David, It all seems to be going on up there. Think it's bad in most towns these days. I know in Northampton, there are guns, drugs, robbery.muggings. rapes. and murders. And this is suppose to be a quite market town. Glad I no longer live in London. and 5 milers from Town. Luton, is about 20 miles from here and that worse.

Oh david what a horrid experience being in the same town?village as the stabbing. Then the accident I bet you were glad to get back home safe and sound with Ellen.

I did feel agitated and strangely sad.
The whole neighbourhood seemed to be out in groups nearby.
The Police,if they haven't arrested the 2 youths will at least be able to identify them from the Co-op's cctv footage.
Shop proprieters and their staff must be feeling stressed.

Morning David and All,

Well we had a really windy night but this morning there's hardly a breeze. There is some moving clouds but it is quite bright. I have'nt ventured out yet to see if it's cold or not.

David I hope you feel a bit better this morning after your nasty experience yesterday.

It was announced on BBC new this morning that Police have a 26 year old and a 19 year old male in custody and are are not looking for any one else in connection with the incident.

A man was shot dead in Ashington, just 5 miles away.

All these awful shootings and robberys etc, it's just awful, makes you afraid to go out particularly at night. Another wet and dreary day, not helped by the fact that I can't access my e-mails as Hotmail are doing ,maintenance'!!! how long will that take?!!! will have to use OH's computer if it goes on, as I have a friend who I e-mail everyday, as he lives on his own, has terminal cancer and relys on cheer ups. Grrrrr it's SO frustrating! Wasn't 'Downton' GOOD last night, I did enjoy it and will miss it a lot. Away to walk Millie, lets hope normal service will have been resumed when I get back!!!!

GOON NIGHT ALL,!!!! It's so dark out there, it might as well be night. Rain and leaves blowing in the wind. Haven't been out yet. bul looks cold.

Well, I got my SON# E BOOK last night right in the middle of DOWNTON. What a time for an auction to finish. But after three days of missing them, It was good. and glad it's over. Should turn up later in the week. , Won't be allowed to use it. !!!! Christmas present from Ros and the boys. Will have to add books to it that I like.

Had my Family Tree turn up this morning, All sealed in a tube. Looks different when you can lay it out on the table, and follow the family back. !!! If any of you
fancy looking into having your tree printed I have an Email address and Telephone No.

David, were you a witness to these incidents, and will the Police need to talk to you. ???

Morning all,

Very windy here ,but dry so far, so the washing is on the line ,don't know how long it will be out as the dark clouds are forming , the wind is really taking the leaves from the tree's ,they seem to be collecting round the back door , but they can stay there today it's to blooming cold to go out and sweep them up !!!

David ,hope you are feeling better today, not so shook up, and now you say there was a shooting too and only five miles away ,that's awful ,the poor families .

I'am doing a nice Toad in the hole for tea tonight ,with plenty of veg and gravy.

Jane Report 8 Nov 2010 13:26

All the lights on here plus the heating !!.It's HORRIBLE.
How annoying Liz.That's it you take out your frustration on the CROSS word lol

Frank, lovely photos. What is the yellow bush, and is the snowman modeled on you??

Mandy I often do a Toad in the Hole ,especially when James is home from Uni.I do sometimes have a bit of trouble with a soggy middle lol.

MillymollyAmanda

MillymollyAmanda Report 8 Nov 2010 13:52

We've got the rain now ,did you see the snow they have up north ,hope it keeps up there !!!

More lovely photo's Frank , did you make the snow man?

Jane i think the trick with the toad in the hole to stop a soggy middle is having the tin really hot when you pour the batter in , i like to cook my sausages for a while and get then nice and brown ,i slice a little onion and cook with the sausages too, i have the oven on about 190 to cook sausages then turn oven up to 210 ,then add the batter mix .

So sorry you have a soggy middle Jane, we all have our cross's to bear. !!!!

Ros said she dosen't know what the bush is called, but it's one that came out of Morriso#s, Will try to find it in one of my books.

Have just spoken to Shirl, She's fine apart from OG. he's playing up again.

The Snow man was made this morning. HA HA. no Lewis made it in February. I was the model. bit cold around you know what. Now I have all my pictures, from way back. I find the ones I think you might like and will send them on.
You will wish you never asked !!!!
