For anyone who suffers with depression and anxiety on here, I am in touch with several people on here who do and know it is a huge national problem,

As someone who suffers I offer my hand in love and friendship, there are many reasons;life situations, past, medical reasons but everyone who knows how it feels will understand,

All my love,

Caz xxxx

I have a very close friend who suffers badly from depression, and is just recovering from her last bout. I am fortunate, I just get low and anxious, but have seen how much it knocks her back each time.

(((((hugs))))) and caring thoughts, plus a shoulder should it be needed.

Love

Another sufferer, although usually for relatively short periods of time, thankfully. My hand is here.

I make a point of telling people I'm prone to depression, that it's a physical illness and that I've had to have time off work for it and needed anti-depressants a couple of times. Why should there be shame attached to depression? It's amazing when you mention it how many people will tell you they too are fellow sufferers.
You don't get people too worried to admit they've got arthritis or migraines or any other physical ailments do you?
My thoughts and empathy to anyone currently suffering with anxiety and depression and well done Caz.

Ladies, thankyou, I want this thread to be there for people I know suffer but do not want to say, I was brought up by a wonderful Mum and Dad but Dad suffered depression and still does, his medication has helped so much,

My grandma was sectioned for it in the 1930s, my OH suffers and has tried to overdose once before,I may be laying my life bare but if I help one person it is worth it,

I hide my depression for my 5 kids, my job, my parents but know on here I can be me and always know there is a hand to hold,it should be seen as an ilness as much as any other,

Love to you all,
