Sound of music, several places The king and I Believe it or not White Christmas (where the soldiers march in singing We'll Follow the Old Man). Bambi The Horse Whisperer Officer and a gentleman probably the first one I cried at was when i was 7 and taken to see the Bells of St Marys Stage show of les mis. Can't think of them all Ann Glos

Just about all already mentioned! Most recently, The Notebook because my Parent's in law and their circumstances at the time, were uncanilly reflected in two of the characters and one scene in particular which broke my heart, as I'm sure it did many others. Patty x

I choke up sometimes, not because a film is sad or very moving (although they do have the same effect) but because it has been so beautifully performed, most recently 'Pride & Prejudice'. Not sure why that happens though, lol. Mike

the original version of Johnny Belinda wth Jane Wyman , when she signed 'I love you' to her father and he said - 'Daughter, this is the first time you have said that' I dissolve. Big Fish is another emotional film and I cant watch Iris as its too personal and painful the list is getting longer!

Guost - Patrick Swazey Brother Bear (Walt Disney) Annabella - (Walt Disney) Horse Whisperer Born Free Living Free Watership Down Green Mile Homeward Bound Bambi ...... we're just a soppy family. We watched 'Guost' on Channel 5 last night ... even my 10 year old lad was tearful - until his 18 yr old sister poked fun at him.
