Night Jood. Have a great sleep. Have just spoken with my sister in Adelaide and it looks like the whole family are coming to Mudgee for Christmas, hooray and, of course, boooooo. That means I get to cater for them (some of them don't eat meat!) Lew xxx |

Oh Oh - me again. Annabel, I saw some Dolphins recently too, and they were swimming in front of the boat as tho they were pulling us. .. It was incredible. .. I believe these Dolphins are there most of the time, and are used to the tour boats coming out each day. .. They really put on a show for us. .. I tried to take pics of them diving out of the water, but they were too fast. Lew I go to Perth for xmas, my daughter here is a vegetarian lol Jood |

Evenin' Wafflers Aaaaaaaahhhh! Have been tweaked and probed by my lovely chiro and all my bits are back where they should be - well that's not counting the bits that have fallen due to gravity, too much chocolate etc....!! Hello to all the new Wattlers and Annabel - we haven't seen you for yonks. Hope your OH will be back to feeling great again in the near future. The big C certainly turns your world topsy turvey so I hope all is back to normal for you all as soon as possible. What a lot of unladylike elbowing and shoving for the number of the beast!! Hmmmmph - I didn't want that rotten old beastly number anyhow! Katherine collapsed into bed at 7.30pm - she was quite pleased with her exam, oral etc. Now she is starting to think that there were hidden agendas etc! Maths tomorrow and then she can coast along until holidays start next Thursday, 22nd. She is off to Sydney and Canberra with her school choir and concert band from July 8th until 14th - she will spend her 16th birthday on the bus on her way home from Canberra! Chris and I are popping up to Mt Tamborine for a few nights while she is away - should be lovely - just the 2 of us! Witchety - barefoot in Mudgee in June is not good - hope you don't get frostbite! Maybe some nice knitted bed socks would do in the meantime. Triffley - are you still hitting the caffeine? What was the name of that sherry you swill? Was it Autumn something? I grabbed a bottle today to settle my nerves instead of throwing myself on the mercy of the bogus medical adviser on this thread. Princess DIY - oooops! shame about the ironing board cover but it could have been worse. Could have burnt the entire office down. The Wattlers would have had a lot to answer for then! I'll have to get off here soon as OH has to do his treasurer's report for the wood club. Catch you all later. Nighty night Anna |

Morning Wattlers. Not as cold here this morning as yesterday, it's only minus 3.5c as we speak. Pam, I do hope you're not casting aspersions on my reputation, lol. Don't forget I'm married to a Solicitor and defamation charges can be laid in the blink of an eye, pmsl. Now, take this very sweet, little, maroon pill and mind your mouth! This morning, I wish to quote to you all from a wonderful book by Mrs Danvers Delano called 'The Ways of Society'. I think you could all do with a little lesson in etiquette (particularly you, Pam, in view of your previous outburst) 'Paying Calls - In paying a first call, always make it, if possible, about 3.30, so that you avoid being invited to tea and do not in any way clash with a late luncheon. Never stay longer than a quarter of an hour, as the servants often remain stationary in the hall in order to let out the visitors. Do not call en masse; two is quite the limit. Of course, you always leave your umbrella in the hall, or your sunshade, though if the handle is something quite out of the ordinary you might possibly be justified in clinging to it.' Well, that's today's little reading. Another lesson will be posted tomorrow. Off to the office! I was going to say 'work', but I think we all know there's not much of that being done, heee, heee, heee. Lew Lew (14 sleeps) |
