Evening all Yvette…what you do is talk & eat then talk then eat & talk then talk then talk & eat some more….pmsl. There is usually one conversation going about FH and several others about various subjects. The trick is to be in on all the conversations at the same time. You can do it easy…you’re a woman..lol Vonny…not long now to Thailand. Has Wattle bear arrived at your place yet? Don’t forget to allow for his luggage when you work out the weight of the bags. And don’t forget to take lots of pickles of him doing touristy things…lol Hi Wilson…have you had any of this lovely rain out your way? Are you going to the Sydney meet? Pam…I’ve been talking to SuzyQ about the Gold Coast mini meet. As the 13th of July is the first anniversary of the first meet I was thinking some time around that date would be good for the mini meet. We’ll have to wait for Donna to come back from Sydney this weekend to ask her. Anna…..Kill Jill…yooo hooo…can you hear me? What do you two think? I know Anna will be in Tamborine for a few days near that time so we’ll have to get our heads together. I’d better feed the animals and think of something for me for dinner. Graeme is at work and Mark is going to a birthday party so only little ole me at home. Love Trifley X

thats sounds pretty good to me. i'm not an excessive bling type of girl. pushing it to be any bling. i just sent an email to a cous, several times removed who lives in qld. only part of the family on my paternal (gypsy) side that we know was transported. only just 'met' her although we don;'t share a lot of family. she has relos still in tasmania. most of mine are still in the uk. i thought she might like to read/write in this bit. i'de never even seen wattlers before as for the reason i started fh, i wanted to give my ex husband (father of 2 eldest)and his twin sister a really good 50th b'day present. i had started seriously about 5 years previous to that. that was 2 years ago. they have most of their family originally transported here. most of their families from 1800's are here, i'm waffling now. going to check dinner -what happened ,no hints on what to cook love yvette

Good evening Wattlers Have not been on here today - out with darling daughter shopping! We had to meet someone who was selling pre-owned Doc Martin knee high leather boots for $90 - they are $400 to buy new! Boots fitted and daughter is thrilled to bits. They look as if they have scarcely been worn so she is taking them to Sydney/Canberra to keep her warm. She was paying of course - not me! Hi Lara - glad you are safely in Brisvegas. You will love Menopause the Musical - it is sooooo funny. Happy anniversary to Devly and David and Jude and Ken. How exciting that you are both going to the Sydney meet - sounds as if it will be a blast. Yvette - we are all hot air you know - I sat on one glass of merlot for the entire Brisbane Casino meet - I drink very little. The company and conversation is fantastic whether you drink or not. And Trifley and I were just mucking about with our feather boas and Trifley's tiara - we just wore them over pants and tops so don't worry about 'power dressing' whatever you do. Trifley me luv - yes - we'll be near the coast on Thursday 13th July. We can easily come down the mountain for lunch. It is our last day so would head for home after that. Dixie is still not eating - she is not well poor little pet. Isn't even interested in the puree etc that I've been giving her. I fear we will have a sad week ahead. Best go and get some dinner ready - maybe everything thrown in a pot like a curried mince. It's a bit bleak outside so a 'hot pot' would warm the cockles of our hearts! Have fun in Canberra tomorrow Gwenda, Vonny and Mary. Waves to everyone and might see you later XX Anna

got fed up waiting for hints, that was over an hour ago and the remaining family members would have passed out due to hunger. i made - chicken thigh parcels with fetta cheese garlic and coriander filling wrapped in bacon. roast baby spuds and re sweet potato, steamed carrots and brocolli. took exactly an hour and now they are quiet. i couldn't eat all mine as i had only just polished off fig jam on new crusts. we had home delivered chinese last night (spicey garlic eggplant is something else) so i felt slack even considering fast food. eldest son bought me home a bottle of chardy from the wineries where he stayed during the week. takes me a week to finish the bottle though yvette

Yum Yvette Can we come to your place for dinner tonight? Sounds absolutely delicious! My 'hot pot' pales into insignificance. However it is almost ready to eat so I had best go serve it up. Numbers at the ready ladies? Lotto is less than an hour and a half away. Good luck to us all! Byeee Anna

Yvette Report 24 Jun 2006 10:21

hellooooo shaz. are you blonde? that call reminded me a joke this bloke told me. (i'm blonde but have dyed it brown and he knows) 2 blondes sitting on a bench in Sydney looking at the moon. one says to the other ' which do you think is further away, Tasmania or the moon?' the other says 'hellooooo, can you see Tasmania?' off to the telly and the cuppa xx

Hi Trifley The 13th sounds good to me. Anna, hope poor little Dixie picks up. I can't handle sadness with animals. I'm just an emotional mess where they are concerned. Lara, glad you told us about that heart worm injection. We were going to get the vet to give it to Bind when she goes for her check up next month. Have just about run out of tablets, but now , we will continue on with them. Can someone tell me what 'craft' stands for, from the dumb one who continually has 'senior moments' - probably the same thing. Shaz, make the miserable old B pay - big time. My cousin did my Dad's side of the family and just handed it to me on a plate - really appreciated it. And I'm not a plonker, just a wino. Gee Yvette, you didn't need any culinary hints from us. Sounds wonderful. Must go and pop another cork Pam

Dunno about Trifley gate-crashing Shazz, but she roared her way through the thread, just missing my fingers ! Ooops nearly forgot the lotto - we use the 2nd half of last weeks number or something - I'll check. Inicidentally who buys next weeks ticket. Ive come to the end of my list now, there's been a few newbies since then. I found it - its on the left hand side of Tonys email and its Lotto No. 2601 Jood

Hi everyone :-) Vonny, Mary and Gwenda enjoy your mini meet :-) Lara and Anna hope Billie and Dixie will be ok (((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))) for both of them. Trifley are you planning on gatecrashing the party and showing them how it's done pmsl Can't stay as it took me a while to catch up and Jess wants the puter. I seem to have been saying that for the last few days don't I, the can't stay bit. That's cos I have two essays to be done by next friday, on my least fav subjects and a presentation for Monday. Ah well it'll all be over by Friday :-) Pam I think a craft moment is a senior moment although, at 34, I'm too young to have one pmsl ;-pppppppppppp *runs off thread waving to all* hee hee ;-) Juliexx

I'm baaaack. I offered to stay for the party but Mark said...'That's ok mum, you go home and rest' cheeky bugger! Yvette....we have a cook by the looks of things! Let me know when you're having those parcels again and I'll drop by. Anna...the 13th is good for me so we'll have to wait and see what Donna says. Shaz...what sort of a phone did you want? Pam...are you knocking the top of something tasty? Joodles...I'm glad you keep up with the Lotto...I'm still confused about last week. My list reads Rebs as the last one for the Saturday 15th July is that right? What happens then....do we just start at the top again ? Has anyone heard from Kill Jill? Coffee time. Trifley X
