Morning all 2 weeks to half term lol

Good morning all, OH got a bit of a cough (*groan, hope he keeps it to himself!) so has decided against golf, yesterday he said we'd go to cheltenham, today he's decided no we wont. I do soooo like to know what I am doing.

So I have gone from 'me' time with my crafting or writing, to coffee round the garden centre. Oh well, I can craft later. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all:-) Am just back from the park and am off to the west end to get a few things for the grandchildren and look at some books. I also popped in to my Drs and was very miffed to find they had forgotten to give me some forms for eye hospital appointment. So I slammed their door and felt lots better! lol Hope Daff is not too exhausted and has taken the phone off the hook:-)

Went to the dentist this morning, only clean & polish thank the Lord,so okay (fingers crossed) till another 6 months

Wakey Wakey! lol Morning all and hope Daff is having a lie in. What a stunningly beautiful Moon/Mars sight that was night, and not a cloud in sight! Even the Bulgarian paused in mid yak to admire it. Am off to the park now as the sun is trying to shine. Hope you all have a good day.

morning we have a dusting of snow again here

Morning all.... beautiful sunny day here, but very cold....

Mau, I thought I heard a door being slammed really hard, too, lol *wonders what BC's Bulgarian is doing to the poor yak*.. I tried to learn how to milk them, on a thread years ago.... I wondered where all the yaks went!!;¬))

I saw the moon and Mars last night, how beautiful!! Absolutely stunning. We have had three beautiful full moons on the trot, now, how unusual must that be?... I shall download the photos soon... there are two that show Mars, but I don't think they are wonderful. I know what is on my wishlist, and that is another lens for my camera!!

Family drama has now been deposited right back with dramatic family members... they will have to cope. I can no longer provide the high level of support they need. And I feel so much better for having stated my case, lol, very liberating, better even than burning of bra's, I think.

Maz, two weeks? that is no time at all. This month has just zipped by, hasn't it?

Ann, is T feeling better today? You will have to have that meal out that you were looking forward to, today. ;¬))

I am taking a couple of minutes out from gathering and sorting all Littlie's clothes and stuff.... I am keeping a good bit back, I have put all the *too small stuff* into a carrier bag in her case, if it comes back again I shall know it is deliberate. I have packed all her *just about fits stuff* as well... she will only be wearing it another month or so before she has outgrown it, and it would feel churlish if I didn't send it back. But everything I have bought this month, I have kept here.

My word I am being assertive..... it feels pretty good, lol And I have been assertive nicely, usually it's cos I have lost my rag, therefore lose the plot, lol... so end up apologising and going back to how it was... not very effective, is it, for such a strong person in so many other ways. But I do have a tendency to let my family use me as a doormat and doorprop.

Right.... that's enough of the whinging... poor Ann has had loads of it, lol Mwah, thank you, and I have listened and acted on your good advice.

Right.... back to packing... it is very easy... I tell her what to fetch, she goes and fetches it, plus other bits... we have a discussion over whether it is to go or stay.... and I am winning more often than losing, lol Mind you... she haggles well, lolol

It snowed here really hard last night and now it's lying about 5 inches,beautiful sight BUT!.... so we couldn't see the sky for snow falling brrrr

Afternoon Ladies, not doing much today as everything is up together, l do have to go to the supermarket in a while to get some veg and bread but that won't take long.
With Ed layed up at the moment l am reading a lot, was lucky managed to buy a few books in Asda's on offer for a £1 each.

That week has soon gone, when is Littley with you again? Hopefully Mummy will get the message that you know what she is playing at.

T seems to have almost lost his cough. He didn't cough at all last night and only a couple of times today.

We have been to Cheltenham on the bus and had lunch at La Tasca which was very nice, we started off going to Wetherspoons (The one we went to Daff), but there was not one single table free. We went in to get the Euros for March when we go to Spain, apparently they are at a fairly good price, so that is that out of the way. strange how, when walking through a black top leapt off the rail at me though. It was really cold in town though so we didn't linger and were home by 3pm. (didn't get in to Cheltenham until 11.30.

Anyway Daff, glad to see all is well for you now.

morning our dusting has well and truly frozen here .around us its bad but here we have been lucky ,The dale has it bad again

bright and sunny and frosty here today, and bird watch or no the birds have been on hunger strike, didn't see nearly as many as usual in my hour.

Lovely frosty morning and sun is shining. And yeeeehawww the Bulgarian has gone home! lol she is really such a nice woman I feel guilty for being delighted she has left! Have loads of things I should catch up on and then my little boy comes for a few days.

Hope Daff is resting and taking things easy.

Afternoon all......son hasn't got back yet.... I was expecting him back about 5 am, so am getting a bit concerned, but no news is good news. He has gone up to Scarborough... we have had a very heavy frost here and it is still icy... R has been out twice to smash the water.... and the rene (stream) at the back of us has frozen over, too.

I have had a thoroughly lazy day... paid some bills online, spoken to our older granddaughter... so full of her trip to Liverpool yesterday, on the train, to watch Holiday on Ice, then have a meal and go on the big wheel... presumably similar to the London Eye? Anyway... horse-riding lessons are out now, for the summer, and ice-skating lessons are in... she said she would like to be in next years' show. She is only 4, bless her!! That was our main present to them all..... they had loads of other stuff, but this was the big one!! Well worth every penny by the sound of it.

I am freezing!!

Lol BC..... I still refer to my 6ft 2in 35 year old as my baby, lol, and the older boy as our little lad... they soooooo hate it!

I am off back to bed for an hour..... just to warm up, I think!
