It was on offer at Aldi, £3.99 for 20 pages,I think it would look very effective with scenic photos...but I have seen some in Staples and Range I think,
Glad you liked it...

I will have to keep my eye open Jean thanks.
Daff you have achieved finding your curtain hooks, It is not why you put them there that puzzles me but why you thought to look there. Did you think, Ah curtain hooks, I will look in my knicker drawer? Or did you go to your knicker drawer for knickers and find them Lol!!!!!

What is this programme called Daff that you are trying to download? maybe you have to activate something for it to happen.

wmsl.... well, a girl can't go rummaging in the shed on a cold spring morning without her thermals, can she? lol.... seriously... I had a shower.... and got dressed..... so had a rummage... and there they were... 5 packets of 25 curtain hooks. They must have been on special offer or something! ;¬))

The programme is called StellarPhoenix photo recovery, and has had some excellent write ups... so I have bought it. I know how dodgy I can be with techno stuff... and it would seem that this is easy to use as well. When I get it.

And cheaper than PC World, lol!

I might go and do some puzzles.... I can cheat and look at the answers on those, lol ;¬))

Just had a walk around the 'estate' and all the crocus are suddenly in flower as well as Dutch Iris and a few helebores. Some of the helebores got frosted a couple of weeks back but others are just very late. The crocuses are beautiful though.

I have just heard of a friend whose first grandchild has been born at 24 weeks and is one pound. Apparently another couple of days and there is an 85% chance of survival. Can you imagine a baby that small. I do hope she survives.

I have tried 3 times thismorning to add to this.... and it keeps dropping me and going back a page after I have typed in an essay!!... I am off to get rid of IE8 (I tried yesterday but it wouldn't let me) and re-install Firefox... I am getting sooooo frustrated with this.

Cooker or new pc? One needs to be replaced, lolol~~~~~~~~ to all and I shall be back later.

Right..... let's see if this behaves itself now.... oh, and I have pretty flowers stretched across the toolbar thingy, lol.... very therapeutic!!

I will then do a scan... I am being told that I need to update my security settings... but AVG tells me I am fully covered, lol....

Oh.... this is working.... it isn't jumping and leaping all over the place!!

Love

Daff.... off to do a scan xxxxxxxx

Definitely PC Daff, buy what you use most!!! then when you can't cook meals R will decide 'he' needs a new cooker!!!

Have you found any photos with this new programme yet?

MrDaff

MrDaff Report 9 Mar 2010 10:30

lol Ann..... great minds think alike!!

No, I haven't.... and there has been a bit of a problem.... had an e-mail last night about 9.30, to say that they hadn't yet had confirmation of my payment from Paypal... but I have the receipt from Paypal confirming payment.

The seller wanted me to click on a link, which would take me back into the sales voucher, and then to re-submit to Paypal... like, yeh!!

I have e-mailed Paypal, and the seller.... not heard anything back yet, but hey ho... last couple of days have been a bit like that, lol.

I have had *brick wall* days... should be ok tomorrow if I take it easy today, and at least I am not aching like I was, lolol But my mind is like a fog, very muzzy... sort of hangover-ish only without the enjoyment of the bottle, lolol

I am now back on Firefox... and found a very pretty header thingy, so my GR page is now all pale greens and pretty pink flowers... very soothing. Also back on GR SA so have lost all those annoying and distracting flashing adverts.... they really confuse me when my head is dodgy, lol.... puts me off logging in, to be honest with you...

Oh well... lets go and research new pc's... it is our anniversary next month.... and 10 years on the 4th since I gave up smoking.... so I deserve a treat, lolol The factthat R spoils me rotten (most of the time) is neither here nor there.... ;¬))

Loads of love

Well at least you panicked T into copying all my and his photos onto our external hard drive, which caused him to comment on the number of photo files I have on my PC Lol!!!!! Still that is done, we thought he had done it before but then he could only find programme files on the thing. Now he has done it and checked and the photos seem to be there OK.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 9 Mar 2010 17:27

Have you given up on your photos daff now you are all enthusiastic in the garden? Or have you found them and not said?

