One which made me cry when I was young, and still can bring a lump to my throat was 'Mandy' with Mandy Miller, Phyllis Calvert and I think Terence Morgan. It was about a little deaf girl - old black and white film needless to say. Also I have this endearing memory of my son sitting watching a film at his Nan's house when he was about 4 or 5, and when we glanced at him he was silently sobbing.... the film? Lassie come Home. We tease him about it to this day !! |
