Tonight is the night for the tv programme about Kibworth village where my friend's axe wielding viking roots are. Hers is the Coleman family. lol It is on BBC 4 at 9.00pm if anyone else would like to see it.

Yes, we could have had a nasty accident Mel. Couldn't tell anything was wrong with it to drive. OH said with cars not needing services very often nowadays it could have been ages before it went into a garage and was spotted if it hadn't been for the MOT. The garage said they are seeing more and more broken springs due to roadhumps.

Hope your mum is improving with her eating again today. She seems to be fancying a bit more variety of things.

hI Jane I am still here .Annie cancelled the restaurant in Stratford and said can we go to to have Chinese in Birmingham and stay at yours the night. Luckily we have my elder daughter and her ho s bed. I think Annie went to see about her refund for the concert because it is a lot of money and she said she was tired .I fancied the french
but it is her birthday I have bought her a new set of paint brushes cost a lot some special hair or something.
Annie had met Beryl once before and was not impressed she calls her that women and she thought Donnie was her son. Annie said to her is this your son and she said no its my fiancee and Annie just looked a bit shocked .
Beryl looked smart she had a suit on and came out to Stratford on the train.Donnnie looked his gormless self
and kept calling Annie babe .She said I am Annie not your babe. Beryl gave him a sock in the ribs.

Michelle did not get her job Jane how is Hannah doing ?did she have a nice holiday.Did you enjoy yourself with Fritz today. I do feel better thank you Jane. How is your doggie . I had my hair done it cost £50 I had it cut and now its straight .Some American lady told me it was in terrible condition and she would do a treatment its ended up dead straight and nice and soft but cannot do anything with it. just because I wanted to look good. That is why I am short of money ho would have a fit. nice to hear from you SHEILAXXX

Ellen's been in pain over the weekend.
She's had problems with her R knee.
Over the last couple of weeks she has been lying on the top of the duvet at night as she can't bear anything near it.
This morning her knee and the area above it were swollen and visiblbly pink-red.
I phoned her doctor and got an appointment for this morming.

The doctor gave her a prescription for anti inflamitory tablets and an appointment to have it X rayed on Monday morning.

I had a computor from a gent on ebay David four years old
good price and he gave me the table to stand it on in the window instead of a dull corner in my lounge. I am delighted with it .I changed the keyboard it did not have some digits on it but no problem The gent kindly gave me some flowers also. I owe it all to you. I never thought of ebay.
I saw a recording of the Linda Kudroe programme Fiona mentioned just now what a shame all her relatives were killed in such a dreadful way in Russia but what a happy ending finding the person her dad thought was dead he was so happy. Off to bed now bye .

Morning Everyone.

It was the first night that Mark hasn't woken and in a mad panic I woke him up, thinking the worse. He was fine, phew.

Fiona.... I was so pleased your daughter enjoyed her first day at her new job. It must be a relief to be able to go off, knowing that Sophia is safe and happy with you. Looking after young children is demanding and having a little break from Sophia will be good for her - much as she loves her.

Sheila.... Nice to hear from you. I agree with Jane, you sound much better - more relaxed. Thank you for all your kind thoughts - they are much appreciated.

Jane... The twins go to a swimming class, but I had to go into the pool with Emily because she has no sense of danger and additionally finds it difficult to follow instructions in a group. Problem being that as she is autistic, Emily doesn't see herself as part of the group. All instruction has to be on a 'one to one' basis. We had a lovely time in the water though.

Where's Shirl? I've missed her popping in during the past few days - she always makes me smile.

Shame about the concert Ann. Let's hope it will be rescheduled soon.
I've never worked with Andre. Have worked with Nigel Kennedy - very 'unconventional' lol I was playing in an orchestra where he was the soloist and after the mid concert break, he came dashing on stage bouncing a football. He then threw the ball into the audience lol. Everyone was rather surprised lol

Well, better go and attack those chores. Would rather do some of my tree lol

Jane

Jane Report 23 Sep 2010 11:38

Catie ,I remember that dreadful feeling of panic the first time mine didn't wake in the night.Heart thumping and dreading what I might find.I think I made Chris go and check once.I'm glad you enjoyed the pool with the girls.

Yes where is Shirl? i hope everything is alright.Maybe OG is not well .

I am still in my nightie !!! doing the ironing. It's so dark I have had to put the light on .
Chester has just chased the squirrel that was in the process of digging a hole in the lawn to bury a conker.Poor thing ran of with his cheeks bulging lol

Frank Report 23 Sep 2010 12:16

Hi all,

Had a very bad couple of days. When we arrived at No. 2 sons.We had a coffee, and I felt as sick as a dog, I spent the day back and forward to the toilet. I didn't eat all day and didn't have anymore to drink. He cooked a nice roast pork dinner last night, but I passed. When we got home I had a bowl of soup and bread, because I can't take my tablets on an empty stomach. Within half an hour that was down my "WHITE FRIEND" I went to bed at 9.30pm. was in and out all night with the runs. Have had a "IMODIUM" Sandwhich this morning.!!!! and been two more times, so followed instructions and had another pill, after each.