MrDaff

MrDaff Report 9 Mar 2010 17:43

Hiya Ann.... no, I am quite dispirited, really... I am waiting to hear back from Paypal.... meanwhile, going around in circles again, and the head is in a fog... so I have distracted myself before I go nuts, lol... no comments, lolol!! R will have a proper look at the weekend for me... he is far more patient than I am, and I just want to cry over them, which does no good at all, does it? Best to walk away and occupy myself with other stuff.

That is what I had done... the files are there, but they are empty. well, apart from half a dozen of the Christmas tree baubles and the one of S on Christmas morning!

I think the sunshine gets the gardening urge going, doesn't it? And I can't decide on the last bit of one page, the finishing off of my card for my mother, and the other page of Littlie trying to do up her buttons one morning, lol

So... I started making lists of the veg I want, while I contemplated my scrapbook pages... I was going to put them onto a calendar on my pc (the gardening jobs, notthe scrapbook pages, lol) so that I would be able to see what I was supposed to be doing when... then I dug out the two tins full of seeds we have here..... some have to be thrown... but we have loads left from last year, so I wonder if they would be ok? THey have been kept in a Quality st tin.... well, two tins, actually... so are well dry and look ok.

I have loads of seeds.

I now need to get the compost...... I'll send B out in a day or so.....

Oh well, let's start on dinner..... see you all later.

Sometimes seed packets have a use by date on them, have you checked? if they were new last year they should be OK this.

MrDaff

MrDaff Report 9 Mar 2010 17:52

lolol Ann.... i never even looked!! What a numpty!! Many are new last year

Some are *coughs*a little bit older.

I did throw away the ones in the cardboard box... the mice had been nibbling at those, lolol

wmsl....... I didn't even think about them going out of date!!!

MrDaff Report 10 Mar 2010 10:06

Good morning all.... a bit of a cloudy start to the day, but Real Radio has assured me that the sunshine will be along in a while... it is just having a lie in cos it has worked hard over the last couple of days.... above and beyond the call of duty and all that, lol ;¬))

I feel much brighter this morning.... I will finish off the card and pages today.... nothing else, just those.

It has now been confirmed that the payment for that programme has been received, so that is ok... I felt like a blinking criminal!

R has gone off to work with a lunchbox fit for a king, lol..... ham, herb salad sandwiches, with baby toms, a flask of home made chunky chicken soup with multi seed rolls to dunk, a creamy yoghurt, two mini snickers, a bag of nuts and raisins.....

That means I don't have to worry about dinner tonight.... B and I can have pasta, or something.... R will happily have egg and chips.... sorted!!

Jethro's paw looks sooooo much better now, at long last.,... and Pol has found a new lease of life.....

We have three new cats hanging around... two of them are massive bruisers.... they have all been in during the night.... Peg sends them packing, three legs or not.... god she is fearsome!!

Maz, sounds like you have your work cut out for you ....... have a good time, though.

BC I have a suspicion I shan't get those photos back, now.... but R will have a good look around for me at the weekend.... he understands instructions, I don't, lol...... No park this morning?

I have had a shower..... and got into a clean and comfy pair of jim jams... they do look like a track suit thingy, so that is ok.... but I know that they are jim jams, and it feels deliciously decadent... I mean, I have stayed in jim jams regularly, until I have finished the *dirty jobs* and then gone for a shower and got dressed.... but to shower and then put clean jim jams on at 8.30 am... well, that is decadent, that is!! *giggles*

Son has said that today, he will clean and wash my car for me... for me.... I like that!! He is the one who is using it, and has turned it into a rubbish tip!!

He also said that he will lift the leaves... the ones he said he would do 5 months ago, but never quite got around to.

Oh..... and the windows. He will do the windows... we have a pressure hose thingy... but I still pay someone to come in and use one on the conservatory and windows every 6 weeks.....so let's see if these jobs get done!!

I am not holding my breath, lololol!! However... R is on the case.... so the nagging will come from him, not me. ;¬))

Well... off to play, lol.... see you all later.....

Love

Daff xxxxx
