CatieI was not able to go to Wales part of the M6 is flooded and that was another problem. Ryan Matts best friend came down on the train and April thought it was her daddy there was floods of tears but Ryan cheered her up with a puppy and aunty Beryl said call her Angel thats a nice name April said Oh yes because my dads one now.
I thought of you Catie and how the twins brought a tear to your eyes.

Beryl turned up and said anyone seen the film Buried Alive.I was stunned.but had to smile.
Ryan steped in very quickly and said Oh great Matts favourite film he loved that saw it in New York
go and see it and think of Matt some tears started to flow
he is gutted. But dear Beryl what do u do with her. I had to laugh she took April off to her house for the night to make necklaces with her old beads April went off really happy skipping down the path. shouting bye Rye nan . Her school is closed until Monday a tribute to Matt and a American choir is coming to sing at the church.April;
wants to stay with us we asked her. We have kept her ocupied between us. she is now like a mother hen looking after us.
Saw my old boss on the telly today Alan Titchmarsh with some lovely guide dogs for the blind.
Fiona spilled milk is awful it does smell. I showed April
Sofias photo and now shes called her doll Sofia

Mel did laugh at the crate comment hope your ho is ok
Jane hope your soap was nice.

I do not know where I will be at the week end maybe in Wales have a nice one bye sincerely SHEILA.

I would freeze some but it should keep in the fridge ok for a day or two. You can always have a little for lunch tomorrow. I know if my OH knows I have made a big batch he comes back for more.

Sheila did you see what you said about Jane's SOAP!!!! You silly billy.

Don't think Chris would have been too pleased if it tasted of Soap.

Hope you have a safe journey to Wales when you go.

Gosh I have just seen the time!!!! and I have'nt started dinner yet!!

I'm off....................................................................

Annx Report 1 Oct 2010 20:12

We both enjoyed it Jane, he is a very good actor. You have got me hankering after Scotch Broth now......I would just liquidise it if it went a bit sloppy after freezing. Just as nice piping hot with crusty bread.

Shirl, I hope your OH's foot is ok and your SIL....how would they manage without us? You have been kept busy then dashing here and there.

That Ice House is a bit spooky, it is next to woodland and I won't walk around the back of it on my own. Just behind it is a huge pond, but I don't know if that is just a coincidence or whether they all did. Maybe they kept fish in there and packed them in ice to take to the big house.

Mandy I must look my pins out and start my xmas socks!! lol

Ann, when i went to the wool shop the other day there was some lovely wool , i said to the lady oh i like this she said it was Sock wool , it was one of those balls of random colours ,4ply i think, i bet it would make some lovely warm socks for the winter !
i'am quite tempted to buy some and make socks to wear when i have my boots on .
Probably have to knit them on four needles ,but i'd give it a go !

Jane

Jane Report 1 Oct 2010 20:34

I think I should have reduced the amount .....I have 1 and a half litre's of the stuff.I could feed the whole of the world lol.Maybe I could find a soup kitchen for the homeless .Liquidizing may be a good idea Ann.

Dear Beryl is still coming up trumps then Sheila lol Little girls love playing with beads.

I bet that pond Ann would have been the fishpond for the big house. There is a field just down the road that used to contain fishponds

Shirl ,I hope your OG's foot is alright and your SIL is not in too much pain with that chipped Coccyx .

Morning all,
What a day yesterday, rained all day here, and cold with it. We never ventured out.

Had a SKYPE last night from Rutland Son. They are in St. Vincent in the Carribean. They had the web cam on, and showed us around the apartment and outside round the swimming pool. They said it's very hot and humid as they had had raid in the morning. They are 5 hours behind us. They are there for two weeks business/holiday.

Home alone again, Going to get the rest of the bulbs in this morning, while I've got the nice weather. It's going to rain again this afternoon, So they say !!!!

Hope your OH is comfortable Mel, and Mum continues to take a little food. I think you wrote a bit of Scottish "DOON"

Jane, What a good idea, to take the SOAP to the shelter, they could all have a good wash. !!!!

Frank

Frank Report 2 Oct 2010 12:41
