lol Maz....... I left a plastic bag... empty, it had had bits of cardboard in it in the kitchen cupboard... in the cardboard bin..... I had a letter saying that if I did it again, our *compost* bin would not be emptied again, and the service withdrawn... I had actually come over all peculiar while I was emptying plastic bag contents... R had nipped out to the shops, it was when I first came out of hospital the last time....

It is no joke, how much power others have over you, really.

Oh dear.... bulk rubbish, lol.... first Monday of the month.... we kitted out our cellars into a fantastic party area for the adults, and play area for the kids if the weather was bad... we had REME techs by the zillion... they fitted up the best sound system ever......... and the carpets, snooker table and bits, speakers, sofas and armchairs....... mattresses (our kids were young... they slept there *camping out* when we had a party for the adults, and then we carried them up to bed when we left...) they all came from the bulk rubbish........

Lol!! Those were the days... I was sensible and teetotal in those days, lolol

Hi Daff and all glad to see you are all ok, enjoying the weather or not typical school hols weather. We went camping for the first time(not in backgarden) weekend just gone it rained when we put the tent up was soaked to the skin and only slightly better when taken down. But we did have a good time and didnt put my children off(only me).

School hols not been to bad just have to entertain my youngest more as she broke her arm they insisted she had to have the plaster off after 10 days sos just has a sling on now and seeing as she is always on go it is difficult to slow her down but trying to be patient at her frustrations.

garden is going well just picked first cabbage and had a few peas. Just wanting some sun to help the tomato,s.

Take care all

I've gone all nostalgic now, Maz... that was such a long time ago, seems like a different world away.

Hiya Star.... you were brave going camping..... we did as children, and I vowed never again!!

Your youngest will at least not damage the skin and get an infection cos it itches.... son number two did just that when he was 9 with a knitting needle... where he got it from is still a mystery, as I don't knit!!

I am off to bed now... busy day tomorrow......

Night night all

Morning all.... thank you, Ann & Jean.... appointment at 2.30... have to go and pick up the list of drugs I have been taking from the GP first, though!!

I can't settle to do anything constructive, like waft a duster at those cobwebs again, lol.... and Pol is acting very strangely... she hasn't left my side. She slept tucked into my pillow all night.... the gap between R's and mine.... with her little paw poking my eye, my ear, up my nose etc etc.... when I turned over... she calmly walked across my head and settled on the other side, but similar position.... now she is sat on the mouse mat..... I have about 3 inches spare... I put a bed on the windowsill.... not interested... she keeps trying to get on my lap, too.

I am now wondering if a visit to the vet for a checkover is in order.... just to be sure. She is 17, after all.

It is sunny and warmhere at the moment... fingers crossed it stays that way, but the forecast is for showers.

Well.... better go and find something to do...... Ann, I hope T has a wonderful birthday!

I am quite cross.... I have just opened the envelope with the list of drugs I have had...... well, guess what? They haven't put anything other than my BP drugs...... none of the potent stuff I was having or the chemo... the IV antibiotics (I was on three different sorts at one time, and IV antihistamine cos I was sensitive to one but had to have it!) then there were the IV anti virals, and anti fungals.... the driver thingy I had for the sickness...... the transamic (sp) to stop bleeding in the tissues etc... the Norethisterone to stop monthlies..... steroids, and there are more... I was on tablet form of most of those for ages after as well... yet all that is on the list are two BP drugs...... and my allergy to aspirin.... not to the dressings that are often used which caused havoc... Grrrrrrrrrrr!

Well, I shall take my chemo book with me.... R has listed most of them in the back of that! But the GP was supposed to sign for them.... *pulls hair out*

See you all later.... I feel better now for that little rant!! Mwah!

So that is good Maz then isn't it?

Daff, your surgery really is the limit isn't it?

I have just had a letter to say our surgery has set up a hypertension limit to keep check on BP etc. What are the doctors doing then if not that, I suppose it will be a nurse now and e wont get to see the doctor. I have to make an appointment for a blood test (doesn't say what sort!. then to see the hypertension clinic!

~~~~~~~~~~~ to everyone
Well, surgery e-mailed the drugs list through, so all's well that ends well... I didn't say a thing, just handed over the envelope!!
I have had yet another chest x ray, an ECG, loads of bloods.... hope they have left some for tomorrow, lol..... and listened to my heart and stuff..... they wanted to know so many details!! I am having a local.... but that may change at the last minute, so they have done all the tests as though I am having a general.... I haven't got a date, they say I should hear in the next few days...... so..... sit tight and wait, lol
Tomorrow, it is a morning visit to the Haemotology outpatients...... and then we shall have a meal on the way home, which will be nice.
R has nipped out to get one of those Chinese thingies from A**a.... I am looking forward to it..... I love Chinese food!
It is still sunny!! I think we'll sit in the garden for a bit after we've eaten.... I have fleeces at the ready, lol!
Maz, I hope you enjoy your new job.... there is nothing worse than clashing with someone at work..... I assume you will still be needing to do the NVQ? Good luck, anyway..... is it another school?
Hiya Mau....... ~~~~~~ yep, all was ok, I think... wasn't expecting a chest xray and the ECG, mind.......!!
The hypertension clinics are springing up all over the place, Ann.... like the asthma clinics... I reckon surgeries get extra pennies from the government if they are seen to be pro-active.... just my opinion, not based on fact....... and yep... you get specialist nurses! Is that tiny nurse, pretty with long hair.... tiny tiny waist... she was the asthma nurse when I was there........!
Hiya BC.... they were well behaved then? No trying to shove you in the cupboard under the stairs or anything??? Sounds like it was a wonderful day!
I was on the boards, having hissy fits, lololol!! ;¬)))
Must go.... Lord Hunter Gatherer is back.... need to go and rub some sticks together to make a fire, lolol
I was going to the hospital.... so I didn't take my phone, lol.... oh, and R was with me, so I knew I wouldn't need to phone him, lolol... I'll go and find it now in a minute... I am supervising my dinner heating up, lol!! And thank you :¬))
Maz, keep on with the NVQ, and don't be disheartened... if you are not so stressed out, you will do better at the NVQ... so this might be a blessing in disguise!