I am not doing a thing today, and I mean nothing.

Catie, So pleased you had a nice day with the children yesterday, you are a real brick, I am sure you Mum and Dad will be of great help to the family.

You woman drivers and speed bumps. I am forever telling Ros to "SLOW DOWN" they are there for a purpose.

Shelia, I have spoken to my friend, and she is quite happy for me to forward the book on. It will be in the post soon.!!

Jane, I sat in my sons conservatory about tea time yesterday, I couldn't believe the array of birds that come down to the pond at that time. His squirrel, goes from flower pot to flower pot, jumping up onto them, to see what he has put there for him, which he does most days. What great fun it is to watch. Hope Chester goes on allright.

Jane Report 23 Sep 2010 13:23

Poor you Frank. You seem to be having a few bouts of the old trots lately.Sounds a good idea to do nothing today.I hope you have a good supply of loo paper lol

The sun seems to be coming out now and it is really quite warm.I really must get dressed.I don't know why I am still in this nightie.I never do this.I was never allowed to stay in my nightclothes when I was young.Mum thought it was slovenly .If only she could see me now lol

Afternoon all
Sorry your not so good Frank, hope it's just a tummy bug and nothing serious, got a phone call from Dads care home yesterday, he still having trouble with his stomach, gallblader trouble the doctor thinks, staff are watching his diet but it's not easy when dad keeps picking up any sweets that relatives have brought in for their families and have been left lying around, dad picks up biscuites and the odd half eaten apple and staff will find them in his pockets.
along with the TV remote control, and other peoples posesions.LOL just another symptom of Dementia.
Doctor is hoping to get dad a appointment at the hospital in the near future to have tests. goodness knows how long that will be.

Poor Frank.... Hope you feel better soon. Try to have a good rest and don't think of all those jobs that need doing....They can wait!!!!

Your poor old dad Fiona. I hope he is seen at the hospital soon.

I've been given the afternoon off...yipeee lol

Hi Frank I am so pleased your friend said you can pass on the book . I will e mail you when it arrives with a big thank you.I am really into reading just lately and shall enjoy it.

Sorry your not feeling so good you still have your sense of humour which you need these days only joking about your jokes I do laugh at them .My son in law is the worse
he keeps looking for your jokes and was very serious at one time and they seem to end up all over Tunisia he puts his mates on sometimes those that speak english and I
get these men laughing and one said to me oh very horny lady haha I said to my son in law do you tell them I give you the jokes he said yes. I nearly died I do not speak
to his friends anymore what must they think with a mother in law like me.

I had a bout of the runs and sickness for two days while with my friend and I felt terrible
I had one afternoon in bed and was shaking all over and could not stomach food just the thought of it but it went after about three tablets of Imodium . I know it was a lot but I felt so off colour and weak. You might have irritable bowel syndrome
or something Frank.

I said to ho we should do more together meeting these people who have lost loved ones makes you appreciate each other his comment I do lots with you I live with you
dont I. Charming .Anyway Annie my friend and I are celebrating her birthday in Stratford tonight and my ho and his friend are joining us. I think maybe my talk may have done some good.

Catie Nigel Kennedy fancy you working with him I met him at the BBC when I worked there I had to keep him occupied in the green room he was much younger me having worked at Pebble Mill years ago .I did not know anything about him and faked most of what I said I think I said something about a Cello and he gave lots of technical speel about them and I just smiled and my friend nudged me and said he plays the voilin he
made a joke about a cabbage and nobody got it it just went really silent in the room.

I remember once when April was tiny my daughter lay her on her stomach something I never did with my children and when I picked April up she did not open her eyes .I kept
holding her and she did not move and I panicked not being my baby and phoned the ambulance and put the phone down picked April up and she suddenly opened her eyes and started crying so loud when the ambulance arrived the man really was cross I said I panicked and he said Madame if we came out for every panicky person we would be on the go for ever had she been my my child I may have not panicked so much.
Oh those bumps in the road Frank I went so fast over them taking my husband to the
doctors he said he would not come with me again in the car he said they are there to slow you down you stupid moo and you never even lowered the gear. Well we only get them in the posh areas. My complaint is women at schools to pick up there kids
twice I have had some stupid women get out of a car miles away head in the clouds
and walk in front of my car without looking I always slow down if I did not I may have killed a couple. Then they stick a hand up and walk off like nothings happened. I swear
terrible at them
Well it would be nice if I did not have to go back and forth to Stratford its cost me a fortune in petrol bye for now everyone take care especially you Frank from SHEILA.
