Morning Ann and All. It is quiet on the boards at the moment. I think it is down to the gardening season, well, it is for me at least. Also, the holiday season is also kicking in aswell.
Have a good day all, will be on and off the boards myself, because, yes, you have guessed it, the garden beckons.
Have a good day

Good morning Maz, Ann and Julia, and our Daffy if she should drop in. Lovely day here, am just having my coffee fix and then off to the park. I shall probably go hunting for more plants today (not in the park! lol) because there is never enough is there? lol Day off so lots to do.

Have a Happy Wednesday everyone.

Good morning Maz, Julia and BC. I did wonder where the plants were coming from BC Lol!!!

I am off into town today to see if there are any bits and pieces I need for the holiday. can't think of anything but something might 'come to me'! OH playing golf again today,yesterday was a match at his old club and today is his normal club day here. But why are men so obstinate (and the older they get the worse they are). His arm is hurting/stiff but will he give up playing to rest it?? No of course he wont, he'll just go on pulling hurty faces and holding it for sympathy (as if!!)
And..... I do wish he wouldn't make decisions. I* bought peppermint tea bags Monday so that there would be some here for when we came home. There is an opened box already in the cupboard but they will lose flavour in a month. So what does he do before I can stop him this morning ? yep! he opens the new packet and ignores the open one Grrrr!!!

Rant over, he's lovely really!!

Hi BC, Morning, I do so agree with you, there are never enough plants.
In early spring, I sit with my note book, and in my mind's eye, I go round the garden and plan what I want for each hanging basket, window box,tubs, etc, and I always undercalculate, hence my never being away from a garden centre at this time of the year.
I went to another town shopping yesterday, and outside a greengrocers, on the edge of the car park, they had some Calla Lilies. Well, I just had to have two, and some Tagates to grow with my Tomatoes. So, before I had hit the town proper, I had already spent £20.
Aswell as the garden centres, I am a sucker for plants that they have in M****sons, and regularly pick up a couple on my Friday shopping trips. I have a tropical border down one side of my garden, and amongst all the green foliage, I like to drop pots of dramatic plants for a bit of interest and colour.
Today, in my notebook, I am formulating a list for my next garden centre trip (tomorrow). It is never ending. We have four garden centres on our 'door step' each that is better for somethings than the others. As they have given out wet weather for us over the weekend, I feel a visit to one that has alot of 'stuff' and is a little further afield is on the cards. Agh well ,if I can't get into the garden, then the garden centre is the next best thing. And, I do get a good lunch and coffee out.
Good luck with your plant hunting today.

Morning all... Daff reporting for sick parade, lolol

Stayed in my bedroom all day yesterday, alternating between dozing and sorting out my summer stuff... I was on the big guns, so high as a kite., lol.

Part of the dozing sessions was accompanied by three of the felines and one little princess... all of us snoring gently, it seems, lolol

A lot better today, but still sore, so I think I'll be off for more steroids, soon. We'll see how it pans out once my body has got used to the exercises, lolol
See you all later.

Love

Morning all.... it is beginning to ease nicely, thank you.... blame the hormones, lolol... they do seem to make it worse, you would think that at my age my body would know better than still to be having them, lolol!!

Oh.... and what is a clout???? How will I know not to cast it out if I don't know what one is?? *frets* wmsl

Mummo, you are never boring!! Is Ed's diary helping him???

~~~~~~ to Maz... Pot and Kettle spring to mind, here, lolol!!
Thank you Jean ~~~~~ and ((((hugs)))) back
Julia, I would love to see your garden!! It sounds just wonderful...
Ann, did any *must have* bits and pieces throw themselves into your shopping basket? lolol
I shall go back to bed soon.... Littlie is going back a day early this time, so I do feel as though I should be making the most of her visit!! Son has a meeting on Saturday at the University to discuss his research project...
A little bit dull today, so we are off to buy summer sandals and plimsoles later, too.
Have a lovely day, whatever way you spend it.
Daff, no matter how I tried I just couldn't find anything to buy yesterday except quite a nice T shirt reduced from £5 to £3.50 in M&S Outlet and a pair of 'keep your tummy in' knickers, lace shorts half price in M&S Outlet. And I think I looked in every shop in town!!! There seemed to be rails and rails of sizes 10s and 12s in all the shops. So I came home routed in the wardrobe and found a pair of light weight trousers still with the label on that needed taking up, took those up last night so feel virtuous now at saving money!!!
Wakey Wakey! Morning all:)) Was woken up at 7AM by a cousin and by the time I had found my teeth and my heart had stopped bumping, because at that hour, it is usually bad news, she had gone but I forgive her as she is getting very old and is a bit eccentric...lol...so on with the day.
So proud of you that you didnt manage to spend much yesterday, Ann and to Daff, I do hope you are feeling a bit better now and that you have a lovely day.
The weather looks hazy but warm and there was a lot of rain during the night.
Bye for now...mwahhh! BC XX
Morning all.... it is chucking it down here, but the little icon on my pc tells me that there might be a bit of sunshine later.... I do hope so!
BC I am much better today, and my exercises are beginning to hurt less, so they must be doing some good, lolol I hate it when the phone rings at an unusual hour.... as you say, you immediately think *bad news* I do hope your little heart has stopped atrembling and your teeth are in the correct position.......
Ann, lolol
Ginnie, you'll be fine, I am sure! Goodness, that has come around quickly, your holiday, I mean. Have a wonderful time.... where are you going again? Really, I can't keep up with all you gadabouts, trips to here there and everywhere, lolol
Well, have a lovely day.... I have some sandwiches to sort... Littlie is going home today, as B has an interview at the university tomorrow, to plan out his Research topic for his Masters. He is really excited, bless him.
See you all later, when they have gone and I need cheering up!
Daff, you will be used to the coming and going now I should think.
I am gradually submerging under a pile of packing, why is it always so difficult to know what to take and what to leave out???? Sunny here so far, washing on line so hope it stays that way.
