Mamiddau, wow... Congratulations!!!!! I want all the details!

Well its been dry all day, shock! And Daff you sound as if you had a fabulous day out, great stuff. So your "gadding about" again? Now dont gooverdoing things, and dont forget those poor little spiders were really busy knitting while you were gone! I bet their little legs have knitters elbow by now!LOL
My poor cat has been sick as a dog today! I noticed her eating grass this morning, she then came in and threw her breakfast all over the floors, stairs and bathroom, so if shes still ill tomorrow, its the emergency vet. I'me sure shes trying to bankrupt me!!

morning all my cat is not my friend he has just started messing indoors i am not amused .will have to bring the cat litter box
he has only started this since the dog went and it is in a stupid place behind the telly in among the leads i am sick of cleaning it all off
any ideas folks ?

Morning Daff and all and so happy you and Ann had such a lovely day yesteday and I hope your hangovers are mild (an old Irish blessing). Sorry about your cat, Taff, and I do hope she is better today. As for your cat misbehaving, Maz, he is probably suffering because the dog is not there. There is loads of stuff on the net. Just put 'how can I stop my cat pooing in house' and you will be inundated!. From personal experience I found that shaking pepper round the spot seemed to work for some strange reason.

Baby boy has gone roaring off for the day so I better get down to some clearing up and dusting *shivers* and stuff.

Morning all..... well, I slept the deep sleep of the righteous and innocent... which one do you reckon I am? lol!! And no hangover..... brilliant!

I can't decide what I want for dinner... roast lamb or roast beef.. I have some beef, already cooked, along with some of the juices, already in the freezer..... but I'd have to go out for the lamb..... lets see if this rain lets up!

Maz, one way I stopped it years ago, when one of mine was naughty for doing it (same place, behind the telly on the wires, stinks, doesn't it?) I put a food dish on an old table mat there... kept a few bits of dried food in said dish.... that stopped it in that house. Then we moved, and she started it all up again... so this time, the dish didn't work, and I put her favourite cat blanket there.... not washed or anything, had her smell on it then... and that worked. Good luck.

BC, I'm not doing a single thing, apart from the dinner...but we'll cook dinner together... I do the peeling, and get the meat into the oven, he puts the veg on (always too early, lol drives me nuts!) then he carves, I make the gravy, he dishes up. Teamwork! Is your baby staying a while with you, then?

I really want to get into the garden... loads of weeds have started to come up in the rain....... I refuse to get wet, though.... fair weather gardener, I am ;¬))

Taff, how is your cat today??? two of mine have a real problem.... vet says there is nothing wrong, but they eat quickly and then hoick part of it back up. It is also why I give Hermie a really good brushing every day.... he hoicks up fur balls otherwise, as well!

I should have kept my big trap shut about the weather last night! As soon as I finished typing to you, the heavens opened and have stayed open!! I'me flippin sick of it now!!

Well my cat hasnt been sick this morning ...yet,! But shes been eating grass again! and hasnt had any breakfast so far, Those neighbours of mine had better not be feeding her! Cos they WILL get the vets bill this time!
Maz, its right what Daff and BC have said about the pepper, food dish and blanket! Mine used to love to "go" all over the wires as well, (what is it about wires?) I used the pepper, and that worked a treat! I've heard curry powder has the same effect!

Strange you should say that about wires, not our cat bu a neighbours - we put green garden wires over the patch of garden we have in the front to keep the cats off and this one cat goes through the wire (sort of very open netting, 6 inch square gaps) It never bothered me clearing up after our own cats but hate doing it after other people's ugh!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~ to Daff, I haven't got a hangover either but didn't wake up properly until 09.15!!!! Raining here too, weren't we lucky yesterday?

Vic and l do the dinners together too, sometimes l do more other times Vic does, depends if Neighbours is on...lol....he can do most on his own now aswell. Cooked roast lamb and liver & bacon whilst l was in Sx the other week:o))

BC....bet you can't wait for your baby to get back now. Don't over doo the cleaning. Hows the tattoo??

Mamiddau....pm me more about your job. Vic had a fantastic time, time of his life. Got in about 9pm full of it, but l was inbed felt quite poorly with a headache, tried sitting on the stairs listening to him but had to go back to bed with paracetamols.....heard all about it again this morning and looked at the books, admired his new T-Shirt and ooo'd and rrr'd at the Vulcan corgi toy he bought little M....little M will be so pleased with it and l know he'll call a spaceship:o))))))

Hope all these cats get better soon and stop pooing every where....ewk!!
Madoc has been drinking loads of water so will get him checked asap!!

