I'm home... got the rugs in first place we went to....... luvverly jubberly!! Then nephew phoned his mum... could she help him with some purchases for his new flat... off we toddled, me, sister and niece..... to Ikea.... seen wardrobe system in there that I like, for half the price I had set myself.... and I have saved on not getting the new flooring.... sooooo!! Next month, I shall at last have proper wardrobes in our bedroom, not the rails (proper ones, just no doors, lol) as it is now........

I have to go and dish up seconds for the cats.... then go and get some milk.... forgot it!! Doh!!

Speak later!!

Morning Daff and all:-) Glad you enjoyed shopping trip and got your rugs..you are doing your 'nesting' this year aren't you:-) Gloomy skies but my baby boy is coming to see his old mother today and roaring off into the sunrise tomorrow (on blasted motorbike..I hate em!)...so that will be lovely. . My Bulgarian is drinking lots of beer but am dodging her nicely! I allow two meaningful, cultural conversations a day and that is that. lol

Mamiddau, I am so very relieved that somebody else on GR loves The Wire! My friend and I spent an hour extolling the merits of Avon, Omar and Stringer the other evening and of course the lovely McNulty. lol Must admit I have to have subtitles on though when I watch:-)

Hope you all have a good day. BCXXX

Lol Ann....... met R in there, fortunately, his memory is better than mine.

BC... all that beer, just gives you gas..... so I'm told... best stick to your Bailey's. Have a lovely time with your baby... mine still gets called that, and boy, does he squirm!!

I have just had my pre-assessment through for the plumbing job... have to go Thursday coming, so they have got a move on, haven't they?

Well, only a quick visit just now... I am putting the rugs down... and need some furniture moved slightly to do so..... R is stirring nicely.... I sent all the cats in about half hour ago, along with a nice strong coffee!! So he can do the heavy work, and I shall tell him how to, I have vacuumed all underneath, and the cream has come up rather well... at least 5 shampoo's later, and the last two had hefty doses of Vanish (the in-wash one) added to them. I am expecting it to disintegrate on me, lol.

See you later,

Love

Hiya Jude, they are wonderful, are grandchildren.... but they are knackering, aren't they? lol

I am now all sorted in the lounge... I have even *puffs up chest proudly* polished the furniture!!! And waved my cobweb basher around......

Off to sew the hem up on my trousers..... and then have a nice hot shower... and then we are on our way!!

I can't believe I'm not flaked out... I've done a fair bit this week, and only a couple of weeks ago, I'd have been taking to my bed for a week, lol!!

But no... I am fizzing!! Ann, I bought some bits yesterday... in the Range. A Cathedral rotary trimmer, Fiskars shapecutter (I have one of the templates, but not the cutter) spare blades and another hobby knife, foam sticky tape... double sided tape in two sizes...... I already have glue dots, glue gun, pritt sticks x 3, individual sticky wotsits... oh and blu tack. I like blu tack... use it for all sorts......plugging holes in the walls, keeping ornaments from being knocked over, sticking doorbells on the door.... loads of things....

afternoon all! I'm thinking of changing my boardname to Mrs Stringer....what you think BC??!! lol!

Daff...you should complain, they got a bloomin cheek not asking your age! tsk! my sister was horrified when she tried to buy craft knives recently and they wanted ID - she didn't have any photo id with her, and they wouldn't accept anything else! she argued with them, saying "am 30!!!!" but they wouldn't have it! made me laugh!

I had another job interveiw thursday - they rang me yesterday to say that I had all the experiance and more, that they were looking for, they loved my attitude.......and THEY OFFERED ME THE JOB!!!! subject to references of course...but they should be fine!! yay!!! not sure when I'll start, but its such a relief, and a job that I REALLY wanted!

I did a nice weather dance today - so hopefully the weather will stay fine for the airshow, and here, as H and OH are at the football......!!!

~~~~~~~to everyone else! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
