Evening Wattlers Yippee I've taken the plunge and booked the tickets. I will be in Sydney on Sat 12 August So I gather you had better all put the date in your diaries. Gee I suppose with it being after 11.00 everyone will be in bed, oh well you will see this when you come on here in the morning. Cheers Sue |

Sad that the cheap tickets were on a weekend you have the girls and David can't come with you - but we'll send you home with lots of stories to tell him so he wont miss out after all. I reacon we will be able to fit in a fair bit into that 27 hours . . . We are off to West Wyalong in the morning - but never fear the lappy is here !!! Catch you all later - you chatter boxes racked up 6 pages this evening !!! Take care all cheers luv Laurie |

Morning Wafflers, Wakey, wakey everyone - Tassie has done the deed - she was so excited but you'd all talked yourselves out and gone off to bed Great Tassie - I'll arrange to use some personal leave for that date - be nice to meet up with you as it doesn't seem we are to get to Tassie this year after all. Mary & Vonny - look forward to catching up tomorrow at 12 outside Big W - any preferences on where to eat Should also thank Mary for bringing the rain with her - better than the minuses we could have turned on for you. Be back shortly to see if I'm talking to myself or if anyone else has surfaced. Gwenda |

Morning All Gee you know after my late night last night and with all the excitement of buying the tickets I couldnt sleep. I am going for a walk and will be back after. Laurie yes it is a shame that David cant come but it just seemed too much monney for a short time for both of us to go and we couldnt warrant paying all the extra money, as the weekend before or after was about $40 dearer each person. Might have to try and find something nice over there to bring back to him. Gwenda you popped in while I was typing, yes it will be great to met up with all of you, I know I was slow getting things organised last night as we kept on having visitors and the last visitor is mad on footy and sat and watched most of the footy with us. David was happy as he is a Kangaroo supporter. Well I will catch you all when I get back. Cheers Sue ps. 7 weeks = 49 days til Sydney meet, yipee |

Tassie, sorry I left you last night and went to bed when you were so excited. Yes, seven weeks today it is. I wonder how many will still be going? I have 13 names so far. Can you all confirm with me that you are still able to go .. Sydney peeps (and the few from ACT & Vic). Woo hoo. That will be a bigger group than the Brisbane bash. Gwen, been awake since 6.30, was typing out a newspaper report of a grisly death of a distant rellie from a newspaper report on Monday 23 September 1889. Would still like to confirm it though - I dont suppose anyone lives near Echuca? The guy was only 32, but sounds like he'd been kicked out of home, as he only had a case and swag, and had been seen intoxicated near the railway line, earlier. Well, time for shower and brekky and a new start to the day. Jood |

Jood, give this website a go - its for the Moama Family History Group, Echuca, Vic. http://home(*)vicnet(*)net(*)au/~emhist/ hopefully they can help. The National Library has fiche covering Echuca apparently but I won't be there for a couple of weeks otherwise I would look at that for you - would only be death info I think but better than nothing. Off to work soon, catch up later have a great day peeps Gwenda |

Good Morning :) Ooooo 49 sleeps, now that's a countdown I can get excited about :) Looks like we are having a meet every two months with afternoon tea somewhere inbetween :) Looking forward to tomorrow Gwenda and Mary. I don't mind where we go as I don't know Woden all that well. Also, I have another meeting at 2pm :( so I won't be able to stay all afternoon. Sorry. I forgot about the other one but it should still work ok. ~~~~~~~~~ to all. Vonny |

Morning Again Back from my walk. Washing on the line as we only got one day out of the 3 predicted days of rain, and then we only ended up with 4 mm seemed more. Gee about 13 people Im not used to big crowds coming from quiet little ol' Tassie lol. Guess I had better sleep for 24 hours straight before I come over, by the sound of Laurie having a full 27 hours in Sydney :-0 Hope I dont fall asleep on the plane on the way back, otherwise who knows where I might end up lol. Cheers Sue |

Ohhhhhhhhhh Lew - I wasn't even anticipating a lift - but if you do want company, I'll be glad to go with you. I assumed Terry was going, and that you would be staying at the Quay. .. Catching the train from here is no big deal though. Ooops - another email from Lara ( a joke ) - she must be going through her mail. We will probably hear from her later. Yvette - accuweather has never heard of Sydney Australia - I use http://mirror*bom*gov*au/weather/radar/ to see who is getting rain in Australia, and I get an email every Friday with my own personal Town's weather (Springwood) - for Sat-Sun-Mon weekendweather*weatherchannel*com*au (first * is a curly a - it wont let me use it) Mary, Springwood in the mountains and Penrith copped a lot of rain last night, and the two previous nights and days, tho yesterday and today are sunnier.