Off now to sort some photo's out, l will get some printed on canvas (via net) in mosaic form, one for Missy E and one for Master M :o))
Meeting sister, her oh and son at a gorgeous pub on the river Wye later, can't wait:o)

Jude, nothing exciting happened really but Daff and R came about 2pm (well dead on 2pm actually and we, drank some red wine and had a good natter (well Daff did Lol!!! I got in a few words as did T, R listened and looked wise and knowledgeable, I guess he is used to not being able to get a word in Lol!!!! Then we toured the estate, Then T did a barbecue and I had done a salad, and we drank some more red wine, then Daff decided my wine was better than hers, well her glass was empty at the time, so she drank some of mine, then we had some fresh fruit salad and or cheese, then we talked some more and then they went home R no doubt breathing a sigh of relief at the silence!! Oh yes T gave Daff a baby cucumber from the greenhouse and she had apparently eaten half of it on the way home. (Just thought Daff, it wasn't washed, naughty, luckily he doesn't spray with anything so you're OK>)

glad V enjoyed Fairford. Hope the headache is better.

Mustn't let OH see these posts.....H and I been trying to persuade him that we need anohter cat, he keeps reminding how sparkey wee'd everywhere........! somehow I don't think your postings will help convince him....although I think he's reluctantly given in on the guinea pigs.....! yay!

anyway, this is just a flying visit, had a busy day - ironing was all done, but have done loads more washing, so theres more to do now! ych!

Evening all - trust you are all well!

Sounds tough all this pussy problem - fortunately I havent had any problems with Jackson, but I know what to do now if he ever gets the urge! Mind you, I am not adverse to a kick up the stern as a deterrent if needs be. anyone tried that? ))))

Spend all day at the allotment, getting rained on at regular intervals. Grand-chook Claudia is still broody and has to be forcibly ejected by my son from the coop (sp???) so that he can collect the eggs, otherwise she will sit in there forever!

Cooked some spaghetti before we went (well, a little treat for the grand=chooks really) and Claudia came flying out the the coop - do chickens have a sense of smell??

I found two fat slugs and chopped them up into quarters (dont ask - very messy - yuk) and it was hilarious to see Violet and Mavis chasing each other around the Orchard trying to snatch the quartered slug out of their beaks!!! son says they wont eat their pellets now, but sit and wait for Pasta Man and Slug Woman - lol

Raining here steadily now, so off to cook some my grand=chooks eggs for supper - is that canabalistic???

Well I hope Daff didn't develop a late hangover as she didn't come back on here yesterday!!

Morning all... no, I didn't, Ann lolol... had half a glass of sherry, and didn't fancy any more... so then mooched around in the kitchen getting in R's way... he did most of the dinner, and very nice it was, too... then we flicked through to see what was on the telly.... watched an old NCIS that we had both managed to miss, somehow..... then I toddled off to bed, cos R fancied sommat a bit gory......... well, scary, more than gory, but I didn't fancy it... did a couple of codeword puzzles, then snuggled down and was out like a light until 3am... awake until about 4.30 (last time I looked at the clock) and then went out for another couple of hours, lol.... so I am all bright and breezy today!

Done a bit of ironing... yeh!! and got some washing out... I have to pop across to the GP to deliver a form he has to fill in for the hospital regarding all the drugs I have taken in the last 12 months, lololol That'll be fun... he'll need to supply a couple of extra pages!!

Jac, I am sure it isn't cannibalism..... it was a gift, delivered with love.... from your grandchooks, because you have been so wonderful in supplying them with treats and delicacies!!

Morning all! Maz - you may be counting down.....so am i for very different reasons!!!! H finishes at 1pm tomorrow, I am pipcking her and her friend M up, as her parents are both in work! eeeek! O will annoy them until one of them yells at him, then he will cry, then H will cry cos he's upset....M will just look bewildered! H has a party at 4 tomorrow - high school musical disco!!! they're all dressing as the cheerleaders!

Hello, all, just been shopping, Now I dont really like shopping but we had no food in the house, so had to do it !!, we had a great time at the golden wedding party, even did a bit of dancing, but not a lot, kept going dizzy, I havent been able to move for two days lol...I used to love dancing even taught it once...... wish I had your energy Daff, I am completly knackered. am I allowed to say that? J is still having to go to the clinic and hospital, he is struggling with it all , was sure it would be over and done with by now, no patience, my man.I need to take the flippin ear thingys back , cant tolerate the amplified noise, its driving me mad, Daff, J and I are praying all goes well with the hospital visit for you....
