Glad to see you are recovering Jean.

We have just been down to Blooms for a trip out, it is a very cold wind here today sow e didn't go outside much. Half the garden centre now is franchised with Cotton traders, Dash, The Works, Yeomans, a shoe shop. Makes it interesting. Oh yes and the shops nearby are Laura Ashley and Cargoe.

On the way back we followed a car with a sticker in the window that i had not seen before. It said, the closer you get the slower I go!

Then when we got out of the car I was licked all over by the frisky Sheltie puppy next door, Jake is gorgeous but he is a bit of a handfull, still very young but they certainly know they have got him. They have had several Shelties before, all of whom died fairly young. apparently they don't have a long life expectancy.

Jean, I hope you are feeling fighting fit soon.... has J had his year check up yet? I am having a wonderful time with her.... she is mostly a little poppet.... but I have to say it was nice to have some *me* time today!!

Ann is that the new Blooms? I went there once or twice when it first opened, just before we moved back to Wales. It was very impressive, then. It might be worth another visit.

Right.... off to browse around... I have some feedback to give and then bo bo's, lol!

Love

Daff xxxxx

I shall be in bed fairly early, I think...... I am falling over as I type

Morning Maz, I can only see drooping and dead things in my patio! lol the first year I gambled on a Bougainvilea and the first year London has had heavy frost for years. Ah well, will have to plan a replant:-) Nice day here, dog woke me up early barking at someone who opened my gate. The Bulgarian has landed loaded with wine and presents so what can I say? lol Hope you enjoy the day Daff, and try to pace yourself! Mwahhhh BCXX

Morning Maz and BC. enjoy your visitor BC.

Don't give up on the bougainvillae just yet, just in case it sends up shoots from the roots. But I guess it should have been protected from frost really. What a shame.

No frost here today as far as I can tell. OH gone to golf, I may go into town.

Morning Ladies,
Frost here this morning, was quite cold last night Ed said when he woke at 3.00am he was freezing (well he would if the duvet had come off the bed), lol.
BC, wonder what you'll be drinking tonight !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ann, enjoy your shopping trip.
Maz, how lovely that the birds sing to Gismo, lol.
Won't wake Daff........she needs her sleep, wonder what delights she has in store today.
Well dinner is on in the slow cooker , some washing to do so hopefully a easy day.
Hope you all have a jolly day, xxxxx

Morning all.... restless night, Littlie was awake a couple of times, coughing... ok otherwise, and went straight back to sleep... I didn't get up to her, daddy did, but my ear is still finely tuned for a child's cry so I was woken, and it takes a while to fall back off to sleep, sometimes.

She is in the shower at the moment... daddy has that job today, so there is a short break from Ceebeebies and Peppa Pig... although to be fair to her, as far as dvd's go, we are diversifying now, and have watched Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella this morning, so I am one very pleased granny.

They are taking her bike to the park in a while.... I am going to stay here in the warm, lol... I have a bit of ironing to do, and a book to read. I had it for Christmas, but I have not been very good at settling down with a book for a couple of years now... my concentration goes out the window. I think I shall manage this one though, it is a true story about a library cat.

Right.... empty tumble dryer, fold, iron, reload from completed wash in machine, lol........ how does one little girl generate so much washing?

Love

She'll certainly enjoy her bike ride in the park though.

Not noticed any bulbs coming through yet Maz,but I was really pleased to see Fruity the Blackbird is back, sitting on the fence 'calling' for his breakfast,we thought he'd emigrated to warmer climes!

Hope Eddie has a better sleep tonight Mummo and doesn't lose his covers,..you'll have to pegemmon lol

Hello and ~~~~~~~~to all,
Just popped in to say afternoon, nothing planned for today but I must motivate myself and get some more H...work done.

It's amazing how much washing 1 littlie can make but I love to see a child doing stuff they enjoy no matter how mucky they get , they grow up so quickly and if you're not careful you miss such precious times. It's great being a Nan isn't it.?

Just back from town, quite a cold wind again here. Though I wouldn't stay out to lunch like I usually do but come back for me time. However OH was in earlier from golf than I expected so was here before me. And as I was going to say to him 'you're early', he said to me 'you are early'!!!!

I was a bit loaded though so couldn't walk to the Quays as I had hoped.

Where is everyone on here today.

We did the tesco run this morning then this afternoon I have been trying to bring order to this room, I seem to make it more untidy as I go and keep finding things to not throw out. Have a pile of FH magazines which I have just put in a carrier bag. Not sure what to do with them, maybe the fairies will spirit them away!!
