Lol BC I hope you have not worn yourself out singing.
I hope Daff has had lots of cuddles by now and that littly is tucked up in her little bed.

Erm..... I wrote a really really long reply to this earlier.... and it isn't here.... Oh B**!!

I have had loads of cuddles.... youngest brother came for a couple of hours.... niece is lovely, brought her best friend.... who loves crafts so was in seventh heaven when I gave her control of my stuff, lolol..... Littlie arrived, and was soon absorbed with craftwork... turns out friend is a Queens Guider and helps out with Rainbows and Brownies....

Am now off to bed, and BC... please gargle with TCP or Whiskey.... or Gin... it'll sort out the Marlene Dietrich tones sommat beautiful!!

morning all
well what a lovely day i had yesterday ,I was treated to a destress pre wedding treat .I was taken to Bowness we went on Wiindernere had a walk around Ambleside then back on the steamer back over to Bowness then we had a picnic .on the way we stopped for a coffee in Kirby stephen the weather was gorgeous but I am shattered today
.so today i am going to get a break as well as do some chores .my house will never be spotless lol not with two cats and a son lol

I love Windermere/Ambleside/Bowness, though it is some years since I last went. And sailing down Lake Windermere is just awsome. Hope to do it again someday. Glad you enjoyed it.

Well won't be doing anything today, just cooking the roast and son will bring his washing round ( he has just move and needs to get a plumber in to do the washing machine)

Maz, it sounds like you had a wonderful day yesterday, but you deserved a break, you have been working so hard... I have never been to the Lakes... I got as far as Kirby Stephen a couple of years ago... we went to a lovely wedding in a fantastic castle-like place there... can't remember the name at the moment but it will come to me... I was so exhausted though... and came back to start all the blood tests that led to my diagnosis 6 weeks later... no wonder I was knackered!!

Julia, I had friends years ago from Derbyshire... I have been not to there place, but a child I worked with in a special school was fostered by a family in Derbyshire... went a couple of times for case conferences, and to the home to collect or take back this child when there was a problem with out of county transport.... but I always went with my boss, and haven't a clue where it was. It must have been close to the Notts border, I would imagine.... the school was in Leicestershire, but close to the Notts border... so we sometimes had children from further afield.

I would like to see it properly, one day.... in fact, I reckon there should be meets up that neck of the woods, lolol!

Madam is upstairs on daddy's computer now... she has had her breakfast, and half of mine, is all dressed in her pink chav stuff - bought by me for her to doss around the house and garden in, and which includes a pink hoodie, lolol

We have galloped the unicorn around the magic circle... I couldn't resist a pink unicorn in Wyevale a couple of days ago, when I went out to play with sister and niece.... it makes a galloping sound and then neighs if you press it's ears!. Eat your heart out Peppa Pig, it is the week of the unicorn!! Grampy and daddy are already groaning in despair.... but we think it is fabulous, Littlie and me, lol

I had a really busy day yesterday.... but did not a thing!! I was constantly on the phone to one sibling or another... then brother and family arrived.... and then I fell exhausted into bed... R did all the vacuuming, cleaned the loos, did the dishes, etc bless him.

I think daddy has evicted her, lol.... I can hear her on the way down the stairs.... so I shall see you all later!

Still sunny here although we were promised showers and the garden could do with some rain. Off to Dunhelm this morning (OH's suggestion not mine) for coffee and a look round.

Maz, lovely taking the steamer down Windermere. When we are up there we usually buy an old day lake ticket so have unlimited access to the boats. We go all the way down from lakeside to Ambleside. Glad you had a good day out.

Maz I'm so glad to hear you had a wonderful trip yesterday, the Lakes are a favourite of mine too and imo everyone should visit. We're lucky to live fairly near and can go for day trips, I have sweet memories of going when younger with my parents, and later paddling/swimming in Ullswater with my children & then grandchildren.lol

Daff have a lovely time with your Littlie and I hope everyone has a pleasant Sunday

Evening all:) Had a busy day arranging flight to Dublin, coach to west of Ireland, visits to my old school friend, rescuing a poor woman whose husband was shouting at her in the street, etc etc ...

Was originally booked for 6 May but have changed it to end of May, Ann, so I can fit in a visit to my grandhildren...I miss em! XX When are you off?

I have had a wonderful time..... Littlie was a little star.... and posed happily for photographs... Brother and sister in law have been accepted as foster carers, most of the family were there.....

BC.... I am trying to work out a trip to Blackpool to see our older littlie.... haven't seen her since New Year, and it is her birthday next weekend. They are going away, though, and I miss her so much... Younger Littlie and I are building up a terrific bond, and I wish that it was the same with Princess, but much as I love her, she is still a bit shy around us, and just as she is coming around, off they go back home. Sigh.

I am intrigued re the domestic battle, lolol.....

Off to bed now.... very tired, and have physiotherapy tomorrow, lolol..... should be good!

morning Daff and all, lovely to see littlie is back with you, I always like reading about her visits , I have been waiting to see how many more buds open on the camelia J bought me two years ago ,there is just one red bloom, I was so hoping to take a pic of a bush full. my daff one hasnt any showing yet I am wondering if it is in the wrong place it is at the rear of the house as we have no garden , and the sun doesnt come on the back until later, I may see if I can swap places to the front....
I havent been on here much , get hooked on crafting I lose all track of time,
but havent forgotten you all, have a good day...

hi folks just a quick wave before going out again lovely washing day bright and breezy .

BC we fly on Sunday for 4 weeks, stay overnight in Hayes on Saturday. I will be here sometimes though as I will have my notebook with me.
