Hi all I will try again !!! just wrote out my events of the day and whoosh it was gone. didn't come through.
Right. Been shopping this morning with daughter no 2 and then went for lunch, we were freezing walking into town its cold ,wet, and windy just left my street hoping to get the bus and we just missed it , either it was early to day or I have got the bus times wrong !!! anyway we was glad to go straight for a coffee to get warmed up.
Did our shopping and daughter came home and I went to visit a friend from Church, we meet up every Wed for coffee, but I got a phone call yesterday to say her father had passed away and his funeral would be on Wednesday. so went to see her armed with flowers and a card.
Thanks for your pics Frank, like Lewis snowman.
Glad you got my pics Jane, & Mandy. after all I didn't think they had been sent last night, any ones who not got them let me know and I will send them

Afternoon All,
RAIN, RAIN, RAIN here and gusts of wind......I bet it is a bit wild where Fiona and David are.....could be snow up there later.
Fiona I didn't get your pics.......may I see them please?
David it is terrible what goes on these days I'm not surprised you are unsettled by it. So many stabbings these days. Today I was reading about the baby that died after it was put in a washing machine by it's junkie mum. It was a top loader.....I don't know, but it looked as if it would be difficult to do it accidently as the spinner/agitator came up to the hole in the top.......poor little mite!!!!
Frank, just keep sending the pics then you won't forget how!! lol I love the snowman and the 'girls'. That pretty yellow bush looks like a Kerria to me. When OH was based in Luton a few years ago I travelled down with him once to have a look around Luton. What struck me most was how sullen and unfriendly everyone looked and lots of youths about. I found myself hanging onto my handbag tight!!! lol I never went there with him again.
My OH loves toad in the hole Liz.........but we hardly ever have it cos I don't eat sausages very often. I shall have to do bacon in the hole....we would both like that!! lol

Ros, won't eat Toad in the hole, I loved it as a kid, all nice and crispy pudding round the edge and on the bottom, not like Janes soggy ones.!!!! Haven't had it for many years !!!! will have to make myself a small one and do her something else.
Almost dark here, and it's only 3.30pm. Lights and heating on. Rain is banging agaist conseravory windows, but nice and warm to read my book.
Ann, I will have to look up that bush. It looks a treat in the summer. (ROLL ON)

I'm fed up with these dark evenings already. Mandy we succumbed last night while we watched Downton Abbey.......opened that tin of chocs!!!!! lol Some left for tonight I think, unless OH has been nibbling today.

Hi Jane just popped on here to say the photoes of the barn owl are lovely lucky you being able to get such a close view and photoes. I saw my one and only siting at night in a tree and it was a white owl .I think I told you. It looked so spooky sat in the tree but was a lovely
I have been busy I went to see the Despicle 3 d film with my son and then went to a restaurant but just had beer battered fish and chips and it was a nice afternoon loved the film. But where ho takes 30 mins to get the the cinema son did it in just over 10 and left me shaking in my socks .I said do you ever drive slowly and he said that was slow. I was in a daze when I got out the car.I think my stomach was left at home. My daughter and I took the train to the NEC craft show we went in the art show ,christmas crafts ,and cake show all very nice spent a lot. It is at least a mile to walk from the station to the hall but got a shuttle bus back we went to a italian restaurant and had a prawn kebab on speggetti that had prawns and a very tasty sauce. Then chocolate and toffee ice cream. Out went my dibetic 2 diet. but with so many meatballs wanted a change.
Saturday was shopping for the week and yesterday we went to the Elan Valley in Wales before taking April home I got some very good pictures of the dams that supply Birmingham with water. Aprils been learning about the dams at school. Now back in Wales for school we got back at 10am and went to the cricket ground for a firework display and jacket potatoes. I am tired now up at 5am Sunday and on the way to Wales by 6pm was a long tiring day. I had promised to take the little boy next door to the fireworks could have done with my bed but that was nice too . Watching my diet this week though just had a call to visit the doctor for this latest blood test its is not good news if you have to visit the doctor for the result.
Aprils latest joke !! Where do you go if your doggies looses it tail answer the Retailors.
I watched the final part of Downtown Abbey it should be good when it returns next year and the wartime years.
My favourite programme is the apprentice its amazing though that they get any business going they argue so much. Lord Sugar sacked the one girl I hated last week for being so nasty about two other members.
I did not spend over my budget Amanda they had some wonderful embroidery .My friend asked for a set of green silks there are loads of greens, leaf green lime green grass green and many more and she asked for twelve and that was £ 24 85. When I gave her the bill she said oh I thought it would only about eight pound she gave me the money but insisted on seing the bill which I had put in the bag. I was not amused at the request. Mel I think I have said before I am not really good at water colour I can sketch small objects and water colour them and that is my limit but would love to see your mums painting. Shadows are difficult to get right.
Well had better go Teddy the adopted dog is having his tail pulled off right now by a jealous Jasper who is hanging on to it like mad and growling .
It was dark very early and is wet and cold. Will watch part two of the spooky Francesa Annis play about the couple whoes baby she is trying to steal nasty women. I hope it got a good ending. I ordered a christmas tree and lights a table top spruce for the 20th Dec they sold out last year and the one I did order was massive we had to cut it down to get it in the house. poor tree. it came from Scottish Trees. have a nice evening ladies xxsorry about your ordeal David the world is getting very nasty my son in law who is Tunisian was hit over the head coming back from work at 5am Saturday and was robbed he only had £4 and when the robbers knew this they kicked him so hard in the ribs he could hardly walk home. He is off work today and tomorrow doctors orders.

I had a go under my bed the other week .Ee by gum was it filthy.don't you find it awkward to hoover the whole bit under the bed.I keep having to heave and shove the bed around into different angles, then find I am pinned in a corner and all the extension lead etc is all tangled and just in the way .I always have to have a lie down after doing that job lol.It would be ideal if you could just hoist the bed off the floor on a pulley, clean and then lower it again. My bed weighs an asbolute ton too !!!

I've got a couple of spares.!!!!
Our bed is one of those that is flush to the floor, that lifts from the bottom, for all the storeage. so no dust under there. Ann was kind enough to tell me what that bush was. It's "KERRIA" a Japanese Rose. if you Goggle it you will see what it's like.
Beef and onions, with potato round the dish in gravy, plenty of veg. Will have to go and check on it. See you later.

I thought about going to the Craft Fair Sheila, but I would be bound to forget which carpark I was in!! It sounds as if it was really good. I think that is what is so nasty these days.......if you haven't anything to be robbed of, they have to beat you up as well.
Lovely pics Fiona. Strathclyde Loch looks very big and I see on the board that there is an ice house there. There are more of them about than I thought. Lovely blue skies .....you seem to be getting younger in your pics.....must be the fresh scottish air!!

Appalling weather we've had all day. Sleet and hail comming down sideways. I went to Ashington this morning.Just before I left to return home down the dual carriage way the sky went black and the heavens opened. Hail. Comming back along the dual carriage way I saw the strangest thing amid the horrendous weather. A Wansbeck District Council employee in the cente using a strimmer!! He's a hero. All his mates had gone home.
