob movie was Million Dollar Baby with Clint Eastwood. A beautiful film and a great cry! XX BC |

Donna - I have spent many a night 'Sleepless in Seattle' ;) Buttercup - My best friend said she was sobbing during 'Million Dollar Baby'. I haven't seen the movie, so can't understand how boxing would make her cry. I'll have to rent it I guess and find out for myself. Thanks for the confirmation on Whistle Down the Wind. Deb |

Gwynne is quite right about S of M. Both the Edelweiss bits and both the Climb ev'ry Mountain bits make me cry but I didn't want to be the first to put it down. |

I clearly remember the first film that moved me to tears. I was only a ''ard' teenager and I watched Kramer V Kramer with my mum and the little boy was sooooo good. I cried when he asked his daddy if he would see him again. :o( Claire xx |

Gwynne, Not meaning to pass you bye. Sorry to say, The Sound of Music , though an excellent movie, never tweaked the tear ducts! It is my Mums favourite movie. There was something in the paper recently, picturing the Great? Grandchildren of the Von Trapps. I should have paid more attention to the article. Deb |

Re Sound of Music- It's that little crack in his voice as he gets near the end. It does it every time. - even when I went to see singalong soundamusic, which had me in tears of laughter I still broke at that bit. Gwynne |
