it is very wet and cold here it has been really good to be back in a normal routine this week .

Good morning all, now the question is..... Will we see Daff today, is she stuck into her scrap book or buried under all little missy's stuff? or has little missy arrived and she is just engrossed in cuddles?

*waves to Maz....Morning all, pouring rain and very grey here but hey ho it is Friday! *does cartwheel over thread. Hope my crochet bedsocks are coming on a treat Daff and I do hope you can turn a heel? If not, it can always be used as a scarf so no worries:-)

I am using delaying tactics re park walk as it looks so awful out there and dog is still asleep and not really bothered..lol...

Sorry Mau, the year seems to be flying, I didnt realise we were into the next horoscope sign already.

Pouring here and my stupid OH (love him!) is playing golf. I told him it was going to rain but no, it was dry so the weatherman had got it wrong. Huh!!! He will be soaked and guess who will have noooo sympathy?

Oh my poorly head!! I am afraid that I got stuck into a bottle of sherry... and I really don't have the stamina for it... I was snoring on the sofa by 9... it seems I refused to get up cos I was comfy... but that sofa really isn't comfy at all... woke just after three all cramped up.... I took myself to bed, got up at 9... and came down to a little note from son saying he had left at 3am... he was going to leave at 6 am... anyway..... and I had not heard a thing!!

So, now I don't know when she is coming down... she isn't very well... just a cold the doctor said, but he might leave it until tomorrow before coming back.

So, this morning I have really cracked on.... not!

I have finished another page... the one I thought I had ruined, has been revamped.... full of bling... well, I had to hide the glue drips somehow... and I love it... might be a bit ott for some, but I think that might be my style, lolol

Littlie's bedroom is gradually turning from a lovely bright and cheerful yellow room into a very girly pink!! I do love it though. Just her new bath towel (yep, brightest pink, lol) to dry and drape over the radiator... and we are done in there.

I must clear away all my own craft stuff, and get hers out..... she had a little *first camera* from mummy for Christmas.... I do hope she brings it down, as she can print her pictures off and turn those into a mini holiday book for mummy..... son is keen for her to do that, and enjoys it with her.

The cats know that there is something in the air, too.... they are revisiting all their hidey-holes today.... well, except Jethro.

Well, break over... must get on..... paracetamol has taken effect, lol I have sc.... er, I mean socks to crochet... and sequins to sew... and stuff like that......

Ann... a big pile of ironing for T to do will warm him up when he gets back.... would you like some of mine to give him to do????

Lol! Daff, you just do not learn do you? Hope the headache stays away, nothing worse than sherry for a hangover, unless it is red wine, or whisky, or white wine, or gin, or brandy or.... or...... Try water!

Might be as well if son hangs on a day or two before bringing littly down, she wont travel well with a cold and will be miserable leaving Mummy. Also, a big consideration, you do not want to catch it. Although if son catches it......

T did our ironing yesterday so none for him to do. He only played 9 holes and came in moaning about wrong weather forecasts, but got no sympathy!!

Too late, Ann... I had the sniffles, sneezes and runny nose start last night... it is probably why the sherry hit me so badly ... 3 glasses, I should have been squiffy, but not legless... it wasn't even proper sherry, but weaker, Fortified British, lolol

I have just found a bottle of coke... I am letting a glass lose it's fizz, and I shall drink that.... it usually helps me, lol

Poor T.... all wet and bedraggled, and not an ounce of sympathy from you, cruel woman that you are ;¬))


I have some chocolate digestives in the cupboard.... bought for littlie, but I might just have one with a cuppa in a minute. I have earned it.... I have made a start on clearing the craft stuff!!

Good morning Daff and hope you are feeling all right (Sherry is the very worst thing for hangovers!) and Littlie has arrived and all is well:-) A rather grey uninteresting looking day here and just listening to the radio where we are warned to be 'extra vigilant' because of the threat of terrorism, am not sure exactly what is meant by that...hey ho and also Jean Simmons just died. I remember her in Great Expectations, she was so good and so beautiful.

Oh yes, loved Jean Simmons in The Robe.

Just snook on while Littlie and son have a nap.... they arrived at 12.30 am ish, and madam had been awake most of the journey... a glass of milk, a couple of biscuits and a quick wander around making sure all was as she'd left it... a bit of a whimper cos the Christmas trees had gone... but her new baby Annabel doll soon put a smile back on her face.

Today we have been in the garden feeding the birds and renewing scooter and bicycle skills.... we have created a couple of artistic masterpieces... played with playdoh.... made a trifle, done the shopping (she has a market stall here, it even has a cheque book and credit card, lol) and then we made the dinner... sausage and mash, by special request... except that the requester has fallen fast asleep! Daddy is on the other sofa snoring gently.... and I am about ready to dish up dinner, lol.... never mind, it'll keep.

Better get back into action.... she is stirring!
