LK, I agreed with you that Jane is not married. I just looked for John Morris McKnight’s marriage in FreeBMD and nothing to come. It should be easy to “find John Morris McKnight” I think the baptism in Woolwich seems that Jane should be a single and used her surname McKnight, not to John jnr’s father. Maybe Margaret Allen could be a single and John would be Gertrude’s father.

I wish I could visit 1 Rush Grove Street to see what inside looks like.

I read your threads again and it is very interesed about Cole, Martin and McKnight. I will look for them to see if anything related to Allen.

Good question about Mary Gertrude Allen Rutherford (B. 1906). I did try to find her in 1911, too. She was alive until her death in 1976.

It is really interested about 27 Dicey St. So Rutherford family would move to 27 Dicey after 1899. Jane McKnight might know Rutherford family?

There is Robert Tetlow in GR family tree so I will contact them if they know anything about it. If not, I might order Robert Tetlow and Jane McKnight's marriage certificate to see who their witnesses were.

That would be a good idea. \there is definitely a relationship of some type there. I cannot find the link with Ada yet.
I am also trying to find the link with the Sibthorpes. There are too many coincidences.
