13.17pm.
I still have my sons sledge up in OH's workshop. Might have to get it out if this carries on.
We have had a little snow but nothing to speak off and the road is still clear.
We are going to Holsworthy this afternoon to get chicken food etc.
Hope Frank and Ros are ok and can get there and back again.
Thinking of our Ann too. Can we see the new pics of the foal please?

Hi can not read previous threads can not find the pages ; I hope everyone is coping in this awful weather. It was nice this morning braved the park and walked the dogs.
We salted our shop front now its snowing thick flakes again but the trouble was a leaking pip and dripping water and it turning to ice where I fell over and cut my scalp open but its fine now will have a scar I think but it does not hurt. There is a post where people tie the dogs and I fell on it. The doctor called and did the same fell over he came in the shop dressed as Father Christmas and helped us put salt down my ho was up the ladder stopping the pipe leaking all over the front. The doctor was going to a childrens party at the hospital. The doctor said you should be resting to me having had flu and a blow to the head but I feel fine.
I think if anyone is getting a lot of calls phone the operator and have them blocked thats what we do. We phoned the police several times perhaps police are different dealing with smaller areas. But our police station said they were to busy to deal with it..
Why is it the road people start digging up roads in winter it was terrible trying to get to the warehouse today the roads were blocked for road repairs and not just because of the weather.
My son went to the football last night Aston Villa Bham and got caught up in riots at the end of the match he had a seat thrown at him trying to protect a lady and a little boy he said it was awful.
I did see Mel you said a man lived near Birmingham airport and there was a plane crash there a plane delivering a liver it crashed and my niece was not able to go on holiday. It was sometime ago but she told me today.
I hope the snow stops soon April s got to get down from Wales to come to the ballet Cinderella at the Hippo in Bham with my daughter and me and little Maddie next door we are going to a matinee in the afternoon after having lunch which we booked at the theatre but thats next Thursday keeping my fingers crossed.
Driving is awful I had a chinese meal yesterday with Beryl and I had to leave my car a long way from her house and ring her to meet me.Beryl came out looking like a bear in a big fur coat and hat and a stole round here shoulders and those boots that make you look like a sheep. All Beryl could say was get yourself a decent car. charming as ever. I refused to drive back and she had to take a taxi because she was so rude.
Next doors cat was climbing up the window trying to get in it was so froze so I rescued him and took him in for some milk but the poor thing was so scared of the rascal Jasper he ran out the back door I shouted you ungrateful cat my neighbour who owns the cat and whoes fence is still on our lawn said who are you calling a ungrateful cat. I said not you but could not tell her it was her cat could I .My son in law was amused.
My son in law thinks Hannah Jane is very beautiful I showed him your pictures much to my daughters disgust she said hey watch it you. I thought it funny. My son in law is cute he brought me some flowers this morning after working at a freezing cold garage all night.

17.22 Glad you are home Mel.I hope Frank and Ros are home too.I didn't see them, maybe next time ,if they have to go to the same place. Fiona, that sounds a good idea to get your shopping done while there is a let up in the snowfall.
Sheila,I'm sure April will get to you in time for the Ballet.Surely the snow will have gone by then!!.I bet she is really looking forward to it. I see Beryl hasn't changed lolol.
Must go and stir the casserole (chicken) I can hear an Owl hooting somewhere. It sounds very close.

Casserole sounds very nice we are having a curry . I have had three phone calls from April grannie if it snows I will not be coming to the ballet but think it will stop by Thursday of next week Jane if not we will be snowed in.
I have to send a message because I cannot get any further than 310 and used to love to just read the threads I do not like this new arrangement much. I would love to hear a owl hoot its dead in our garden like everythings disapeared just dark and cold. The jungle is getting interesting I want Stacey to win I think it will be older against younger tonight I like the two youngsters its the elder pair I find catty. Give the young a chance I say. Running the youngsters down last night so she moaned about a dirty toilet good for her so would I mucky lot . I find both the girls cute.
No change from Beryl she is going out with a guy called Eric tonight do not ask where Donnie is I have asked her three times I get who cares. I have a two hour stint in the shop and igts cold take care everyone.

These pages certainly are very strange! mine go from 310-311-310 too, and keep going back to 1-10!!! wierd or what. It has been very gloomy here all day, with intermittant snow, well frozen rain really. The birds have been very busy pecking up all the seed we've put out, AND that blackbird had another bath!! He must have been frozen!! Gave the sitting room a really thorough clean this am, not before time!! and then spent the afternoon doing my Tree; A couple of rellies I haven't completely run to earth, so played around with Free BMD's and Ancestry!

My pages doing the same thing I just keep on trying and get there in the end. If you go to 300 and then try for more pages it seems to work.
Been down the freezer and we have a nice big pork chop each and some cheese and onion crisp bakes to go with them and peas. That should keep him quiet. Might do a sponge pud of some sort with cream or custard.

Birds have to bath whatever the weather as they can't oil there feathers unless they bath and the oil keeps the cold out.

Put the claws away Jane.!!! Poor old LU LU.
Up the Essex girls I agree with you Mel,
Had an eventful trip today. Loads of traffic on Mereway roundabout. then A45/A43 very busy. Got there in time that goodness.
The Orthopedic surgeon, examined Ros and her Scans, Bad news, He can't and won't operate. She has so much scar tissue, from the previous four operations, that he is frightened to do anything as he might catch a nerve, which would leave her paralized. He is leaving her on pain killers till new year, then he will have her back in for injections. She will not be able to drive for a few days as her back and right leg will be SOLID. He recons her left leg is also damaged and expects that to play her up in future. THANKS, so much everyone for your kind wishes.
Jane, So sorry we were unable to make it today. Ros didn't take any pain killers this morning, as she thought it would be better for the surgeon to see her as she was. We didn't take any with us. So as she was so un-comfortable when she came out, we drove straight home.

I hate long life milk !!It just tastes ..........not like milk.
I see Annie Lennox has a new CD out.I think she is absolutely BRILLIANT.I get goose bumps when I hear her sing.
